1 Canto. Salmo de David.	1 A Song. A Psalm of David. My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody! Awake, my soul!
2 Mi corazón está firme, Dios mío, mi corazón está firme. Voy a cantar al son de instrumentos: ¡despierta, alma mía!	2 Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn!
3 ¡Despierten, arpa y cítara, para que yo despierte a la aurora!	3 I will give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the peoples, I will sing praises to thee among the nations.
4 Te alabaré en medio de los pueblos, Señor, te cantaré entre las naciones,	4 For thy steadfast love is great above the heavens, thy faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
5 porque tu misericordia se eleva hasta el cielo y tu fidelidad hasta las nubes.	5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let thy glory be over all the earth!
6 ¡Levántate, Dios, por encima del cielo, y que tu gloria cubra toda la tierra!	6 That thy beloved may be delivered, give help by thy right hand, and answer me!
7 ¡Sálvanos con tu poder, respóndenos, para que se pongan a salvo tus predilectos!	7 God has promised in his sanctuary: "With exultation I will divide up Shechem, and portion out the Vale of Succoth.
8 Dios habló desde su Santuario: «Yo repartiré triunfalmente a Siquem y distribuiré el valle de Sucot.	8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet; Judah my scepter.
9 Mío es Galaad, Manasés me pertenece, Efraím es mi yelmo, mi cetro es Judá.	9 Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph."
10 Moab es la vasija donde yo me lavo; plantaré mis sandalias en Edom y cantaré victoria sobre Filistea».	10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
11 ¿Quién me llevará hasta la ciudad fortificada, quién me conducirá hasta Edom,	11 Hast thou not rejected us, O God? Thou dost not go forth, O God, with our armies.
12 si tú, oh Dios, nos has rechazado y ya no sales con nuestro ejército?	12 O grant us help against the foe, for vain is the help of man!
13 Danos tu ayuda contra el adversario, porque es inútil el auxilio de los hombres.	13 With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
14 Con Dios alcanzaremos la victoria, y él aplastará a nuestros enemigos.
