1 Manda acercarse a ti de en medio de los israelitas a tu hermano Aarón, con sus hijos, para que ejerza mi sacerdocio: Aarón, con Nadab y Abihú, Eleazar e Itamar, hijos de Aarón.	1 Take unto thee also Aaron thy brother with his sons, from among the children of Israel, that they may minister to me in the priest's office: Aaron, Nadab, and Abiu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Harás para Aarón, tu hermano, vestiduras sagradas, que le den majestad y esplendor.	2 And thou shalt make a holy vesture for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
3 Hablarás tú con todos los artesanos hábiles a quienes he llenado de espíritu de sabiduría; ellos harán las vestiduras de Aarón para que sea consagrado sacerdote mío.	3 And thou shalt speak to all the wise of heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's vestments, in which he being consecrated may minister to me.
4 Harán las vestiduras siguientes: un pectoral, un efod, un manto, una túnica bordada, una tiara y una faja. Harán, pues, a tu hermano Aarón y a sus hijos vestiduras sagradas para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio.	4 And these shall be the vestments that they shall make: A rational and an ephod, a tunick and a strait linen garment, a mitre and a girdle. They shall make the holy vestments for thy brother Aaron and his sons, that they may do the office of priesthood unto me.
5 Tomarán para ello oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí y lino fino.	5 And they shall take gold, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen.
6 Bordarán el efod de oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí y lino fino torzal.	6 And they shall make the ephod of gold, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen, embroidered with divers colours.
7 Se le pondrán dos hombreras y se fijará por sus dos extremos.	7 It shall have the two edges joined in the top on both sides, that they may be closed together.
8 La cinta con que se ciña el efod será de la misma hechura y formará con él una misma pieza: de oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí y lino fino torzal.	8 The very workmanship also and all the variety of the work shall be of gold, and violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.
9 Tomarás dos piedras de ónice, sobre las cuales grabarás los nombres de los hijos de Israel:	9 And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and shalt grave on them the names of the children of Israel:
10 seis de sus nombres en una piedra y los seis restantes en la otra, por orden de nacimiento.	10 Six names on one stone, and the other six on the other, according to the order of their birth.
11 Como se tallan las piedras y se graban los sellos, así harás grabar esas dos piedras con los nombres de los hijos de Israel; las harás engarzar en engastes de oro.	11 With the work of an engraver and the graving of a jeweller, thou shalt engrave them with the names of the children of Israel, set in gold and compassed about:
12 Después pondrás las dos piedras sobre las hombreras del efod, como piedras que me hagan recordar a los hijos de Israel, y así llevará Aarón sus nombres sobre sus dos hombros para recuerdo delante de Yahveh.	12 And thou shalt put them in both sides of the ephod, a memorial for the children of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord upon both shoulders, for a remembrance.
13 Harás engarces de oro;	13 Thou shalt make also hooks of gold.
14 y también dos cadenillas de oro puro; las harás trenzadas a manera de cordones, y fijarás las cadenillas trenzadas en los engarces.	14 And two little chains of the purest gold linked one to another, which thou shalt put into the hooks.
15 Bordarás también el pectoral del juicio; lo harás al estilo de la labor del efod. Lo harás de oro, púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino torzal.	15 And thou shalt make the rational of judgment with embroidered work of divers colours, according to the workmanship of the ephod, of gold, violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.
16 Será cuadrado y doble, de un palmo de largo y otro de ancho.	16 It shall be foursquare and doubled: it shall be the measure of a span both in length and in breadth.
17 Lo llenarás de pedrería, poniendo cuatro filas de piedras: en la primera fila, un sardio, un topacio y una esmeralda;	17 And thou shalt set in it four rows of stones: in the first row shall be a sardius stone, and a topaz, and an emerald:
18 en la segunda fila, un rubí, un zafiro y un diamante;	18 In the second a carbuncle, a sapphire and a jasper.
19 en la tercera fila, un ópalo, una ágata y una amatista;	19 In the third a ligurius, an agate, and an amethyst:
20 en la cuarta fila, un crisólito, un ónice y un jaspe; todas estarán engastadas en oro.	20 In the fourth a chrysolite, an onyx, and a beryl. They shall be set in gold by their rows.
21 Las piedras corresponderán a los nombres de los hijos de Israel: doce, como los nombres de ellos. Estarán grabadas como los sellos, cada una con su nombre, conforme a las doce tribus.	21 And they shall have the names of the children of Israel: with twelve names shall they be engraved, each stone with the name of one according to the twelve tribes.
22 Para el pectoral harás cadenillas de oro puro, trenzadas a manera de cordones;	22 And thou shalt make on the rational chains linked one to another of the purest gold:
23 y harás también para el pectoral dos anillas de oro que fijarás en sus dos extremos.	23 And two rings of gold, which thou shalt put in the two ends at the top of the rational.
24 Pasarás los dos cordones de oro por las dos anillas, en los extremos del pectoral;	24 And the golden chains thou shalt join to the rings, that are in the ends thereof:
25 unirás los dos extremos de los dos cordones a los dos engarces, y los fijarás en la parte delantera de las hombreras del efod.	25 And the ends of the chains themselves thou shalt join together with two hooks on both sides of the ephod, which is towards the rational.
