1 Der Herr sprach zu Mose:	1 This is what the LORD then said to Moses:
2 Sag zu den Israeliten, sie sollen für mich eine Abgabe erheben. Von jedem, den sein Sinn dazu bewegt, sollt ihr die Abgabe erheben.	2 "Tell the Israelites to take up a collection for me. From every man you shall accept the contribution that his heart prompts him to give me.
3 Das ist die Abgabe, die ihr von ihnen erheben sollt: Gold, Silber, Kupfer,	3 These are the contributions you shall accept from them: gold, silver and bronze;
4 violetten und roten Purpur, Karmesin, Byssus, Ziegenhaare,	4 violet, purple and scarlet yarn; fine linen and goat hair;
5 rötliche Widderfelle, Tahaschhäute und Akazienholz;	5 rams' skins dyed red, and tahash skins; acacia wood;
6 Öl für den Leuchter, Balsame für das Salböl und für duftendes Räucherwerk;	6 oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;
7 Karneolsteine und Ziersteine für Efod und Lostasche.	7 onyx stones and other gems for mounting on the ephod and the breastpiece.
8 Macht mir ein Heiligtum! Dann werde ich in ihrer Mitte wohnen.	8 "They shall make a sanctuary for me, that I may dwell in their midst.
9 Genau nach dem Muster der Wohnstätte und aller ihrer Gegenstände, das ich dir zeige, sollt ihr es herstellen.	9 This Dwelling and all its furnishings you shall make exactly according to the pattern that I will now show you.
10 Macht eine Lade aus Akazienholz, zweieinhalb Ellen lang, anderthalb Ellen breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch!	10 "You shall make an ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high.
11 Überzieh sie innen und außen mit purem Gold und bring daran ringsherum eine Goldleiste an!	11 Plate it inside and outside with pure gold, and put a molding of gold around the top of it.
12 Gieß für sie vier Goldringe und befestige sie an ihren vier Füßen, zwei Ringe an der einen Seite und zwei Ringe an der anderen Seite!	12 Cast four gold rings and fasten them on the four supports of the ark, two rings on one side and two on the opposite side.
13 Fertige Stangen aus Akazienholz an und überzieh sie mit Gold!	13 Then make poles of acacia wood and plate them with gold.
14 Steck die Stangen durch die Ringe an den Seiten der Lade, sodass man die Lade damit tragen kann.	14 These poles you are to put through the rings on the sides of the ark, for carrying it;
15 Die Stangen sollen in den Ringen der Lade bleiben; man soll sie nicht herausziehen.	15 they must remain in the rings of the ark and never be withdrawn.
16 In die Lade sollst du die Bundesurkunde legen, die ich dir gebe.	16 In the ark you are to put the commandments which I will give you.
17 Verfertige auch eine Deckplatte aus purem Gold zweieinhalb Ellen lang und anderthalb Ellen breit!	17 "You shall then make a propitiatory of pure gold, two cubits and a half long, and one and a half cubits wide.
18 Mach zwei Kerubim aus getriebenem Gold und arbeite sie an den beiden Enden der Deckplatte heraus!	18 Make two cherubim of beaten gold for the two ends of the propitiatory,
19 Mach je einen Kerub an dem einen und dem andern Ende; auf der Deckplatte macht die Kerubim an den beiden Enden!	19 fastening them so that one cherub springs direct from each end.
20 Die Kerubim sollen die Flügel nach oben ausbreiten, mit ihren Flügeln die Deckplatte beschirmen und sie sollen ihre Gesichter einander zuwenden; der Deckplatte sollen die Gesichter der Kerubim zugewandt sein.	20 The cherubim shall have their wings spread out above, covering the propitiatory with them; they shall be turned toward each other, but with their faces looking toward the propitiatory.
21 Setz die Deckplatte oben auf die Lade und in die Lade leg die Bundesurkunde, die ich dir gebe.	21 This propitiatory you shall then place on top of the ark. In the ark itself you are to put the commandments which I will give you.
