1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core, a psalm.	1 [Für den Chormeister. Ein Psalm der Korachiter.]
2 Lord, thou hast blessed thy land: thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob.	2 Einst hast du, Herr, dein Land begnadet und Jakobs Unglück gewendet,
3 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people: thou hast covered all their sins.	3 hast deinem Volk die Schuld vergeben, all seine Sünden zugedeckt, [Sela]
4 Thou hast mitigated all thy anger: thou best turned away from the wrath of thy indignation.	4 hast zurückgezogen deinen ganzen Grimm und deinen glühenden Zorn gedämpft.
5 Convert us, O God our saviour: and turn off thy anger from us.	5 Gott, unser Retter, richte uns wieder auf, lass von deinem Unmut gegen uns ab!
6 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever: or wilt thou extend thy wrath from generation to generation?	6 Willst du uns ewig zürnen, soll dein Zorn dauern von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht?
7 Thou wilt turn, O God, and bring us to life: and thy people shall rejoice in thee.	7 Willst du uns nicht wieder beleben, sodass dein Volk sich an dir freuen kann?
8 Shew us, O Lord, thy mercy; and grant us thy salvation.	8 Erweise uns, Herr, deine Huld und gewähre uns dein Heil!
9 I will hear what the Lord God will speak in me: for he will speak peace unto his people: And unto his saints: and unto them that are converted to the heart.	9 Ich will hören, was Gott redet: Frieden verkündet der Herr seinem Volk und seinen Frommen, den Menschen mit redlichem Herzen. [Sela]
10 Surely his salvation is near to them that fear him: that glory may dwell in our land.	10 Sein Heil ist denen nahe, die ihn fürchten. Seine Herrlichkeit wohne in unserm Land.
11 Mercy and truth have met each other: justice and peace have kissed.	11 Es begegnen einander Huld und Treue; Gerechtigkeit und Friede küssen sich.
12 Truth is sprung out of the earth: and justice hath looked down from heaven.	12 Treue sprosst aus der Erde hervor; Gerechtigkeit blickt vom Himmel hernieder.
13 For the Lord will give goodness: and our earth shall yield her fruit.	13 Auch spendet der Herr dann Segen und unser Land gibt seinen Ertrag.
14 Justice shall walk before him: and shall set his steps in the way.	14 Gerechtigkeit geht vor ihm her und Heil folgt der Spur seiner Schritte.
