| 3 Habla tú mismo con todos los artesanos a quienes he dotado de habilidad para que confeccionen los ornamentos de Aarón, a fin de consagrarle sacerdote mío. | 3 Therefore, to the various expert workmen whom I have endowed with skill, you shall give instructions to make such vestments for Aaron as will set him apart for his sacred service as my priest. |
| 4 Estos son los ornamentos que han de confeccionar: pectoral, efod, manto, túnica bordada, turbante y banda. Harán, pues, ornamentos sagrados para tu hermano Aarón y sus hijos, a fin de que me sirvan como sacerdotes. | 4 These are the vestments they shall make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a brocaded tunic, a miter and a sash. In making these sacred vestments which your brother Aaron and his sons are to wear in serving as my priests, |
| 5 Usarán oro, púrpura violácea, roja y escarlata, y lino fino. | 5 they shall use gold, violet, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen. |

| 12 Colocarás las dos piedras sobre las hombreras del efod, como piedras recordatorio de los hijos de Israel. Aarón llevará sus nombres sobre las hombreras como recordatorio ante el Señor. | 12 Set these two stones on the shoulder straps of the ephod as memorial stones of the sons of Israel. Thus Aaron shall bear their names on his shoulders as a reminder before the LORD. |

| 30 En el pectoral de las suertes, pondrás los urim y los tumim, que estarán sobre el corazón de Aarón cuando se presente ante el Señor. Llevará, pues, Aarón constantemente sobre su corazón, en presencia del Señor, las suertes de los hijos de Israel. | 30 In this breastpiece of decision you shall put the Urim and Thummim, that they may be over Aaron's heart whenever he enters the presence of the LORD. Thus he shall always bear the decisions for the Israelites over his heart in the LORD'S presence. |
| 31 Confeccionarás el manto del efod, todo él de púrpura violácea. | 31 "The robe of the ephod you shall make entirely of violet material. |
| 32 Llevará en el centro una abertura para la cabeza, con un dobladillo alrededor, como la abertura de un coselete, para que no se rasgue. | 32 It shall have an opening for the head in the center, and around this opening there shall be a selvage, woven as at the opening of a shirt, to keep it from being torn. |

| 36 Harás también una diadema de oro puro, y grabarás en ella, como en un sello: “Consagrado al Señor”. | 36 "You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, as on a seal engraving, 'Sacred to the LORD.' |
| 37 La sujetarás al turbante, por su parte delantera, con un cordón de púrpura violácea. | 37 This plate is to be tied over the miter with a violet ribbon in such a way that it rests on the front of the miter, |
| 38 Estará sobre la frente de Aarón, pues Aarón cargará con la culpa en que hayan incurrido los hijos de Israel al hacer sus ofrendas sagradas. La llevará siempre sobre su frente para reconciliarlos con el Señor. | 38 over Aaron's forehead. Since Aaron bears whatever guilt the Israelites may incur in consecrating any of their sacred gifts, this plate must always be over his forehead, so that they may find favor with the LORD. |
| 39 Tejerás la túnica con lino y con lino harás el turbante, pero la banda estará recamada. | 39 "The tunic of fine linen shall be brocaded. The miter shall be made of fine linen. The sash shall be of variegated work. |

| 42 Hazles también calzones de lino que les cubran su desnudez, de la cintura a los muslos. | 42 You must also make linen drawers for them, to cover their naked flesh from their loins to their thighs. |
| 43 Aarón y sus hijos los llevarán cuando entren en la Tienda del Encuentro o cuando se acerquen al altar para oficiar; así no incurrirán en culpa y no morirán. Esta es una ley perpetua para él y sus descendientes. | 43 Aaron and his sons shall wear them whenever they go into the meeting tent or approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary, lest they incur guilt and die. This shall be a perpetual ordinance for him and for his descendants. |
