| 2 E fecele all'intorno una corona d'oro; | 2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a molding of gold around it. |
| 3 Formò di getto quattro anelli d'oro pe' suoi quattro angoli: due anelli da un lato, e due dall'altro. | 3 And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four corners, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side. |
| 4 E fece di legno di setim le stanghe, le quali rivestì d'oro, | 4 And he made poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold, |
| 5 E le fece passare per gli anelli, che erano a' lati dell'arca, perché questa potesse portarsi. | 5 and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, to carry the ark. |
| 6 Fece anche il propiziatorio, cioè l'oracolo d'oro purissimo: era lungo due cubiti e mezzo, e largo un cubito e mezzo. | 6 And he made a mercy seat of pure gold; two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. |
| 7 E di più due cherubini d'oro lavorato al martello, i quali pose a' due lati del propiziatorio: | 7 And he made two cherubim of hammered gold; on the two ends of the mercy seat he made them, |
| 8 Un cherubino all'estremità d'un lato, e un altro cherubino all'estremità dell'altro lato: questi due cherubini all'una e all'altra estremità del propiziatorio. | 8 one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end; of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim on its two ends. |
| 9 Stendevano le ale e coprivano il propiziatorio, e quello e sé stessi scambievolmente guardavano. | 9 The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim. |
| 10 Fece anche una mensa di legno di setim lunga due cubiti, e larga un cubito, che avea di altezza un cubito e mezzo: | 10 He also made the table of acacia wood; two cubits was its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height; |
| 11 E la coperse tutta di purissimo oro, e le fece all'intorno una cornice d'oro, | 11 and he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it. |
| 12 E sopra la cornice una corona d’oro, parte piana, parte scolpita di quattro dita, e sopra questa un'altra corona d'oro. | 12 And he made around it a frame a handbreadth wide, and made a molding of gold around the frame. |
| 13 Fece anche quattro anelli d'oro, e li pose a' quattro angoli, uno ad ogni piede della mensa | 13 He cast for it four rings of gold, and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs. |
| 14 Dirimpetto alla corona, e fece passar per essi le stanghe, affinché potesse portarsi la mensa. | 14 Close to the frame were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table. |
| 15 Fece anche le stanghe medesime di legno di setim, e le coperse d'oro. | 15 He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold. |
| 16 E (fece) i vasi pe' diversi usi della mensa, scodelle, ampolle, coppe, e turiboli d'oro purissimo, e vasi da offerire le libagioni. | 16 And he made the vessels of pure gold which were to be upon the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour libations. |
| 17 Fece anche il candelabro d'oro finissimo lavorato al martello; dal fusto del quale uscivano i suoi bracci con le coppe, e le piccole sfere, e i gigli: | 17 He also made the lampstand of pure gold. The base and the shaft of the lampstand were made of hammered work; its cups, its capitals, and its flowers were of one piece with it. |
| 18 Sei (bracci) da tutti due i lati, tre dall'altra parte, e tre dall'altra: | 18 And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; |
| 19 Ad ogni braccio tre coppe in forma di noce, e le piccole sfere, e i gigli: e all'altro ramo tre coppe in forma di noce, e le piccole sfere, e i gigli. Eguale era il lavoro de' suoi rami, che uscivano dal fusto del candelabro. | 19 three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almonds, each with capital and flower, on the other branch --so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. |
| 20 E lo stesso fusto avea quattro coppe in forma di noce, e ognuna di esse avea le sue piccole sfere, e i gigli: | 20 And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almonds, with their capitals and flowers, |
| 21 E tre piccole sfere in tre luoghi, da ognuna delle quali uscivano due rami, ed erano tutti insieme sei rami, che uscivano da un sol fusto: | 21 and a capital of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it. |
| 22 E le piccole sfere adunque, e i rami erano dello stesso corpo (del fusto); e ogni cosa d'oro purissimo lavorato al martello. | 22 Their capitals and their branches were of one piece with it; the whole of it was one piece of hammered work of pure gold. |
| 23 Fece anche sette lucerne colle sue smoccolatoie, e i vasi, dove si estingue la moccolaia, d'oro finissimo. | 23 And he made its seven lamps and its snuffers and its trays of pure gold. |
| 24 Il candelliere con tutti gl'istrumenti suoi pesava un talento d'oro. | 24 He made it and all its utensils of a talent of pure gold. |
| 25 Fece anche l'altare de' timiami di legno di setim che avea in quadro un cubito, ed era alto due cubiti; dagli angoli del quale uscivan le corna. | 25 He made the altar of incense of acacia wood; its length was a cubit, and its breadth was a cubit; it was square, and two cubits was its height; its horns were of one piece with it. |
| 26 E lo ricoperse di finissimo oro, come pure la graticola, e le pareti, e le corna. | 26 He overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides round about, and its horns; and he made a molding of gold round about it, |
| 27 E fecegli tutt'all'intorno una corona d'oro, e due anelli d'oro a un lato, e all'altro sotto la corona per farvi passare le stanghe da portare l'altare. | 27 and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it. |
| 28 E le stanghe ancora le formò di legno di setim, e le coperse con lame d'oro. | 28 And he made the poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with gold. |
| 29 Fece anche la composizione dell'olio per le unzioni, e le santificazioni, e il timiama di aromi squisitissimi secondo l'arte de' profumieri. | 29 He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer. |
