1 This is to David, when his land was restored to him. The Lord has reigned, let the earth exult. Let the many islands rejoice.	1 Cantate al Signore un canto nuovo,cantate al Signore, uomini di tutta la terra.
2 Clouds and mist are all around him. Justice and judgment are corrections from his throne.	2 Cantate al Signore, benedite il suo nome,annunciate di giorno in giorno la sua salvezza.
3 A fire will precede him, and it will enflame his enemies all around.	3 In mezzo alle genti narrate la sua gloria,a tutti i popoli dite le sue meraviglie.
4 His lightnings have enlightened the whole world. The earth saw, and it was shaken.	4 Grande è il Signore e degno di ogni lode,terribile sopra tutti gli dèi.
5 The mountains flowed like wax before the face of the Lord, before the face of the Lord of all the earth.	5 Tutti gli dèi dei popoli sono un nulla,il Signore invece ha fatto i cieli.
6 The heavens announced his justice, and all peoples saw his glory.	6 Maestà e onore sono davanti a lui,forza e splendore nel suo santuario.
7 May all those who adore graven images be confounded, along with those who glory in their false images. All you his Angels: Adore him.	7 Date al Signore, o famiglie dei popoli,date al Signore gloria e potenza,
8 Zion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Judah exulted because of your judgments, O Lord.	8 date al Signore la gloria del suo nome.Portate offerte ed entrate nei suoi atri,
9 For you are the Most High Lord over all the earth. You are greatly exalted above all gods.	9 prostratevi al Signore nel suo atrio santo.Tremi davanti a lui tutta la terra.
10 You who love the Lord: hate evil. The Lord watches over the souls of his holy ones. He will free them from the hand of the sinner.	10 Dite tra le genti: «Il Signore regna!».È stabile il mondo, non potrà vacillare!Egli giudica i popoli con rettitudine.
11 The light has risen for the just, and joy for the upright of heart.	11 Gioiscano i cieli, esulti la terra,risuoni il mare e quanto racchiude;
12 Rejoice in the Lord, you just ones, and confess to the memory of his sanctuary.	12 sia in festa la campagna e quanto contiene,acclamino tutti gli alberi della foresta
	13 davanti al Signore che viene:sì, egli viene a giudicare la terra;giudicherà il mondo con giustiziae nella sua fedeltà i popoli.
