| 7 Allora la pace di Dio, che sorpassa ogni preoccupazione umana, veglierà, in Cristo Gesù, sui vostri cuori e sui vostri pensieri. | 7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. |
| 8 Per il resto, fratelli, quanto c'è di vero, nobile, giusto, puro, amabile, lodevole; quanto c'è di virtuoso e merita plauso, questo attiri la vostra attenzione. | 8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. |
| 9 Mettete in pratica quello che avete imparato, ricevuto, udito e visto in me. E il Dio della pace sarà con voi. | 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace will be with you. |
| 10 Mi sono molto rallegrato nel Signore a vedere finalmente rifiorire i vostri sentimenti per me; certamente li coltivavate anche prima, ma vi mancava l'occasione. | 10 I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me; you were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. |

In ogni tempo e in tutti i modi, sono stato iniziato ad essere sazio e a soffrire la fame, a vivere nell'agiatezza e nelle privazioni. | 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound; in any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want. |

| 18 Ricevo tutto e sto nell'abbondanza: sono ricolmo avendo avuto da Epafrodito i vostri doni, profumo soave, sacrificio gradito, che piace a Dio. | 18 I have received full payment, and more; I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. |
| 19 Il mio Dio soddisferà ogni vostro bisogno in proporzione della sua ricchezza, in Cristo Gesù. | 19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. |
