Unto the end, in verses.
When I called upon him, the God of my justice heard me: when I was in distress, thou hast enlarged me.
O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? why do you love vanity, and seek after lying?3 Enfants des hommes, jusqu'à quand aurez-vous le cœur appesanti ? Pourquoi aimez-vous la vanité, et cherchez-vous le mensonge ?
Know ye also that the Lord hath made his holy one wonderful: the Lord will hear me when I shall cry unto him.4 Sachez donc que le Seigneur a (merveilleusement) glorifié son saint. Le Seigneur m'exaucera quand j'aurai crié vers lui.
Be angry, and sin not: the things you say in your hearts, be sorry for them upon your beds.5 Irritez-vous, mais ne péchez point.
Offer up the sacrifice of justice, and trust in the Lord: many say, Who sheweth us good things?6 Offrez un sacrifice de justice, et espérez au Seigneur.
In peace in the selfsame I will sleep, and I will rest:9 Et moi je dormirai et me reposerai en paix ;
for thou, O Lord, singularly hast settled me in hope.10 parce que vous, Seigneur, m'avez affermi dans une espérance singulière.
