1 With violet, purple and scarlet yarn were woven the service cloths for use in the sanctuary, as well as the sacred vestments for Aaron, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	1 Aus violetter Purpurwolle, rotem Purpur und karmesinfarbenem Stoff fertigte man gewirkte Gewänder zum Dienst im Heiligtum an. Die heiligen Gewänder Aarons machten sie so, wie es der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
2 The ephod was woven of gold thread and of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined.	2 Das Ephod stellte man aus Gold her, aus violetter Purpurwolle und rotem Purpur, karmesinfarbenem Stoff und gezwirntem Byssus.
3 Gold was first hammered into gold leaf and then cut up into threads, which were woven with the violet, purple and scarlet yarn into an embroidered pattern on the fine linen.	3 Sie hämmerten die Goldplatten breit und zerschnitten sie in Fäden, um sie zwischen die violette Purpurwolle, den roten Purpur, den karmesinfarbenen Stoff und den Byssus in der Art eines Kunstwirkers einzuarbeiten.
4 Shoulder straps were made for it and joined to its two upper ends.	4 Sie machten für das Ephod verbundene Schulterstücke; an seinen beiden Enden wurde es zusammengefügt.
5 The embroidered belt on the ephod extended out from it, and like it, was made of gold thread, of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, and of fine linen twined, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	5 Das Band aber, das sich zum Anlegen daran befand, war mit ihm ein Stück, so wie dieses gearbeitet aus Gold, violetter Purpurwolle, rotem Purpur, karmesinfarbenem Stoff und gezwirntem Byssus, wie es der Herr dem Moses aufgetragen hatte.
6 The onyx stones were prepared and mounted in gold filigree work; they were engraved like seal engravings with the names of the sons of Israel.	6 Und sie bearbeiteten die Karneolsteine, in einem Flechtwerk von Gold gefaßt und in Siegelstecherarbeit graviert mit den Namen der Söhne Israels.
7 These stones were set on the shoulder straps of the ephod as memorial stones of the sons of Israel, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	7 Man setzte sie auf die Schulterstücke des Ephod als Steine der Erinnerung an die Israeliten, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
8 The breastpiece was embroidered like the ephod, with gold thread and violet, purple and scarlet yarn on cloth of fine linen twined.	8 Und man fertigte das Brustschild in Kunstwirkerarbeit wie das Ephod, aus Gold, violetter Purpurwolle, rotem Purpur, karmesinfarbenem Stoff und gezwirntem Byssus.
9 It was square and folded double, a span high and a span wide in its folded form.	9 Es war quadratisch; man machte das Brustschild doppelt gelegt, je eine Spanne lang und breit, doppelt gefaltet.
10 Four rows of precious stones were mounted on it: in the first row a carnelian, a topaz and an emerald;	10 Man besetzte es mit vier Reihen von Edelsteinen. Erste Reihe: Rubin, Chrysolith und Smaragd.
11 in the second row, a garnet, a sapphire and a beryl;	11 Zweite Reihe: Türkis, Lasurstein und Jaspis.

13 in the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx and a jasper. They were mounted in gold filigree work.	13 Vierte Reihe: Tarsis, Karneol und Nephrit; in Gold gefaßt waren sie in ihren Reihen.
14 These stones were twelve, to match the names of the sons of Israel, and each stone was engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	14 Die Steine trugen die Namen der Söhne Israels; zwölf waren es, entsprechend ihren Namen, Siegelstecherarbeiten, ein jeder mit einem Namen nach den zwölf Stämmen.
15 Chains of pure gold, twisted like cords, were made for the breastpiece,	15 Man stellte für das Brustschild gedrehte Kettchen her nach Art von Schnüren aus reinem Gold.
16 together with two gold filigree rosettes and two gold rings. The two rings were fastened to the two upper ends of the breastpiece.	16 Dann verfertigte man für das Brustschild zwei goldene Einfassungen und zwei goldene Ringe und befestigte die beiden Ringe an den beiden Enden des Brustschildes.
17 The two gold chains were then fastened to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece.	17 Die beiden goldenen Schnüre machten sie an den zwei Ringen an den Enden des Brustschildes fest.
18 The other two ends of the two chains were fastened in front to the two filigree rosettes, which were attached to the shoulder straps of the ephod.	18 Die zwei anderen Enden der beiden Schnüre befestigten sie an den beiden geflochtenen Einfassungen und brachten diese auf den Schulterstücken des Ephod an dessen Vorderseite an.
19 Two other gold rings were made and put on the two lower ends of the breastpiece, on the edge facing the ephod.	19 Dann stellten sie noch zwei goldene Ringe her und brachten sie an den beiden (anderen) Enden des Brustschildes an, und zwar auf seinem inneren, dem Ephod zugewandten Rand.
20 Two more gold rings were made and fastened to the bottom of the two shoulder straps next to where they joined the ephod in front, just above its embroidered belt.	20 Dann fertigten sie zwei weitere goldene Ringe an und befestigten sie auf den beiden Schulterstücken des Ephod unten an seiner vorderen Seite, nahe der Stelle, wo es zusammengefügt ist, aber oberhalb der Binde des Ephod.
