1 Then the LORD said to Moses,	1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:
2 "On the first day of the first month you shall erect the Dwelling of the meeting tent.	2 "No primeiro dia do primeiro mês, levantarás o tabernáculo, a tenda de reunião.
3 Put the ark of the commandments in it, and screen off the ark with the veil.	3 Porás nele a arca da aliança e a ocultarás com o véu.
4 Bring in the table and set it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up the lamps on it.	4 Trarás a mesa e disporás nela as coisas que devem estar sobre ela. Trarás o candelabro e porás nele suas lâmpadas.
5 Put the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the commandments, and hang the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.	5 Colocarás o altar de ouro para o perfume diante da arca da aliança e pendurarás o véu à entrada do tabernáculo.
6 Put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent.	6 Colocarás o altar dos holocaustos diante da entrada do tabernáculo, da tenda de reunião.
7 Place the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it.	7 Colocarás a bacia entre a tenda de reunião e o altar, e porás água nela.
8 Set up the court round about, and put the curtain at the entrance of the court.	8 Farás o recinto do átrio e disporás a cortina à entrada do átrio.
9 "Take the anointing oil and anoint the Dwelling and everything in it, consecrating it and all its furnishings, so that it will be sacred.	9 Tomarás o óleo de unção e ungirás com ele o tabernáculo com tudo o que ele contém; consagrá-lo-ás com todo o seu mobiliário, para que ele se torne uma coisa santa.
10 Anoint the altar of holocausts and all its appurtenances, consecrating it, so that it will be most sacred.	10 Ungirás o altar dos holocaustos e todos os seus utensílios; em virtude de tua consagração, o altar se tornará uma coisa santíssima.
11 Likewise, anoint the laver with its base, and thus consecrate it.	11 Ungirás a bacia com seu pedestal, e a consagrarás.
12 "Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the meeting tent, and there wash them with water.	12 Farás em seguida aproximarem-se Aarão e seus filhos da entrada da tenda de reunião, onde os lavarás com água.
13 Clothe Aaron with the sacred vestments and anoint him, thus consecrating him as my priest.	13 Revestirás Aarão com os ornamentos sagrados; ungi-lo-ás e o consagrarás, e ele será sacerdote a meu serviço.
14 Bring forward his sons also, and clothe them with the tunics.	14 Farás aproximarem-se seus filhos e, depois de os teres revestido de túnicas,
15 As you have anointed their father, anoint them also as my priests. Thus, by being anointed, shall they receive a perpetual priesthood throughout all future generations."	15 tu os ungirás como o fizeste com seu pai; e serão sacerdotes a meu serviço. Essa unção lhes conferirá o sacerdócio para sempre, de geração em geração."
16 Moses did exactly as the LORD had commanded him.	16 Moisés fez tudo o que o Senhor lhe havia mandado, e se conformou a tudo.
17 On the first day of the first month of the second year the Dwelling was erected.	17 Assim, no segundo ano, no primeiro dia do primeiro mês, o tabernáculo foi erigido.
18 It was Moses who erected the Dwelling. He placed its pedestals, set up its boards, put in its bars, and set up its columns.	18 Moisés levantou o tabernáculo: pôs suas bases, suas tábuas, suas travessas, e assentou suas colunas.
19 He spread the tent over the Dwelling and put the covering on top of the tent, as the LORD had commanded him.	19 Estendeu a tenda sobre o tabernáculo, e pôs a coberta da tenda por cima, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.
20 He took the commandments and put them in the ark; he placed poles alongside the ark and set the propitiatory upon it.	20 Tomou o testemunho e colocou-o na arca; meteu os varais na arca, e colocou nela a tampa.
21 He brought the ark into the Dwelling and hung the curtain veil, thus screening off the ark of the commandments, as the LORD had commanded him.	21 Introduziu a arca no tabernáculo; e, tendo pendurado o véu de separação, cobriu com ele a arca da aliança, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.
22 He put the table in the meeting tent, on the north side of the Dwelling, outside the veil,	22 Colocou a mesa na tenda de reunião, do lado norte do tabernáculo, diante da cortina;
23 and arranged the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.	23 e dispôs nela em ordem os pães diante do Senhor, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.
24 He placed the lampstand in the meeting tent, opposite the table, on the south side of the Dwelling,	24 Pôs o candelabro na tenda de reunião, diante da mesa, do lado sul do tabernáculo,
25 and he set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.	25 e dispôs nele as lâmpadas diante do Senhor, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.
26 He placed the golden altar in the meeting tent, in front of the veil,	26 Colocou o altar de ouro na tenda de reunião, diante do véu,
27 and on it he burned fragrant incense, as the LORD had commanded him.	27 e queimou nele o incenso, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.
28 He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.	28 Colocou a cortina à entrada do tabernáculo.
29 He put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent, and offered holocausts and cereal offerings on it, as the LORD had commanded him.	29 Colocou o altar dos holocaustos à entrada do tabernáculo, da tenda de reunião, e ofereceu sobre ele o holocausto e a oblação, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.
30 He placed the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it for washing.	30 Colocou a bacia entre a tenda de reunião e o altar, e pôs nela a água para as abluções.
31 Moses and Aaron and his sons used to wash their hands and feet there,	31 Moisés, Aarão e seus filhos lavaram aí as mãos e os pés.
32 for they washed themselves whenever they went into the meeting tent or approached the altar, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	32 Quando entravam na tenda de reunião e se aproximavam do altar, faziam suas abluções, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.
33 Finally, he set up the court around the Dwelling and the altar and hung the curtain at the entrance of the court. Thus Moses finished all the work.	33 Enfim, fez o recinto do átrio em torno do tabernáculo e do altar e colocou a cortina na porta do átrio. Assim terminou Moisés a sua tarefa.
34 Then the cloud covered the meeting tent, and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.	34 Então a nuvem cobriu a tenda de reunião e a glória do Senhor encheu o tabernáculo.
35 Moses could not enter the meeting tent, because the cloud settled down upon it and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.	35 E era impossível a Moisés entrar na tenda de reunião, porque a nuvem pairava sobre ela, e a glória do Senhor enchia o tabernáculo.
36 Whenever the cloud rose from the Dwelling, the Israelites would set out on their journey.	36 Durante todo o curso de suas peregrinações, os israelitas se punham a caminho quando se elevava a nuvem que estava sobre o tabernáculo;
37 But if the cloud did not lift, they would not go forward; only when it lifted did they go forward.	37 do contrário, eles não partiam até o dia em que ela se elevasse.
38 In the daytime the cloud of the LORD was seen over the Dwelling; whereas at night, fire was seen in the cloud by the whole house of Israel in all the stages of their journey.	38 E, enquanto duraram as suas peregrinações, a nuvem do Senhor pairou sobre o tabernáculo durante o dia; e, durante a noite, havia um fogo na nuvem, que era visível a todos os israelitas.
