Revelation 5

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 I saw that in the right hand of the One sitting on the throne there was a scrol that was written on backand front and was sealed with seven seals.	1 Después vi en la mano derecha de aquel que estaba sentado en el trono un libro escrito por dentro y por fuera, y sellado con siete sellos.
2 Then I saw a powerful angel who cal ed with a loud voice, 'Who is worthy to open the scroll and breakits seals?'	2 Y vi a un Angel poderoso que proclamaba en alta voz: «¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y de romper sus sellos?».
3 But there was no one, in heaven or on the earth or under the earth, who was able to open the scrol andread it.	3 Pero nadie, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de ella, era capaz de abrir el libro ni de leerlo.
4 I wept bitterly because nobody could be found to open the scrol and read it,	4 Y yo me puse a llorar porque nadie era digno de abrir el libro ni de leerlo.
5 but one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep. Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,has triumphed, and so he wil open the scroll and its seven seals.'	5 Pero uno de los Ancianos me dijo: «No llores: ha triunfado el León de la tribu de Judá, el Retoño de David, y él abrirá el libro y sus siete sellos».
6 Then I saw, in the middle of the throne with its four living creatures and the circle of the elders, a Lambstanding that seemed to have been sacrificed; it had seven horns, and it had seven eyes, which are the sevenSpirits that God has sent out over the whole world.	6 Entonces vi un Cordero que parecía haber sido inmolado: estaba de pie entre el trono y los cuatro Seres Vivientes, en medio de los veinticuatro Ancianos. Tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios enviados a toda la tierra.
7 The Lamb came forward to take the scrol from the right hand of the One sitting on the throne,	7 El Cordero vino y tomó el libro de la mano derecha de aquel que estaba sentado en el trono.
8 and when he took it, the four living creatures prostrated themselves before him and with them thetwenty-four elders; each one of them was holding a harp and had a golden bowl full of incense which are theprayers of the saints.	8 Cuando tomó el libro, los cuatro Seres Vivientes y los veinticuatro Ancianos se postraron ante el Cordero. Cada uno tenía un arpa, y copas de oro llenas de perfume, que son las oraciones de los Santos,
9 They sang a new hymn: You are worthy to take the scrol and to break its seals, because you weresacrificed, and with your blood you bought people for God of every race, language, people and nation	9 y cantaban un canto nuevo, diciendo: «Tú eres digno de tomar el libro y de romper los sellos, porque has sido inmolado, y por medio de tu Sangre, has rescatado para Dios a hombres de todas las familias, lenguas, pueblos y naciones.
10 and made them a line of kings and priests for God, to rule the world.	10 Tú has hecho de ellos un Reino sacerdotal para nuestro Dios, y ellos reinarán sobre la tierra».
11 In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and theliving creatures and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands uponthousands,	11 Y después oí la voz de una multitud de Angeles que estaban alrededor del trono, de los Seres Vivientes y de los Ancianos. Su número se contaba por miles y millones,
12 loudly chanting: Worthy is the Lamb that was sacrificed to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength,honour, glory and blessing.	12 y exclamaban con voz potente: «El Cordero que ha sido inmolado es digno de recibir el poder y la riqueza, la sabiduría, la fuerza y el honor, la gloria y la alabanza».
13 Then I heard al the living things in creation -- everything that lives in heaven, and on earth, and underthe earth, and in the sea, crying: To the One seated on the throne and to the Lamb, be al praise, honour, gloryand power, for ever and ever.	13 También oí que todas las criaturas que están en el cielo, sobre la tierra, debajo de ella y en el mar, y todo lo que hay en ellos, decían: «Al que está sentado sobre el trono y al Cordero, alabanza, honor, gloria y poder, por los siglos de los siglos».
14 And the four living creatures said, 'Amen'; and the elders prostrated themselves to worship.	14 Los cuatro Seres Vivientes decían: «¡Amén!», y los Ancianos se postraron en actitud de adoración.
