2 Cuando los zifitas vinieron a decir a Saúl: «¿No está escondido David entre nosotros?».	2 when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, "David is hiding among us."
3 Oh Dios, sálvame por tu nombre, | sal por mí con tu poder.	3 O God, by your name save me. By your strength defend my cause.
4 Oh Dios, escucha mi súplica, | atiende a mis palabras;	4 O God, hear my prayer. Listen to the words of my mouth.
5 porque unos insolentes se alzan contra mí, | y hombres violentos me persiguen a muerte, | sin tener presente a Dios. (Pausa)	5 The arrogant have risen against me; the ruthless seek my life; they do not keep God before them. Selah
6 Pero Dios es mi auxilio, | el Señor sostiene mi vida.	6 God is present as my helper; the Lord sustains my life.
7 Devuelve el mal a mis adversarios, | destrúyelos por tu fidelidad.	7 Turn back the evil upon my foes; in your faithfulness, destroy them.
8 Te ofreceré un sacrificio voluntario, | dando gracias a tu nombre, que es bueno;	8 Then I will offer you generous sacrifice and praise your gracious name, LORD,
9 porque me libraste del peligro, | y he visto la derrota de mis enemigos.	9 Because it has rescued me from every trouble, and my eyes look down on my foes.
