1 The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.	1 Los descendientes de Leví fueron Gersón, Quehat y Merarí.
2 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.	2 Los nombres de los hijos de Gersón son los siguientes: Libní y Simí.
3 And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.	3 Los hijos de Quehat fueron Amram, Ishar, Hebrón y Uziel.
4 Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,	4 Los hijos de Merarí fueron Majlí y Musí. Estas son las familias de los levitas, agrupadas según sus padres.
5 And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,	5 El hijo de Gersón fue Libní; Iájat; el hijo de Iájat, Zimá;
6 And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,	6 el hijo de Zimá, Ioaj; el hijo de Ioaj, Idó; el hijo de Idó, Zéraj; el hijo de Zéraj, Ieotrai.
7 Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,	7 El hijo de Quehat fue Aminadab; el hijo de Aminadab, Coré; el hijo de Coré, Asir;
8 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,	8 el hijo de Asir, Elcaná; el hijo de Elcaná, Ebiasaf; el hijo de Ebiasaf, Asir;
9 And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,	9 el hijo de Asir, Tájat; el hijo de Tájat, Uriel; el hijo de Uriel, Ozías; el hijo de Ozías, Saúl.
10 And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)	10 Los hijos de Elcaná fueron Amasai y Ajimot.
11 And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,	11 El hijo de Ajimot fue Elcaná; el hijo de Elcaná, Sofai; el hijo de Sofai, Nájat;
12 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,	12 el hijo de Nájat, Eliab; el hijo de Eliab, Ierojam; el hijo de Ierojam, Elcaná; el hijo de Elcaná, Samuel.
13 And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,	13 Los hijos de Samuel fueron Joel, el primogénito, y Abías, el segundo.
14 And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,	14 El hijo de Merarí fue Majlí; el hijo de Majlí, Libní; el hijo de Libní, Simei; el hijo de Simei, Uzá,
15 And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.	15 El hijo de Uzá, Simá; el hijo de Zimá, Jaguías; el hijo de Jaguías, Asaías.
16 The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.	16 Estos son los cantores que puso David para dirigir el canto en la Casa del Señor, desde que el Arca descansó en ella.
17 And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.	17 Ellos servían como cantores ante la Morada –la Carpa del Encuentro– hasta que Salomón edificó el Templo del Señor en Jerusalén, y prestaban servicio conforme a su reglamento.
18 And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.	18 Los que ejercían ese ministerio y sus hijos son los siguientes: De los descendientes de Quehat: Hemán el cantor, hijo de Joel, hijo de Samuel,
19 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.	19 hijo de Elcaná, hijo de Ierojam, hijo de Eliel, hijo de Tóaj,
20 Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,	20 hijo de Sud, hijo de Elcaná, hijo de Májat, hijo de Amasai,
21 Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.	21 hijo de Elcaná, hijo de Joel, hijo de Azarías, hijo de Sefanías,
22 The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,	22 hijo de Tájat, hijo de Asir, hijo de Ebiasaf, hijo de Coré,
23 Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,	23 hijo de Ishar, hijo de Quehat, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel.
24 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.	24 Además, su hermano Asaf, que asistía a su derecha. Asaf era hijo de Berequías, hijo de Simá,
25 And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.	25 hijo de Micael, hijo de Baasías, hijo de Malquías,
26 As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,	26 hijo de Etní, hijo de Zéraj, hijo de Adaías,

28 And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.	28 hijo de Iájat, hijo de Gersón, hijo de Leví.
29 The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,	29 Los hijos de Merarí, sus hermanos, que asistían a su izquierda, eran Etán, hijo de Quisí, hijo de Abdí, hijo de Maluc,
30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.	30 Hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Amasías, hijo de Jilquías,
31 And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.	31 hijo de Amsí, hijo de Baní, hijo de Sémer,
32 And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.	32 hijo de Majlí, hijo de Musí, hijo de Merarí, hijo de Leví.
33 And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,	33 Sus hermanos, los levitas, estaban encargados de todo el servicio de la Morada de la Casa de Dios.

39 And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, even Asaph the son of Berachiah, the son of Shimea,	39 Estos son los lugares de residencia de los descendientes de Aarón, según los límites de sus campamentos: A los descendientes de Aarón, de la familia de los quehatitas –porque la suerte cayó primero sobre ellos –
40 The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,	40 se les dio Hebrón en el país de Judá, con sus campos de pastoreo vecinos;
41 The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,	41 pero el campo de la ciudad y sus poblados fueron dados a Caleb, hijo de Iefuné.

45 The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,	45 Y de la tribu de Benjamín, se les dio Gueba, Alémet y Anatot, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo. En total, sus ciudades fueron trece, distribuidas según sus familias.
46 The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,	46 A los otros hijos de Quehat les dieron por sorteo, conforme a sus familias, diez ciudades de la tribu de Efraím, de la tribu de Dan y de media tribu de Manasés.
47 The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.	47 A los hijos de Gersón, según sus familias, les correspondieron trece ciudades de la tribu de Isacar, de la tribu de Aser, de la tribu de Neftalí y de la tribu de Manasés en el Basán.
48 Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.	48 A los hijos de Merarí, según sus familias, les tocaron en suerte doce ciudades de la tribu de Rubén, de la tribu de Gad y de la tribu de Zabulón.
49 But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.	49 Los israelitas dieron a los levitas estas ciudades con sus campos de pastoreo.
50 And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,	50 Ellos les entregaron, mediante un sorteo, las ciudades de las tribus de Judá, de Simeón y de Benjamín antes mencionadas.
51 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,	51 A las otras familias de los descendientes de Quehat, les tocaron en suerte ciudades de la tribu de Efraím.
52 Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,	52 Les fueron asignadas las siguientes ciudades de refugio: Siquém, en la montaña de Efraím, Guézer,
53 Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.	53 Iocmeam, Bet Jorón,
54 Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.	54 Aialón y Gat Rimón, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
55 And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.	55 Y de la mitad de la tribu de Manasés les fueron asignadas Aner y Bilán, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo. Esto es lo que se dio a las familias de los otros hijos de Quehat.
56 But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.	56 A los hijos de Gersón, se les dio: de la mitad de la tribu de Manasés, Golán, en Basán, y Astarot, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,	57 De la tribu de Isacar, Cadés, Dobrat,
58 And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,	58 Ramot y Aném, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
59 And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:	59 De la tribu de Aser, Masal, Abdón,
60 And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.	60 Jucoc y Rejob, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
61 And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.	61 De la tribu de Neftalí, Quedes, en Galilea, Jamón y Quiriataim, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
62 And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.	62 A los demás hijos de Merarí, se les dio: de la tribu de Zabulón, Rimón y Tabor, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
63 Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.	63 De la tribu de Rubén, en la otra parte del Jordán, frente a Jericó, al este del Jordán: Béser en el desierto, Iahsa,
64 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.	64 Quedemot y Mefaat, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
65 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.	65 De la tribu de Gad, Ramot, en Galaad, Majanaim,
66 And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.	66 Jesbón y Iazer, con sus respectivos campos de pastoreo.
67 And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,
68 And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs,
69 And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs:
70 And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.
71 Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:
72 And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,
73 And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:
74 And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,
75 And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:
76 And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.
77 Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun. Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:
78 And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,
79 Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:
80 And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
81 And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
