Biblia Sagrada	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ¿Por qué se amotinan las naciones, | y los pueblos planean un fracaso?	1 Why this uproar among the nations, this impotent muttering of the peoples?
2 Se alían los reyes de la tierra, | los príncipes conspiran | contra el Señor y contra su Mesías:	2 Kings of the earth take up position, princes plot together against Yahweh and his anointed,
3 «Rompamos sus coyundas, | sacudamos su yugo».	3 'Now let us break their fetters! Now let us throw off their bonds!'
4 El que habita en el cielo sonríe, | el Señor se burla de ellos.	4 He who is enthroned in the heavens laughs, Yahweh makes a mockery of them,
5 Luego les habla con ira, | los espanta con su cólera:	5 then in his anger rebukes them, in his rage he strikes them with terror.
6 «Yo mismo he establecido a mi Rey | en Sión, mi monte santo».	6 'I myself have anointed my king on Zion my holy mountain.'
7 Voy a proclamar el decreto del Señor; | él me ha dicho: «Tú eres mi hijo: | yo te he engendrado hoy.	7 I wil proclaim the decree of Yahweh: He said to me, 'You are my son, today have I fathered you.
8 Pídemelo: | te daré en herencia las naciones; | en posesión, los confines de la tierra:	8 Ask of me, and I shal give you the nations as your birthright, the whole wide world as your possession.
9 los gobernarás con cetro de hierro, | los quebrarás como jarro de loza».	9 With an iron sceptre you wil break them, shatter them like so many pots.'
10 Y ahora, reyes, sed sensatos; | escarmentad, los que regís la tierra:	10 So now, you kings, come to your senses, you earthly rulers, learn your lesson!
11 servid al Señor con temor,	11 In fear be submissive to Yahweh;
12 rendidle homenaje temblando; | aprended la enseñanza, | no sea que se irrite y vayáis a la ruina, | porque se inflama de pronto su ira. | ¡Dichosos los que se refugian en él!	12 with trembling kiss his feet, lest he be angry and your way come to nothing, for his fury flares up in amoment. How blessed are al who take refuge in him!