21 Violet ribbons bound the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the ephod, so that the breastpiece stayed right above the embroidered belt of the ephod and did not swing loose from it. All this was just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	21 Man band das Brustschild durch seine Ringe an die Ephodringe mittels Schnüren aus violettem Purpur fest, damit es über der Binde des Ephod blieb und das Brustschild sich nicht von seiner Stelle auf dem Ephod verschob, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
22 The robe of the ephod was woven entirely of violet yarn,	22 Dann machte man das Obergewand des Ephod als Webearbeit ganz aus violetter Purpurwolle.
23 with an opening in its center like the opening of a shirt, with selvage around the opening to keep it from being torn.	23 Die Öffnung des Obergewandes war in der Mitte ganz wie die Öffnung eines Panzerhemdes; ein ringsum besetzter Rand war an seiner Öffnung, damit es nicht zerriß.
24 At the hem of the robe pomegranates were made of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined;	24 Am Saum des Obergewandes brachte man Granatäpfel, aus violetter Purpurwolle, rotem Purpur und karmesinfarbenem Stoff gezwirnt, an.
25 bells of pure gold were also made and put between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe:	25 Auch verfertigten sie Glöckchen aus reinem Gold und befestigten diese zwischen den Granatäpfeln, und zwar an dem Saum des Obergewandes, ringsum zwischen den Granatäpfeln:
26 first a bell, then a pomegranate, and thus alternating all around the hem of the robe which was to be worn in performing the ministry--all this, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	26 Immer ein Glöckchen und ein Granatapfel ringsum am Saum des Obergewandes abwechselnd, für den heiligen Dienst, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
27 For Aaron and his sons there were also woven tunics of fine linen;	27 Man verfertigte danach die Leibröcke aus Byssus in Webearbeit für Aaron und seine Söhne,
28 the miter of fine linen; the ornate turbans of fine linen; drawers of linen (of fine linen twined);	28 ferner den Turban aus Byssus, die gewundenen Kopfbedeckungen aus Byssus und die linnenen Beinkleider aus gezwirntem Byssus,
29 and sashes of variegated work made of fine linen twined and of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	29 endlich den Gürtel aus gezwirntem Byssus, violetter Purpurwolle und rotem Purpur und karmesinfarbenem Stoff in Buntwirkerarbeit, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
30 The plate of the sacred diadem was made of pure gold and inscribed, as on a seal engraving: "Sacred to the LORD."	30 Dann verfertigte man das Stirnblatt, das heilige Diadem, aus gediegenem Gold, und sie schrieben darauf in Siegelstecherschrift: "Heilig dem Herrn!"
31 It was tied over the miter with a violet ribbon, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	31 Sie befestigten daran eine Schnur von violetter Purpurwolle, um sie oben am Turban anzubringen, wie der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
32 Thus the entire work of the Dwelling of the meeting tent was completed. The Israelites did the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	32 So wurde denn sämtliche Arbeit für die Wohnung des Offenbarungszeltes vollendet; die Israeliten taten so, wie es der Herr dem Moses befohlen hatte.
33 They then brought to Moses the Dwelling, the tent with all its appurtenances, the clasps, the boards, the bars, the columns, the pedestals,	33 Sie brachten die Wohnstätte zu Moses: Das Zelt mit all seinen Geräten, seinen Haken, Brettern, Riegeln, Säulen und seinen Fußsockeln,
34 the covering of rams' skins dyed red, the covering of tahash skins, the curtain veil;	34 die Decke aus rotgegerbten Widderfellen, die Decke aus Tachaschhäuten und den verhüllenden Vorhang,
35 the ark of the commandments with its poles, the propitiatory,	35 die Gesetzeslade mit ihren Stangen und der Deckplatte,
36 the table with all its appurtenances and the showbread,	36 den Tisch mit all seinen Geräten und den Schaubroten,
37 the pure gold lampstand with its lamps set up on it and with all its appurtenances, the oil for the light,	37 den Leuchter aus reinem Gold mit seinen Lampen - die Lampen der Reihe nach aufgesetzt - und all seinen Geräten sowie das Öl für den Leuchter,
38 the golden altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense; the curtain for the entrance of the tent,	38 den goldenen Altar, das Salböl, das wohlriechende Räucherwerk und den Vorhang für den Zelteingang,
39 the altar of bronze with its bronze grating, its poles and all its appurtenances, the laver with its base,	39 den kupfernen Altar und das zu ihm gehörige kupferne Gitterwerk mit seinen Stangen und all seinen Geräten, das Becken mit seinem Gestell,
40 the hangings of the court with their columns and pedestals, the curtain for the entrance of the court with its ropes and tent pegs, all the equipment for the service of the Dwelling of the meeting tent;	40 die Behänge des Vorhofes, seine Säulen und Fußsockel und den Behang für das Vorhoftor, seine Stricke und Pflöcke sowie alle Geräte zum Dienst an der Wohnstätte des Offenbarungszeltes,
41 the service cloths for use in the sanctuary, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments to be worn by his sons in their ministry.	41 endlich die gewirkten Kleider zum Dienst am Heiligtum, die heiligen Gewänder für den Priester Aaron sowie die Kleider für seine Söhne zum priesterlichen Dienst.
42 The Israelites had carried out all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	42 Ganz nach den Befehlen des Herrn an Moses hatten die Israeliten die gesamte Arbeit gemacht.
43 So when Moses saw that all the work was done just as the LORD had commanded, he blessed them.	43 Moses besichtigte das ganze Werk. Sie hatten es gemacht, wie der Herr es befohlen hatte. Und Moses segnete sie.
