Zacarías 4

BIBLIA	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Volvió el ángel que hablaba conmigo y me despertó como a un hombre que es despertado de su sueño.	1 Then the angel who spoke with me returned and awakened me, like a man awakened from his sleep.
2 Y me dijo: «¿Qué ves?» Dije: «Veo un candelabro todo de oro, con una ampolla en su vértice: tiene siete lámparas y siete boquillas para las siete lámparas que lleva encima.	2 "What do you see?" he asked me. "I see a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl at the top," I replied; "on it are seven lamps with their tubes,
3 Hay también dos olivos junto a él, uno a su derecha y el otro a su izquierda».	3 and beside it are two olive trees, one on the right and the other on the left."
4 Proseguí y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué es esto, señor mío?»	4 Then I said to the angel who spoke with me, "What are these things, my lord?"
5 Me respondió el ángel que hablaba conmigo y me dijo: «¿No sabes qué es esto?» Dije: «No, mi señor».	5 And the angel who spoke with me replied, "Do you not know what these things are?" "No, my lord," I answered.
6 Prosiguió él y me habló así: Esta es la palabra de Yahveh a Zorobabel. No por el valor ni por la fuerza, sino sólo por mi Espíritu - dice Yahveh Sebaot -.	6 Then he said to me, "This is the LORD'S message to Zerubbabel: Not by an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
7 ¿Quién eres tú, gran monte? Ante Zorobabel serás una explanada, y él extraerá la piedra de remate, a los gritos de «¡Bravo, bravo por ella!».	7 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you are but a plain. He shall bring out the capstone amid exclamations of 'Hail, Hail' to it."
8 Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahveh en estos términos:	8 This word of the LORD then came to me:
9 Las manos de Zorobabel echaron el cimiento a esta Casa y sus manos la acabarán; (sabréis así que Yahveh Sebaot me ha enviado a vosotros).	9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundations of this house, and his hands shall finish it; then you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.
10 ¿Quién menospreció el día de los modestos comienzos? ¡Se alegrará al ver la plomada en la mano de Zorobabel! «Esos siete son los ojos de Yahveh: ellos recorren toda la tierra».	10 For even they who were scornful on that day of small beginnings shall rejoice to see the select stone in the hands of Zerubbabel. These seven facets are the eyes of the LORD that range over the whole earth.
11 Entonces tomé la palabra y le dije: «¿Qué son esos dos olivos a derecha e izquierda del candelabro?»	11 I then asked him, "What are these two olive trees at each side of the lampstand?"
12 (Añadí de nuevo y le dije: «¿Qué son las dos ramas de olivo que por los dos tubos de oro vierten de sí aceite dorado?»)	12 And again I asked, "What are the two olive tufts which freely pour out fresh oil through the two golden channels?"
13 El me habló y dijo: «¿No sabes qué es esto?» Dije: «No, mi señor».	13 "Do you not know what these are?" he said to me. "No, my lord," I answered him.
14 Y él me dijo: «Estos son los dos Ungidos que están en pie junto al Señor de toda la tierra».	14 He said, "These are the two anointed who stand by the LORD of the whole earth."
