JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Des fils de Coré.Psaume. Cantique. Sa fondation sur les montagnes saintes,	1 [Of the sons of Korah Psalm Song] With its foundations on the holy mountains,
2 Yahvé la chérit, préférant les portes de Sion à toute demeure de Jacob.	2 Yahweh loves his city, he prefers the gates of Zion to any dwel ing-place in Jacob.
3 Il parle de toi pour ta gloire, cité de Dieu:	3 He speaks of glory for you, city of God,Pause
4 "Je compte Rahab et Babylone parmi ceux qui me connaissent, voyez Tyr, la Philistie ou l'Ethiopie,un tel y est né."	4 'I number Rahab and Babylon among those that acknowledge me; look at Tyre, Philistia, Ethiopia, soand so was born there.'
5 Mais de Sion l'on dira: "Tout homme y est né" et celui qui l'affermit, c'est le Très-Haut.	5 But of Zion it wil be said, 'Every one was born there,' her guarantee is the Most High.
6 Yahvé inscrit au registre les peuples: "Un tel y est né",	6 Yahweh in his register of peoples wil note against each, 'Born there',Pause
7 et les princes, comme les enfants. Tous font en toi leur demeure.	7 princes no less than native-born; all make their home in you.
