1 (Salmo. Cantico dei figli di Core. Pel secondo giorno della settimana).	1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core.
2 Il Signore è grande e sommamente degno di lode, nella città del nostro Dio, sulla sua santa montagna.	2 O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of Joy,
3 A gioia di tutta la terra è stato fondato il monte di Sion, l'angolo settentrionale, la città del gran re.	3 For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.
4 Il Signore si fa conoscere nelle sue case, quando ne prende la difesa.	4 He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.
5 Ecco, i re della terra si radunarono, si avanzarono uniti.	5 He hath chosen for us his inheritance the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved.
6 Ma appena videro rimasero attoniti, si smarrirono, si dettero alla fuga.	6 God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.
7 Li prese il terrore, con doglie come di partoriente.	7 Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.
8 Con vento impetuoso hai fracassate le navi di Tarsis.	8 For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.
9 Come avevamo sentito dire, così abbiamo visto nella città del Signore degli eserciti, nella città del nostro Dio: Dio l'ha resa stabile in eterno.	9 God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.
10 Abbiamo, o Signore, ricevuta la tua misericordia in mezzo al tuo tempio.	10 The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted.
11 Come il tuo nome, o Dio, così la tua lode giunge agli ultimi confini del mondo. La tua destra è piena di giustizia.
12 Si rallegra il monte di Sion ed esultano le figlie di Giuda a motivo dei tuoi giudizi, o Signore.
13 Percorrete Sion, fatene il giro, contatene le torri.
14 Consideratene attentamente la forza, enumeratene i palazzi, per parlarne alle future generazioni.
15 Perchè qui è Dio, il nostro Dio: in eterno, per tutti i secoli Egli sarà nostra guida. Per sempre.
