1 "The Dwelling itself you shall make out of sheets woven of fine linen twined and of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim embroidered on them.	1 ואת המשכן תעשה עשר יריעת שש משזר ותכלת וארגמן ותלעת שני כרבים מעשה חשב תעשה אתם
2 The length of each shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width four cubits; all the sheets shall be of the same size.	2 ארך היריעה האחת שמנה ועשרים באמה ורחב ארבע באמה היריעה האחת מדה אחת לכל היריעת
3 Five of the sheets are to be sewed together, edge to edge; and the same for the other five.	3 חמש היריעת תהיין חברת אשה אל אחתה וחמש יריעת חברת אשה אל אחתה
4 Make loops of violet yarn along the edge of the end sheet in one set, and the same along the edge of the end sheet in the other set.	4 ועשית ללאת תכלת על שפת היריעה האחת מקצה בחברת וכן תעשה בשפת היריעה הקיצונה במחברת השנית
5 There are to be fifty loops along the edge of the end sheet in the first set, and fifty loops along the edge of the corresponding sheet in the second set, and so placed that the loops are directly opposite each other.	5 חמשים ללאת תעשה ביריעה האחת וחמשים ללאת תעשה בקצה היריעה אשר במחברת השנית מקבילת הללאת אשה אל אחתה
6 Then make fifty clasps of gold, with which to join the two sets of sheets, so that the Dwelling forms one whole.	6 ועשית חמשים קרסי זהב וחברת את היריעת אשה אל אחתה בקרסים והיה המשכן אחד
7 "Also make sheets woven of goat hair, to be used as a tent covering over the Dwelling.	7 ועשית יריעת עזים לאהל על המשכן עשתי עשרה יריעת תעשה אתם
8 Eleven such sheets are to be made; the length of each shall be thirty cubits, and the width four cubits: all eleven sheets shall be of the same size.	8 ארך היריעה האחת שלשים באמה ורחב ארבע באמה היריעה האחת מדה אחת לעשתי עשרה יריעת
9 Sew five of the sheets, edge to edge, into one set, and the other six sheets into another set. Use the sixth sheet double at the front of the tent.	9 וחברת את חמש היריעת לבד ואת שש היריעת לבד וכפלת את היריעה הששית אל מול פני האהל
10 Make fifty loops along the edge of the end sheet in one set, and fifty loops along the edge of the end sheet in the second set.	10 ועשית חמשים ללאת על שפת היריעה האחת הקיצנה בחברת וחמשים ללאת על שפת היריעה החברת השנית
11 Also make fifty bronze clasps and put them into the loops, to join the tent into one whole.	11 ועשית קרסי נחשת חמשים והבאת את הקרסים בללאת וחברת את האהל והיה אחד
12 There will be an extra half sheet of tent covering, which shall be allowed to hang down over the rear of the Dwelling.	12 וסרח העדף ביריעת האהל חצי היריעה העדפת תסרח על אחרי המשכן
13 Likewise, the sheets of the tent will have an extra cubit's length to be left hanging down on either side of the Dwelling to protect it.	13 והאמה מזה והאמה מזה בעדף בארך יריעת האהל יהיה סרוח על צדי המשכן מזה ומזה לכסתו
14 Over the tent itself you shall make a covering of rams' skins dyed red, and above that, a covering of tahash skins.	14 ועשית מכסה לאהל ערת אילם מאדמים ומכסה ערת תחשים מלמעלה
15 "You shall make boards of acacia wood as walls for the Dwelling.	15 ועשית את הקרשים למשכן עצי שטים עמדים
16 The length of each board is to be ten cubits, and its width one and a half cubits.	16 עשר אמות ארך הקרש ואמה וחצי האמה רחב הקרש האחד
17 Each board shall have two arms that shall serve to fasten the boards in line. In this way all the boards of the Dwelling are to be made.	17 שתי ידות לקרש האחד משלבת אשה אל אחתה כן תעשה לכל קרשי המשכן
