Psalms 98

CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A Psalm of David himself. The Lord has reigned: let the peoples be angry. He sits upon the cherubim: let the earth be moved.	1 Salmo. Canten al Señor un canto nuevo, porque él hizo maravillas: su mano derecha y su santo brazo le obtuvieron la victoria.
2 The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high above all peoples.	2 El Señor manifestó su victoria, reveló su justicia a los ojos de las naciones:
3 May they confess to your great name, for it is terrible and holy.	3 se acordó de su amor y su fidelidad en favor del pueblo de Israel. Los confines de la tierra han contemplado el triunfo de nuestro Dios.
4 And the honor of the king loves judgment. You have prepared guidance. You have accomplished judgment and justice in Jacob.	4 Aclame al Señor toda la tierra, prorrumpan en cantos jubilosos.
5 Exalt the Lord our God, and adore the footstool of his feet, for it is holy.	5 Canten al Señor con el arpa y al son de instrumentos musicales;
6 Moses and Aaron are among his priests, and Samuel is among those who call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heeded them.	6 con clarines y sonidos de trompeta aclamen al Señor, que es Rey.
7 He spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies and the precept that he gave them.	7 Resuene el mar y todo lo que hay en él, el mundo y todos sus habitantes;
8 You heeded them, O Lord our God. You were a forgiving God to them, though taking vengeance on all their inventions.	8 aplaudan las corrientes del océano, griten de gozo las montañas al unísono.
9 Exalt the Lord our God, and adore on his holy mountain. For the Lord our God is holy.	9 Griten de gozo delante del Señor, porque él viene a gobernar la tierra; él gobernará al mundo con justicia, y a los pueblos con rectitud.
