Psalms 129

Douai-Rheims Pattloch Bibel
Blessed are all they that fear the Lord: that walk in his ways.1 [Ein Wallfahrtslied.]
For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.2 oft haben sie mich bedrängt von Jugend an; doch sie konnten mich nicht bezwingen.
Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house.3 Auf dem Rücken pflügten mir Pflüger, zogen ihre langen Furchen.
Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.4 Der Herr ist gerecht! Er zerschnitt die Stricke der Frevler.
May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayest thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.5 Beschämt weichen alle zurück, die Sion hassen!