18 Set up the boards of the Dwelling as follows: twenty boards on the south side,	18 ועשית את הקרשים למשכן עשרים קרש לפאת נגבה תימנה
19 with forty silver pedestals under the twenty boards, so that there are two pedestals under each board, at its two arms;	19 וארבעים אדני כסף תעשה תחת עשרים הקרש שני אדנים תחת הקרש האחד לשתי ידתיו ושני אדנים תחת הקרש האחד לשתי ידתיו
20 twenty boards on the other side of the Dwelling, the north side,	20 ולצלע המשכן השנית לפאת צפון עשרים קרש
21 with their forty silver pedestals, two under each board;	21 וארבעים אדניהם כסף שני אדנים תחת הקרש האחד ושני אדנים תחת הקרש האחד
22 six boards for the rear of the Dwelling, to the west;	22 ולירכתי המשכן ימה תעשה ששה קרשים
23 and two boards for the corners at the rear of the Dwelling.	23 ושני קרשים תעשה למקצעת המשכן בירכתים
24 These two shall be double at the bottom, and likewise double at the top, to the first ring. That is how both boards in the corners are to be made.	24 ויהיו תאמים מלמטה ויחדו יהיו תמים על ראשו אל הטבעת האחת כן יהיה לשניהם לשני המקצעת יהיו
25 Thus, there shall be in the rear eight boards, with their sixteen silver pedestals, two pedestals under each board.	25 והיו שמנה קרשים ואדניהם כסף ששה עשר אדנים שני אדנים תחת הקרש האחד ושני אדנים תחת הקרש האחד
26 Also make bars of acacia wood: five for the boards on one side of the Dwelling,	26 ועשית בריחם עצי שטים חמשה לקרשי צלע המשכן האחד
27 five for those on the other side, and five for those at the rear, toward the west.	27 וחמשה בריחם לקרשי צלע המשכן השנית וחמשה בריחם לקרשי צלע המשכן לירכתים ימה
28 The center bar, at the middle of the boards, shall reach across from end to end.	28 והבריח התיכן בתוך הקרשים מברח מן הקצה אל הקצה
29 Plate the boards with gold, and make gold rings on them as holders for the bars, which are also to be plated with gold.	29 ואת הקרשים תצפה זהב ואת טבעתיהם תעשה זהב בתים לבריחם וצפית את הבריחם זהב
30 You shall erect the Dwelling according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.	30 והקמת את המשכן כמשפטו אשר הראית בהר
31 "You shall have a veil woven of violet, purple and scarlet yarn, and of fine linen twined, with cherubim embroidered on it.	31 ועשית פרכת תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר מעשה חשב יעשה אתה כרבים
32 It is to be hung on four gold-plated columns of acacia wood, which shall have hooks of gold and shall rest on four silver pedestals.	32 ונתתה אתה על ארבעה עמודי שטים מצפים זהב וויהם זהב על ארבעה אדני כסף
33 Hang the veil from clasps. The ark of the commandments you shall bring inside, behind this veil which divides the holy place from the holy of holies.	33 ונתתה את הפרכת תחת הקרסים והבאת שמה מבית לפרכת את ארון העדות והבדילה הפרכת לכם בין הקדש ובין קדש הקדשים
34 Set the propitiatory on the ark of the commandments in the holy of holies.	34 ונתת את הכפרת על ארון העדת בקדש הקדשים
35 "Outside the veil you shall place the table and the lampstand, the latter on the south side of the Dwelling, opposite the table, which is to be put on the north side.	35 ושמת את השלחן מחוץ לפרכת ואת המנרה נכח השלחן על צלע המשכן תימנה והשלחן תתן על צלע צפון
36 For the entrance of the tent make a variegated curtain of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined.	36 ועשית מסך לפתח האהל תכלת וארגמן ותולעת שני ושש משזר מעשה רקם
37 Make five columns of acacia wood for this curtain; have them plated with gold, with their hooks of gold; and cast five bronze pedestals for them.	37 ועשית למסך חמשה עמודי שטים וצפית אתם זהב וויהם זהב ויצקת להם חמשה אדני נחשת
