¹ Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; give praise in the heights.	¹ ALLELUIA. Laudate Dominum de caelis, laudate eum in excelsis.
² Praise him, all you angels; give praise, all you hosts.	² Laudate eum, omnes angeli eius, laudate eum, omnes virtutes eius.
³ Praise him, sun and moon; give praise, all shining stars.	³ Laudate eum, sol et luna, laudate eum, omnes stellae lucentes.
⁴ Praise him, highest heavens, you waters above the heavens.	⁴ Laudate eum, caeli caelorum et aquae omnes, quae super caelos sunt. -
⁵ Let them all praise the LORD'S name; for the LORD commanded and they were created,	⁵ Laudent nomen Domini, quia ipse mandavit, et creata sunt;
⁶ Assigned them duties forever, gave them tasks that will never change.	⁶ statuit ea in aeternum et in saeculum saeculi; praeceptum posuit, et non praeteribit.
⁷ Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea monsters and all deep waters;	⁷ Laudate Dominum de terra, dracones et omnes abyssi,
⁸ You lightning and hail, snow and clouds, storm winds that fulfill his command;	⁸ ignis, grando, nix, fumus, spiritus procellarum, qui facit verbum eius,
⁹ You mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars;	⁹ montes et omnes colles, ligna fructifera et omnes cedri,
¹⁰ You animals wild and tame, you creatures that crawl and fly;	¹⁰ bestiae et universa pecora, serpentes et volucres pennatae.
¹¹ You kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all who govern on earth;	¹¹ Reges terrae et omnes populi, principes et omnes iudices terrae,
¹² Young men and women too, old and young alike.	¹² iuvenes et virgines, senes cum iunioribus
¹³ Let them all praise the LORD'S name, for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heaven.	¹³ laudent nomen Domini, quia exaltatum est nomen eius solius. Magnificentia eius super caelum et terram,
¹⁴ The LORD has lifted high the horn of his people; to the glory of all the faithful, of Israel, the people near to their God. Hallelujah!	¹⁴ et exaltavit cornu populi sui. Hymnus omnibus sanctis eius, filiis Israel, populo, qui propinquus est ei. ALLELUIA.
