| 3 Perocché molti ne ha rovinati l'oro, e l'argento, il quale è giunto a pervertire anche i regi. | 3 Do not argue with a chatterer, nor heap wood on his fire. |
| 4 Non contendere con uom linguacciuto, e non metter legna sul fuoco di lui. | 4 Do not jest with an ill-bred person, lest your ancestors be disgraced. |
