1 Then, in my vision, I saw a door open in heaven and heard the same voice speaking to me, the voicelike a trumpet, saying, 'Come up here: I will show you what is to take place in the future.'	1 Voici ce que j’ai vu ensuite: une porte était ouverte dans le ciel. Alors la voix que j’avais entendue au début, qui résonne comme une trompette, me dit: "Monte ici, je vais te montrer ce qui arrivera par la suite.”
2 With that, I fel into ecstasy and I saw a throne standing in heaven, and the One who was sitting on thethrone,	2 Aussitôt je suis saisi par l’Esprit et je vois dans le ciel un trône, et sur le trône Quelqu’un est assis.
3 and the One sitting there looked like a diamond and a ruby. There was a rainbow encircling the throne,and this looked like an emerald.	3 L’éclat de celui qui siège fait penser à une pierre de jaspe ou de sardoine. Un arc-en-ciel couleur d’émeraude enveloppe le trône.
4 Round the throne in a circle were twenty-four thrones, and on them twenty-four elders sitting, dressedin white robes with golden crowns on their heads.	4 Tout autour du trône il y a 24 trônes, et 24 Anciens sont assis sur ces trônes, tout habillés de blanc, avec sur la tête des couronnes d’or.
5 Flashes of lightning were coming from the throne, and the sound of peals of thunder, and in front of thethrone there were seven flaming lamps burning, the seven Spirits of God.	5 Des éclairs jaillissent du trône avec un grand vacarme et des coups de tonnerre. Devant le trône brûlent sept torches qui sont les sept esprits de Dieu.
6 In front of the throne was a sea as transparent as crystal. In the middle of the throne and around it,were four living creatures al studded with eyes, in front and behind.	6 Un bassin transparent comme du cristal se voit devant le trône. Quatre êtres vivants occupent l’espace entre le trône et ce qui est autour.
7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second like a bull, the third living creature had a human face,and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.	7 Le premier Vivant ressemble à un lion, le second à un bœuf, le troisième a un visage d’homme et le quatrième est comme un aigle en plein vol.
8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was studded with eyes all the way round as well asinside; and day and night they never stopped singing: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God, the Almighty; who was,and is and is to come.'	8 Chacun des quatre Vivants a six ailes couvertes d’yeux tout autour et à l’intérieur. Et de jour ou de nuit ils ne cessent de répéter: Saint, Saint, Saint, le Seigneur Dieu, Maître de l’univers, Celui qui était et Qui est et Qui vient.
9 Every time the living creatures glorified and honoured and gave thanks to the One sitting on the throne,who lives for ever and ever,	9 Et chaque fois que ces Vivants rendent gloire, honneur et action de grâce à celui qui est assis sur le trône et qui vit pour les siècles des siècles,
10 the twenty-four elders prostrated themselves before him to worship the One who lives for ever andever, and threw down their crowns in front of the throne, saying:	10 les 24 Anciens se prosternent devant celui qui est assis sur le trône. Ils adorent celui qui vit pour les siècles des siècles et ils jettent leurs couronnes au pied du trône en disant:
11 You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you made the wholeuniverse; by your wil , when it did not exist, it was created.	11 Que revienne à toi, Seigneur notre Dieu, gloire, honneur et puissance, car tu en es digne. C’est toi qui as créé toutes choses, selon ta volonté elles ont été et se sont formées.
