1 With violet, purple and scarlet yarn were woven the service cloths for use in the sanctuary, as well as the sacred vestments for Aaron, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	1 Avec la pourpre violette et écarlate et le cramoisi, ils firent les vêtements liturgiques pour officierdans le sanctuaire. Ils firent les vêtements sacrés destinés à Aaron, comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
2 The ephod was woven of gold thread and of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined.	2 Ils firent l'éphod d'or, de pourpre violette et écarlate, de cramoisi et de fin lin retors.
3 Gold was first hammered into gold leaf and then cut up into threads, which were woven with the violet, purple and scarlet yarn into an embroidered pattern on the fine linen.	3 Ils battirent les plaques d'or et les découpèrent en fils pour les entremêler à la pourpre violette etécarlate, au cramoisi et au lin fin, à la manière du brocheur.
4 Shoulder straps were made for it and joined to its two upper ends.	4 Ils lui firent deux épaulettes qui y furent fixées, il y fut fixé par ses deux bords.
5 The embroidered belt on the ephod extended out from it, and like it, was made of gold thread, of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, and of fine linen twined, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	5 L'écharpe qui était dessus pour l'attacher faisait corps avec lui et était de même travail. Elle étaitd'or, de pourpre violette et écarlate, de cramoisi et de fin lin retors, comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
6 The onyx stones were prepared and mounted in gold filigree work; they were engraved like seal engravings with the names of the sons of Israel.	6 Ils travaillèrent les pierres de cornaline, serties dans des chatons d'or, où furent gravés en gravure desceaux les noms des Israélites.
7 These stones were set on the shoulder straps of the ephod as memorial stones of the sons of Israel, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	7 Ils placèrent sur les épaulettes de l'éphod des pierres comme mémorial des Israélites, comme Yahvél'avait ordonné à Moïse.
8 The breastpiece was embroidered like the ephod, with gold thread and violet, purple and scarlet yarn on cloth of fine linen twined.	8 Ils firent le pectoral, brodé comme l'éphod, d'or, de pourpre violette et écarlate, de cramoisi et de finlin retors.
9 It was square and folded double, a span high and a span wide in its folded form.	9 Il était carré et double, d'un empan de long et d'un empan de large.
10 Four rows of precious stones were mounted on it: in the first row a carnelian, a topaz and an emerald;	10 Ils le garnirent de quatre rangées de pierres. Une sardoine, une topaze, une émeraude pour lapremière rangée;

14 These stones were twelve, to match the names of the sons of Israel, and each stone was engraved like a seal with the name of one of the twelve tribes.	14 Les pierres étaient aux noms des Israélites, elles étaient douze, selon leurs noms, gravées commedes sceaux, chacune au nom de l'une des douze tribus.
15 Chains of pure gold, twisted like cords, were made for the breastpiece,	15 Ils firent pour le pectoral des chaînettes d'or pur en forme de torsades.
16 together with two gold filigree rosettes and two gold rings. The two rings were fastened to the two upper ends of the breastpiece.	16 Ils firent deux rosettes d'or et deux anneaux d'or, et ils mirent les deux anneaux aux deux bords dupectoral.
17 The two gold chains were then fastened to the two rings at the ends of the breastpiece.	17 Ils mirent les deux torsades d'or aux deux anneaux, aux bords du pectoral,
18 The other two ends of the two chains were fastened in front to the two filigree rosettes, which were attached to the shoulder straps of the ephod.	18 et les deux bords des torsades, ils les mirent aux deux rosettes: ils les mirent ainsi sur les épaulettesde l'éphod, par-devant.
19 Two other gold rings were made and put on the two lower ends of the breastpiece, on the edge facing the ephod.	19 Ils firent aussi deux anneaux d'or et les mirent aux deux bords du pectoral, sur le bord intérieur, ducôté de l'éphod.
20 Two more gold rings were made and fastened to the bottom of the two shoulder straps next to where they joined the ephod in front, just above its embroidered belt.	20 Ils firent encore deux anneaux d'or, et ils les mirent sur les épaulettes de l'éphod, vers le bas enavant, près de leur point d'attache, au-dessus de l'écharpe de l'éphod.
21 Violet ribbons bound the rings of the breastpiece to the rings of the ephod, so that the breastpiece stayed right above the embroidered belt of the ephod and did not swing loose from it. All this was just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	21 Ils lièrent le pectoral par ses anneaux aux anneaux de l'éphod avec un cordon de pourpre violette,afin que le pectoral soit au-dessus de l'écharpe de l'éphod et ne puisse se séparer de l'éphod, comme Yahvél'avait ordonné à Moïse.