22 Dort werde ich mich dir zu erkennen geben und dir über der Deckplatte zwischen den beiden Kerubim, die auf der Lade der Bundesurkunde sind, alles sagen, was ich dir für die Israeliten auftragen werde.	22 There I will meet you and there, from above the propitiatory, between the two cherubim on the ark of the commandments, I will tell you all the commands that I wish you to give the Israelites.
23 Fertige auch einen Tisch aus Akazienholz an, zwei Ellen lang, eine Elle breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch!	23 "You shall also make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high.
24 Überzieh ihn mit purem Gold und bring daran ringsherum eine Goldleiste an!	24 Plate it with pure gold and make a molding of gold around it.
25 Mach ihm ringsherum eine handbreite Einfassung und verfertige um diese Einfassung eine goldene Leiste!	25 Surround it with a frame, a handbreadth high, with a molding of gold around the frame.
26 Mach ihm vier Goldringe und befestige die Ringe an den vier Ecken, die von seinen vier Füßen gebildet werden.	26 You shall also make four rings of gold for it and fasten them at the four corners, one at each leg,
27 Die Ringe sollen dicht unter der Einfassung die Stangen aufnehmen, mit denen man den Tisch trägt.	27 on two opposite sides of the frame as holders for the poles to carry the table.
28 Mach die Stangen aus Akazienholz und überzieh sie mit Gold! Mit ihnen soll man den Tisch tragen.	28 These poles for carrying the table you shall make of acacia wood and plate with gold.
29 Dazu mach Schüsseln, Schalen, Kannen und Krüge für die Trankopfer! Aus purem Gold sollst du sie anfertigen.	29 Of pure gold you shall make its plates and cups, as well as its pitchers and bowls for pouring libations.
30 Auf dem Tisch sollst du ständig Schaubrote vor mir auflegen.	30 On the table you shall always keep showbread set before me.
31 Verfertige auch einen Leuchter aus purem Gold! Der Leuchter, sein Gestell, sein Schaft, seine Kelche, Knospen und Blüten sollen aus einem Stück getrieben sein.	31 "You shall make a lampstand of pure beaten gold-its shaft and branches-with its cups and knobs and petals springing directly from it.
32 Von seinen Seiten sollen sechs Arme ausgehen, drei Leuchterarme auf der einen Seite und drei auf der anderen Seite.	32 Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand, three branches on one side, and three on the other.
33 Der erste Arm soll drei mandelblütenförmige Kelche mit je einer Knospe und einer Blüte aufweisen und der zweite Arm soll drei mandelblütenförmige Kelche mit je einer Knospe und einer Blüte aufweisen; so alle sechs Arme, die von dem Leuchter ausgehen.	33 On one branch there are to be three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; on the opposite branch there are to be three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; and so for the six branches that extend from the lampstand.
34 Auf dem Schaft des Leuchters sollen vier mandelblütenförmige Kelche, Knospen und Blüten sein,	34 On the shaft there are to be four cups, shaped like almond blossoms, with their knobs and petals,
35 je eine Knospe unten zwischen zwei Armen, entsprechend den sechs Armen, die vom Leuchter ausgehen.	35 including a knob below each of the three pairs of branches that extend from the lampstand.
36 Seine Knospen und die Arme sollen ein Ganzes mit dem Schaft bilden; das Ganze soll ein Stück aus getriebenem purem Gold sein.	36 Their knobs and branches shall so spring from it that the whole will form but a single piece of pure beaten gold.
37 Dann mach für den Leuchter sieben Lampen und setze seine Lampen so auf, dass sie das Licht nach vorn fallen lassen;	37 You shall then make seven lamps for it and so set up the lamps that they shed their light on the space in front of the lampstand.
38 dazu Dochtscheren und Pfannen aus purem Gold.	38 These, as well as the trimming shears and trays, must be of pure gold.
39 Aus einem Talent puren Goldes soll man den Leuchter und alle diese Geräte machen.	39 Use a talent of pure gold for the lampstand and all its appurtenances.
40 Sieh zu, dass du ihn nach dem Muster ausführst, das du auf dem Berg gesehen hast.	40 See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.
