Revelation 5

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 I saw that in the right hand of the One sitting on the throne there was a scrol that was written on backand front and was sealed with seven seals.	1 Vi también en la mano derecha del que está sentado en el trono un libro, escrito por el anverso y el reverso, sellado con siete sellos.
2 Then I saw a powerful angel who cal ed with a loud voice, 'Who is worthy to open the scroll and breakits seals?'	2 Y vi a un Angel poderoso que proclamaba con fuerte voz: «¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y soltar sus sellos?»
3 But there was no one, in heaven or on the earth or under the earth, who was able to open the scrol andread it.	3 Pero nadie era capaz, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni bajo tierra, de abrir el libro ni de leerlo.
4 I wept bitterly because nobody could be found to open the scrol and read it,	4 Y yo lloraba mucho porque no se había encontrado a nadie digno de abrir el libro ni de leerlo.
5 but one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,has triumphed, and so he wil open the scroll and its seven seals.'	5 Pero uno de los Ancianos me dice: «No llores; mira, ha triunfado el León de la tribu de Judá, el Retoño de David; él podrá abrir el libro y sus siete sellos».
6 Then I saw, in the middle of the throne with its four living creatures and the circle of the elders, a Lambstanding that seemed to have been sacrificed; it had seven horns, and it had seven eyes, which are the sevenSpirits that God has sent out over the whole world.	6 Entonces vi, de pie, en medio del trono y de los cuatro Vivientes y de los Ancianos, un Cordero, como degollado; tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios, enviados a toda la tierra.
7 The Lamb came forward to take the scrol from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne,	7 Y se acercó y tomó el libro de la mano derecha del que está sentado en el trono.
8 and when he took it, the four living creatures prostrated themselves before him and with them thetwenty-four elders; each one of them was holding a harp and had a golden bowl full of incense which are theprayers of the saints.	8 Cuando lo tomó, los cuatro Vivientes y los veinticuatro Ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero. Tenía cada uno una cítara y copas de oro llenas de perfumes, que son las oraciones de los santos.
9 They sang a new hymn: You are worthy to take the scrol and to break its seals, because you weresacrificed, and with your blood you bought people for God of every race, language, people and nation	9 Y cantan un cántico nuevo diciendo: «Eres digno de tomar el libro y abrir sus sellos porque fuiste degollado y compraste para Dios con tu sangre hombres de toda raza, lengua, pueblo y nación;
10 and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world.	10 y has hecho de ellos para nuestro Dios un Reino de Sacerdotes, y reinan sobre la tierra».
11 In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and theliving creatures and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands uponthousands,	11 Y en la visión oí la voz de una multitud de Angeles alrededor del trono, de los Vivientes y de los Ancianos. Su número era miríadas de miríadas y millares de millares,
12 loudly chanting: Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength,honour, glory and blessing.	12 y decían con fuerte voz: «Digno es el Cordero degollado de recibir el poder, la riqueza, la sabiduría, la fuerza, el honor, la gloria y la alabanza».
13 Then I heard al the living things in creation -- everything that lives in heaven, and on earth, and underthe earth, and in the sea, crying: To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb, be al praise, honour, gloryand power, for ever and ever.	13 Y toda criatura, del cielo, de la tierra, de debajo de la tierra y del mar, y todo lo que hay en ellos, oí que respondían: «Al que está sentado en el trono y al Cordero, alabanza, honor, gloria y potencia por los siglos de los siglos».
14 And the four living creatures said, 'Amen'; and the elders prostrated themselves to worship.	14 Y los cuatro Vivientes decían: «Amén»; y los Ancianos se postraron para adorar.