22 The robe of the ephod was woven entirely of violet yarn,	22 Puis ils firent le manteau de l'éphod, tissé tout entier de pourpre violette.
23 with an opening in its center like the opening of a shirt, with selvage around the opening to keep it from being torn.	23 L'ouverture au milieu du manteau était comme l'ouverture d'un corselet de mailles; l'ouvertureavait tout autour une lisière indéchirable.
24 At the hem of the robe pomegranates were made of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined;	24 Ils firent sur l'ourlet du manteau des grenades de pourpre violette et écarlate, de cramoisi et de finlin retors.
25 bells of pure gold were also made and put between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe:	25 Ils firent aussi des clochettes d'or pur et placèrent les clochettes au milieu des grenades;
26 first a bell, then a pomegranate, and thus alternating all around the hem of the robe which was to be worn in performing the ministry--all this, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	26 une clochette une grenade, une clochette une grenade, tout autour de l'ourlet du manteau à porterpour officier, comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
27 For Aaron and his sons there were also woven tunics of fine linen;	27 Puis ils firent les tuniques de fin lin tissé, pour Aaron et pour ses fils;
28 the miter of fine linen; the ornate turbans of fine linen; drawers of linen (of fine linen twined);	28 le turban de lin fin, les calottes de lin fin, les caleçons de fin lin retors,
29 and sashes of variegated work made of fine linen twined and of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	29 les ceintures brochées de fin lin retors, de pourpre violette et écarlate et de cramoisi, comme Yahvél'avait ordonné à Moïse.
30 The plate of the sacred diadem was made of pure gold and inscribed, as on a seal engraving: "Sacred to the LORD."	30 Puis ils firent la fleur -- le signe de la sainte consécration, en or pur -- et ils y gravèrent en intaille,comme un sceau: "Consacré à Yahvé."
31 It was tied over the miter with a violet ribbon, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	31 Ils mirent dessus un cordon de pourpre violette, pour le mettre sur le turban, en haut, commeYahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
32 Thus the entire work of the Dwelling of the meeting tent was completed. The Israelites did the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	32 Ainsi furent achevés tous les travaux de la Demeure, de la Tente du Rendez-vous; en tout ilsavaient fait comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
33 They then brought to Moses the Dwelling, the tent with all its appurtenances, the clasps, the boards, the bars, the columns, the pedestals,	33 Ils apportèrent à Moïse la Demeure, la Tente et tous ses accessoires, ses agrafes, ses cadres, sestraverses, ses colonnes et ses socles;
34 the covering of rams' skins dyed red, the covering of tahash skins, the curtain veil;	34 la couverture en peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, la couverture en cuir fin et le rideau du voile;
35 the ark of the commandments with its poles, the propitiatory,	35 l'arche du Témoignage avec ses barres et le propitiatoire;
36 the table with all its appurtenances and the showbread,	36 la table, tous ses accessoires et les pains d'oblation;
37 the pure gold lampstand with its lamps set up on it and with all its appurtenances, the oil for the light,	37 le candélabre d'or pur, ses lampes -- une rangée de lampes -- et tous ses accessoires, ainsi quel'huile pour le luminaire;
38 the golden altar, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense; the curtain for the entrance of the tent,	38 l'autel d'or, l'huile d'onction, l'encens aromatique et le voile pour l'entrée de la Tente;
39 the altar of bronze with its bronze grating, its poles and all its appurtenances, the laver with its base,	39 l'autel de bronze et son treillis de bronze, ses barres et tous ses accessoires; le bassin et son socle;
40 the hangings of the court with their columns and pedestals, the curtain for the entrance of the court with its ropes and tent pegs, all the equipment for the service of the Dwelling of the meeting tent;	40 les courtines du parvis, ses colonnes, ses socles et le voile pour la porte du parvis, ses cordes, sespiquets ainsi que tous les accessoires du service de la Demeure, pour la Tente du Rendez-vous;
41 the service cloths for use in the sanctuary, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments to be worn by his sons in their ministry.	41 les vêtements liturgiques pour officier dans le sanctuaire -- les vêtements sacrés pour Aaron, leprêtre, et les vêtements de ses fils pour exercer le sacerdoce.
42 The Israelites had carried out all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.	42 Les Israélites avaient fait tous les travaux comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
43 So when Moses saw that all the work was done just as the LORD had commanded, he blessed them.	43 Moïse vit tout l'ouvrage: ils l'avaient fait comme Yahvé l'avait ordonné. Et Moïse les bénit.
