Osea 8

BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Nella tua gola ci sia una tromba, come aquila sopra la casa del Signore; perchè essi han trasgredita la mia alleanza, ed han prevaricato contro la mia legge.	1 Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle, disaster is swooping on Yahweh's home! Because they haveviolated my covenant and been unfaithful to my Law,
2 Mi sgrideranno: « Mio Dio, ti abbiadmo riconosciuto, noi, Israele ».	2 in vain wil they cry, 'My God!' In vain, 'We, Israel, know you!'
3 Israele ha gettato via il bene, e lo perseguiterà il nemico.	3 Israel has rejected the good, the enemy will pursue them.
4 Essi regnarono, ma non per me; furono principi, ma non li riconobbi; col loro argento e col loro oro si cfecero degli idoli, por la loro ropvina.	4 They have set up kings, but without my consent, and appointed princes, but without my knowledge.With their silver and gold, they have made themselves idols, but only to be destroyed.
5 Il tuo vitello è statò gettato per terra, o Samaria, contro di essi si è acceso il mio furore. E fino a quando non potranno purificarsi?	5 I spurn your calf, Samaria! My anger blazes against them! How long wil it be before they recover theirinnocence?
6 Anche lui infatti viene da Israele, un artefice l'ha fatto, e non è Dio: infatti sarà come tela di ragno il vitello di Samaria.	6 For it is the product of Israel- a craftsman made the thing, it is no god at al ! The calf of Samaria wil bebroken to pieces!
7 Semineranno vento, e raccoglieranno tempesta. Non vi sarà spiga che stia ritta, e i granelli non daran farina, e se la dessero, la mangerebbero gli stranieri.	7 Since they sow the wind, they will reap the whirlwind; stalk without ear, it wil never yield flour- or if itdoes, foreigners will swallow it.
8 Israele è stato divorato, ed ora è divenuto fra le nazioni come un vaso immondo.	8 Israel has himself been swal owed; now they are lost among the nations like something no one wants,
9 Essi sono andati verso gli Assiri: l'asino selvatico vive solitario per sè, Efraim ha dato doni agli amanti.	9 for having made approaches to Assyria- like a wild donkey, al alone. Ephraim has rented lovers

On the contrary, he wilremember their guilt and punish their sins; they wil have to go back to Egypt.
14 Israele s'è dimenticato del suo creatore ed ha costruito dei templi, mentre Giuda ha moltiplicate le città forti; ma io metterò il fuoco nelle sue citià, e saran divorati i suoi palazzi.	14 Israel has forgotten his Maker and has built palaces, while Judah keeps on building fortified towns; butI shal send fire down on his cities to devour their citadels.