26 Harás otras dos anillas de oro que pondrás en los dos extremos del pectoral, en el borde interior que mira hacia el efod.	26 Thou shalt make also two rings of gold which thou shalt put in the top parts of the rational, in the borders that are over against the ephod, and look towards the back parts thereof.
27 Harás otras dos anillas de oro y las fijarás en la parte inferior de las dos hombreras del efod, por delante, cerca de su unión encima de la cinta del efod.	27 Moreover also other two rings of gold, which are to be set on each side of the ephod beneath, that looketh towards the nether joining, that the rational may be fitted with the ephod,
28 Sujetarán el pectoral por sus anillas a las anillas del efod, con un cordón de púrpura violeta, para que el pectoral quede sobre la cinta del efod y no se desprenda del efod.	28 And may be fastened by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a violet fillet, that the joining artificially wrought may continue, and the rational and the ephod may not be loosed one from the other.
29 Así llevará Aarón sobre su corazón los nombres de los hijos de Israel, en el pectoral del juicio, siempre que entre en el Santuario, para recuerdo perpetuo delante de Yahveh.	29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the rational of judgement upon his breast, when he shall enter into the sanctuary, a memorial before the Lord for ever.
30 En el pectoral del juicio pondrás el Urim y el Tummim, que estarán sobre el corazón de Aarón cuando se presente ante Yahveh. Así llevará Aarón constantemente sobre su corazón, delante de Yahveh, el oráculo de los hijos de Israel.	30 And thou shalt put in the rational of judgment doctrine and truth, which shall be on Aaron's breast, when he shall go in before the Lord: and he shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his breast, in the sight of the Lord always.
31 Tejerás el manto del efod todo él de púrpura violeta.	31 And thou shalt make the tunick of the ephod all of violet,
32 Habrá en su centro una abertura para la cabeza; esta abertura llevará en derredor una orla, tejida como el cuello de una cota, para que no se rompa.	32 In the midst whereof above shall be a hole for the head, and a border round about it woven, as is wont to be made in the outmost parts of garments, that it may not easily be broken.
33 En todo su ruedo inferior harás granadas de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y lino fino torzal; y entre ellas, también alrededor, pondrás campanillas de oro:	33 And beneath at the feet of the same tunick round about, thou shalt make as it were pomegranates, of violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, with little bells set between:
34 una campanilla de oro y una granada; otra campanilla de oro y otra granada; así por todo el ruedo inferior del manto.	34 So that there shall be a golden bell and a pomegranate, and again another golden bell and a pomegranate.
35 Aarón lo llevará en su ministerio y se oirá el tintineo cuando entre en el Santuario, ante Yahveh, y cuando salga; así no morirá.	35 And Aaron shall be vested with it in the office of his ministry, that the sound may be heard, when he goeth in and cometh out of the sanctuary, in the sight of the Lord, and that he may not die.
36 Harás, además, una lámina de oro puro y en ella grabarás como se graban los sellos: «”Consagrado a Yahveh.»	36 Thou shalt make also a plate of the purest gold: wherein thou shalt grave with engraver's work, Holy to the Lord.
37 La sujetarás con un cordón de púrpura violeta, de modo que esté fija sobre la tiara; estará en la parte delantera de la tiara.	37 And thou shalt tie it with a violet fillet, and it shall be upon the mitre,
38 Quedará sobre la frente de Aarón; pues Aarón cargará con las faltas cometidas por los israelitas en las cosas sagradas; es decir, al ofrecer toda clase de santas ofrendas. La tendrá siempre sobre su frente, para que hallen favor delante de Yahveh.	38 Hanging over the forehead of the high priest. And Aaron shall bear the iniquities of those things, which the children of Israel have offered and sanctified, in all their gifts and offerings. And the plate shall be always on his forehead, that the Lord may be well pleased with them.
39 Tejerás la túnica con lino fino; harás también la tiara de lino fino, y la faja con brocado.	39 And thou shalt gird the tunick with fine linen, and thou shalt make a fine linen mitre, and a girdle of embroidered work.
40 Para los hijos de Aarón harás túnicas. Les harás también fajas y mitras que les den majestad y esplendor.	40 Moreover for the sons of Aaron thou shalt prepare linen tunicks, and girdles and mitres for glory and beauty:
41 Vestirás así a tu hermano Aarón y a sus hijos; los ungirás, los investirás y los consagrarás para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio.	41 And with all these things thou shalt vest Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him. And thou shalt consecrate the hands of them all, and shalt sanctify them, that they may do the office of priesthood unto me.
42 Hazles también calzones de lino, para cubrir su desnudez desde la cintura hasta los muslos.	42 Thou shalt make also linen breeches, to cover the flesh of their nakedness from the reins to the thighs:
43 Aarón y sus hijos los llevarán al entrar en la Tienda del Encuentro, o al acercarse al altar para oficiar en el Santuario, para que no incurran en culpa y mueran. Decreto perpetuo será éste para él y su posteridad.
