Revelation 5

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 I saw that in the right hand of the One sitting on the throne there was a scrol that was written on backand front and was sealed with seven seals.	1 - E vidi nella destra di colui che sedeva sul trono un libro scritto di dentro e di fuori, sigillato con sette sigilli.
2 Then I saw a powerful angel who cal ed with a loud voice, 'Who is worthy to open the scroll and breakits seals?'	2 E vidi un angelo potente, che bandiva a gran voce: «Chi è degno d'aprire il libro e sciogliere i suoi sigilli?».
3 But there was no one, in heaven or on the earth or under the earth, who was able to open the scrol andread it.	3 E nessuno nel cielo nè sulla terra nè sotto la terra poteva aprire il libro nè guardarlo.
4 I wept bitterly because nobody could be found to open the scrol and read it,	4 E io piangevo molto, che nessuno s'era trovato degno di aprire il libro nè di guardarlo.
5 but one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,has triumphed, and so he wil open the scroll and its seven seals.'	5 E uno de' vecchi mi disse: «Non piangere! Ecco, ha vinto il leone della tribù di Giuda, il rampollo di David, sì da aprire il libro e sciogliere i suoi sette sigilli».
6 Then I saw, in the middle of the throne with its four living creatures and the circle of the elders, a Lambstanding that seemed to have been sacrificed; it had seven horns, and it had seven eyes, which are the sevenSpirits that God has sent out over the whole world.	6 E in mezzo al trono dei quattro animali e in mezzo ai vecchi, ecco, io vidi un agnello in piedi, come sgozzato, il quale aveva sette corna e sette occhi, che sono i sette spiriti di Dio mandati per tutta la terra.
7 The Lamb came forward to take the scrol from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne,	7 E venne e prese il libro dalla destra di colui che sedeva sul trono.
8 and when he took it, the four living creatures prostrated themselves before him and with them thetwenty-four elders; each one of them was holding a harp and had a golden bowl full of incense which are theprayers of the saints.	8 E quando ebbe preso il libro, i quattro animali e i ventiquattro vecchi si prostrarono al cospetto dell'agnello, avendo ciascuno una cetra e coppe d'oro piene di profumi, che sono le preghiere dei santi.
9 They sang a new hymn: You are worthy to take the scrol and to break its seals, because you weresacrificed, and with your blood you bought people for God of every race, language, people and nation	9 E cantavano un inno nuovo, dicendo: «Degno tu sei, o Signore, di prendere il libro e di aprire i suoi sigilli, perchè sei stato sgozzato e col tuo sangue hai comprato a Dio [uomini] da ogni tribù e lingua e popolo e nazione,
10 and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world.	10 e li hai fatti per il nostro Dio popolo regale e sacerdote, e regneranno sulla terra».
11 In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and theliving creatures and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands uponthousands,	11 E vidi e udii una voce di molti angeli intorno al trono e agli animali, e ai vecchi ed era il loro numero miriadi di miriadi, migliaia di migliaia,
12 loudly chanting: Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength,honour, glory and blessing.	12 che dicevano a gran voce: «Degno l'agnello, che è stato sgozzato, di ricever la potenza e la ricchezza e la sapienza e la forza e l'onore e la gloria e la benedizione».
13 Then I heard al the living things in creation -- everything that lives in heaven, and on earth, and underthe earth, and in the sea, crying: To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb, be al praise, honour, gloryand power, for ever and ever.	13 E ogni creatura ch'è nel cielo e sulla terra e sotto la terra e sul mare, e tutte le cose in essi contenute, udii che dicevano: «A colui che siede sul trono e all'agnello, la benedizione e l'onore e la gloria e il potere per i secoli de' secoli!».
14 And the four living creatures said, 'Amen'; and the elders prostrated themselves to worship.	14 E i quattro animali dicevano: «Amen!». E i ventiquattro vecchi caddero bocconi e adorarono il Vivente per i secoli de' secoli.
