Revelation 5

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 I saw that in the right hand of the One sitting on the throne there was a scrol that was written on backand front and was sealed with seven seals.	1 Eu vi também, na mão direita do que estava assentado no trono, um livro escrito por dentro e por fora, selado com sete selos.
2 Then I saw a powerful angel who cal ed with a loud voice, 'Who is worthy to open the scroll and breakits seals?'	2 Vi então um anjo vigoroso, que clamava em alta voz: Quem é digno de abrir o livro e desatar os seus selos?
3 But there was no one, in heaven or on the earth or under the earth, who was able to open the scrol andread it.	3 Mas ninguém, nem no céu, nem na terra, nem debaixo da terra, podia abrir o livro ou examiná-lo.
4 I wept bitterly because nobody could be found to open the scrol and read it,	4 Eu chorava muito, porque ninguém fora achado digno de abrir o livro e examiná-lo.
5 but one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,has triumphed, and so he wil open the scroll and its seven seals.'	5 Então um dos Anciãos me falou: Não chores! O Leão da tribo de Judá, o descendente de Davi achou meio de abrir o livro e os sete selos.
6 Then I saw, in the middle of the throne with its four living creatures and the circle of the elders, a Lambstanding that seemed to have been sacrificed; it had seven horns, and it had seven eyes, which are the sevenSpirits that God has sent out over the whole world.	6 Eu vi no meio do trono, dos quatro Animais e no meio dos Anciãos um Cordeiro de pé, como que imolado. Tinha ele sete chifres e sete olhos {que são os sete Espíritos de Deus, enviados por toda a terra}.
7 The Lamb came forward to take the scrol from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne,	7 Veio e recebeu o livro da mão direita do que se assentava no trono.
8 and when he took it, the four living creatures prostrated themselves before him and with them thetwenty-four elders; each one of them was holding a harp and had a golden bowl full of incense which are theprayers of the saints.	8 Quando recebeu o livro, os quatro Animais e os vinte e quatro Anciãos prostraram-se diante do Cordeiro, tendo cada um uma cítara e taças de ouro cheias de perfume {que são as orações dos santos}.
9 They sang a new hymn: You are worthy to take the scrol and to break its seals, because you weresacrificed, and with your blood you bought people for God of every race, language, people and nation	9 Cantavam um cântico novo, dizendo: Tu és digno de receber o livro e de abrir-lhe os selos, porque foste imolado e resgataste para Deus, ao preço de teu sangue, homens de toda tribo, língua, povo e raça;
10 and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world.	10 e deles fizeste para nosso Deus um reino de sacerdotes, que reinam sobre a terra.
11 In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and theliving creatures and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands uponthousands,	11 Na minha visão ouvi também, ao redor do trono, dos Animais e dos Anciãos, a voz de muitos anjos, em número de miríades de miríades e de milhares de milhares,
12 loudly chanting: Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength,honour, glory and blessing.	12 bradando em alta voz: Digno é o Cordeiro imolado de receber o poder, a riqueza, a sabedoria, a força, a glória, a honra e o louvor.
13 Then I heard al the living things in creation -- everything that lives in heaven, and on earth, and underthe earth, and in the sea, crying: To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb, be al praise, honour, gloryand power, for ever and ever.	13 E todas as criaturas que estão no céu, na terra, debaixo da terra e no mar, e tudo que contêm, eu as ouvi clamar: Àquele que se assenta no trono e ao Cordeiro, louvor, honra, glória e poder pelos séculos dos séculos.
14 And the four living creatures said, 'Amen'; and the elders prostrated themselves to worship.	14 E os quatro Animais diziam: Amém! Os Anciãos prostravam-se e adoravam.
