Psalms 148

KING JAMES BIBLE	NOVA VULGATA
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.	1 ALLELUIA. Laudate Dominum de caelis, laudate eum in excelsis.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.	2 Laudate eum, omnes angeli eius, laudate eum, omnes virtutes eius.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.	3 Laudate eum, sol et luna, laudate eum, omnes stellae lucentes.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.	4 Laudate eum, caeli caelorum et aquae omnes, quae super caelos sunt. -
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.	5 Laudent nomen Domini, quia ipse mandavit, et creata sunt;
6 He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.	6 statuit ea in aeternum et in saeculum saeculi; praeceptum posuit, et non praeteribit.
7 Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:	7 Laudate Dominum de terra, dracones et omnes abyssi,
8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:	8 ignis, grando, nix, fumus, spiritus procellarum, qui facit verbum eius,
9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:	9 montes et omnes colles, ligna fructifera et omnes cedri,
10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:	10 bestiae et universa pecora, serpentes et volucres pennatae.
11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:	11 Reges terrae et omnes populi, principes et omnes iudices terrae,
12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:	12 iuvenes et virgines, senes cum iunioribus
13 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.	13 laudent nomen Domini, quia exaltatum est nomen eius solius. Magnificentia eius super caelum et terram,
14 He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD.	14 et exaltavit cornu populi sui. Hymnus omnibus sanctis eius, filiis Israel, populo, qui propinquus est ei. ALLELUIA.
