Revelation 4

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Then, in my vision, I saw a door open in heaven and heard the same voice speaking to me, the voicelike a trumpet, saying, 'Come up here: I will show you what is to take place in the future.'	1 Después tuve una visión. He aquí que una puerta estaba abierta en el cielo, y aquella voz que había oído antes, como voz de trompeta que hablara conmigo, me decía: «Sube acá, que te voy a enseñar lo que ha de suceder después».
2 With that, I fel into ecstasy and I saw a throne standing in heaven, and the One who was sitting on thethrone,	2 Al instante caí en éxtasis. Vi que un trono estaba erigido en el cielo, y Uno sentado en el trono.
3 and the One sitting there looked like a diamond and a ruby. There was a rainbow encircling the throne,and this looked like an emerald.	3 El que estaba sentado era de aspecto semejante al jaspe y a la cornalina; y un arcoiris alrededor del trono, de aspecto semejante a la esmeralda.
4 Round the throne in a circle were twenty-four thrones, and on them twenty-four elders sitting, dressedin white robes with golden crowns on their heads.	4 Vi veinticuatro tronos alrededor del trono, y sentados en los tronos, a veinticuatro Ancianos con vestiduras blancas y coronas de oro sobre sus cabezas.
5 Flashes of lightning were coming from the throne, and the sound of peals of thunder, and in front of thethrone there were seven flaming lamps burning, the seven Spirits of God.	5 Del trono salen relámpagos y fragor y truenos; delante del trono arden siete antorchas de fuego, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios.
6 In front of the throne was a sea as transparent as crystal. In the middle of the throne and around it,were four living creatures al studded with eyes, in front and behind.	6 Delante del trono como un mar transparente semejante al cristal. En medio del trono, y en torno al trono, cuatro Vivientes llenos de ojos por delante y por detrás.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second like a bull, the third living creature had a human face,and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.	7 El primer Viviente, como un león; el segundo Viviente, como un novillo; el tercer Viviente tiene un rostro como de hombre; el cuarto viviente es como un águila en vuelo.
8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was studded with eyes all the way round as well asinside; and day and night they never stopped singing: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God, the Almighty; who was,and is and is to come.'	8 Los cuatro Vivientes tienen cada uno seis alas, están llenos de ojos todo alrededor y por dentro, y repiten sin descanso día y noche: «Santo, Santo, Santo, Señor, Dios Todopoderoso, “Aquel que era, que es y que va a venir”».
9 Every time the living creatures glorified and honoured and gave thanks to the One sitting on the throne,who lives for ever and ever,	9 Y cada vez que los Vivientes dan gloria, honor y acción de gracias al que está sentado en el trono y vive por los siglos de los siglos,
10 the twenty-four elders prostrated themselves before him to worship the One who lives for ever andever, and threw down their crowns in front of the throne, saying:	10 los veinticuatro Ancianos se postran ante el que está sentado en el trono y adoran al que vive por los siglos de los siglos, y arrojan sus coronas delante del trono diciendo:
11 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you made the wholeuniverse; by your wil , when it did not exist, it was created.	11 «Eres digno, Señor y Dios nuestro, de recibir la gloria, el honor y el poder, porque tú has creado el universo; por tu voluntad, no existía y fue creado».
