Psalms 36

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.	1 Du maître de chant. Du serviteur de Yahvé. De David.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.	2 C'est un oracle pour l'impie que le péché au fond de son coeur; point de crainte de Dieu devant sesyeux.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.	3 Il se voit d'un oeil trop flatteur pour découvrir et détester son tort;
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.	4 les paroles de sa bouche: fraude et méfait! c'est fini d'être un sage. En fait de bien
5 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.	5 il rumine le méfait jusque sur sa couche; ils s'obstine dans la voie qui n'est pas bonne, la mauvaise,il n'en démord pas.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.	6 Yahvé, dans les cieux ton amour, jusqu'aux nues, ta vérité;
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.	7 ta justice, comme les montagnes de Dieu, tes jugements, le grand abîme. L'homme et le bétail, tules secours, Yahvé,
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.	8 qu'il est précieux, ton amour, ô Dieu! Ainsi, les fils d'Adam: à l'ombre de tes ailes ils ont abri.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.	9 Ils s'enivrent de la graisse de ta maison, au torrent de tes délices tu les abreuves;
10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.	10 en toi est la source de vie, par ta lumière nous voyons la lumière.
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.	11 Garde ton amour à ceux qui te connaissent, et ta justice aux coeurs droits.
12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.	12 Que le pied des superbes ne m'atteigne, que la main des impies ne me chasse!
	13 Les voilà tombés, les malfaisants, abattus sans pouvoir se relever.
