NEW AMERICAN BIBLEDOUAI-RHEIMS
Come, let us sing joyfully to the LORD; cry out to the rock of our salvation.1 Come let us praise the Lord with joy: let us joyfully sing to God our saviour.
Let us greet him with a song of praise, joyfully sing out our psalms.2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
For the LORD is the great God, the great king over all gods,3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Whose hand holds the depths of the earth; who owns the tops of the mountains.4 For in his hand are all the ends of the earth: and the heights of the mountains are his.
The sea and dry land belong to God, who made them, formed them by hand.5 For the sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
Enter, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us.6 Come let us adore and fall down: and weep before the Lord that made us.
For this is our God, whose people we are, God's well-tended flock. Oh, that today you would hear his voice:7 For he is the Lord our God: and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.
Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as on the day of Massah in the desert.8 To day if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts:
There your ancestors tested me; they tried me though they had seen my works.9 As in the provocation, according to the day of temptation in the wilderness: where your fathers tempted me, they proved me, and saw my works.
Forty years I loathed that generation; I said: "This people's heart goes astray; they do not know my ways."10 Forty years long was I offended with that generation, and I said: These always err in heart.
Therefore I swore in my anger: "They shall never enter my rest."11 And these men have not known my ways: so I swore in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest.
