Psalms 148

1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; give praise in the heights.	1 ¡Aleluya! Alaben al Señor desde el cielo, alábenlo en las alturas;
2 Praise him, all you angels; give praise, all you hosts.	2 alábenlo, todos sus ángeles, alábenlo, todos sus ejércitos.
3 Praise him, sun and moon; give praise, all shining stars.	3 Alábenlo, sol y luna, alábenlo, astros luminosos;
4 Praise him, highest heavens, you waters above the heavens.	4 alábenlo, espacios celestiales y aguas que están sobre el cielo.
5 Let them all praise the LORD'S name; for the LORD commanded and they were created,	5 Alaben el nombre del Señor, porque él lo ordenó, y fueron creados;
6 Assigned them duties forever, gave them tasks that will never change.	6 él los afianzó para siempre, estableciendo una ley que no pasará.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you sea monsters and all deep waters;	7 Alaben al Señor desde la tierra, los cetáceos y los abismos del mar;
8 You lightning and hail, snow and clouds, storm winds that fulfill his command;	8 el rayo, el granizo, la nieve, la bruma, y el viento huracanado que obedece a sus órdenes.
9 You mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars;	9 Las montañas y todas las colinas, los árboles frutales y todos los cedros;
10 You animals wild and tame, you creatures that crawl and fly;	10 las fieras y los animales domésticos, los reptiles y los pájaros alados.
11 You kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all who govern on earth;	11 Los reyes de la tierra y todas las naciones, los príncipes y los gobernantes de la tierra;
12 Young men and women too, old and young alike.	12 los ancianos, los jóvenes y los niños,
13 Let them all praise the LORD'S name, for his name alone is exalted, majestic above earth and heaven.	13 alaben el nombre del Señor. Porque sólo su Nombre es sublime; su majestad está sobre el cielo y la tierra,
14 The LORD has lifted high the horn of his people; to the glory of all the faithful, of Israel, the people near to their God. Hallelujah!	14 y él exalta la fuerza de su pueblo. ¡A él, la alabanza de todos sus fieles, y de Israel, el pueblo de sus amigos! ¡Aleluya!
