Revelation 21

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; the first heaven and the first earth had disappeared now,and there was no longer any sea.	1 וארא שמים חדשים וארץ חדשה כי השמים הראשנים והארץ הראשונה עברו והים איננו עוד
2 I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bridedressed for her husband.	2 וארא את העיר הקדושה ירושלים החדשה ירדת מאת האלהים מן השמים נכונה ככלה המקשטת לבעלה
3 Then I heard a loud voice cal from the throne, 'Look, here God lives among human beings. He willmake his home among them; they will be his people, and he wil be their God, God-with-them.	3 ואשמע קול גדול מן השמים לאמר הנה משכן אלהים עם בני האדם ושכן בתוכם והמה יהיו לו לעם והוא האלהים יהיה אתם אלהיהם
4 He wil wipe away all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death, and no more mourning orsadness or pain. The world of the past has gone.'	4 ומחה אלהים כל דמעה מעיניהם והמות לא יהיה עוד וגם אבל וזעקה וכאב לא יהיה עוד כי הראשנות עברו
5 Then the One sitting on the throne spoke. 'Look, I am making the whole of creation new. Write this,"What I am saying is trustworthy and will come true."	5 ויאמר הישב על הכסא הנני עשה הכל חדש ויאמר אלי כתב כי הדברים האלה אמתים ונאמנים הם
6 Then he said to me, 'It has already happened. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and theEnd. I wil give water from the wel of life free to anybody who is thirsty;	6 ויאמר אלי היה נהיתה אני האלף והתו הראש והסוף אני אתן לצמא ממעין מים חיים חנם
7 anyone who proves victorious wil inherit these things; and I will be his God and he wil be my son.	7 המנצח יירש הכל ואני אהיה לו לאלהים והוא יהיה לי לבן
8 But the legacy for cowards, for those who break their word, or worship obscenities, for murderers andthe sexual y immoral, and for sorcerers, worshippers of false gods or any other sort of liars, is the second deathin the burning lake of sulphur.'	8 אבל רכי הלב ואשר אינם מאמינים והמגאלים והמרצחים והזנים והמכשפים ועבדי האלילים וכל המכזבים חלקם יהיה באגם הבער באש וגפרית אשר הוא המות השני
9 One of the seven angels that had the seven bowls ful of the seven final plagues came to speak to meand said, 'Come here and I wil show you the bride that the Lamb has married.'	9 ויבא אלי אחד משבעת המלאכים הנשאים שבע הקערות המלאות שבע המכות האחרנות וידבר אלי לאמר בא ואראך את הכלה אשת השה
10 In the spirit, he carried me to the top of a very high mountain, and showed me Jerusalem, the holycity, coming down out of heaven from God.	10 ויוליכני ברוח על הר גדול וגבה ויראני העיר הגדולה ירושלים הקדושה ירדת מן השמים מאת האלהים
11 It had al the glory of God and glittered like some precious jewel of crystal-clear diamond.	11 ויש לה כבוד אלהים ואור נגהה כאבן יקרה מאד כאבן ישפה המבהקת כעין הקרח
12 Its wal was of a great height and had twelve gates; at each of the twelve gates there was an angel, and over the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel;	12 ויש לה חומה גדולה וגבהה ושנים עשר שערים לה ועל השערים שנים עשר מלאכים ושמות כתובים עליהם אשר הם שמות שנים עשר שבטי בני ישראל
13 on the east there were three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on thewest three gates.	13 שערים שלשה ממזרח שערים שלשה מצפון שערים שלשה מנגב ושערים שלשה ממערב
14 The city wal s stood on twelve foundation stones, each one of which bore the name of one of thetwelve apostles of the Lamb.	14 ולחומת העיר שנים עשר מוסדות ועליהם שנים עשר שמות לשנים עשר שליחי השה
15 The angel that was speaking to me was carrying a gold measuring rod to measure the city and itsgates and wal .	15 וביד המדבר אלי היה קנה זהב למד בו את העיר ואת שעריה ואת חומתה
16 The plan of the city is perfectly square, its length the same as its breadth. He measured the city withhis rod and it was twelve thousand furlongs, equal in length and in breadth, and equal in height.	16 ומושב העיר מרבע וארכה כרחבה וימד את העיר בקנה המדה שנים עשר אלף ריס ארכה ורחבה וקומתה שוים המה
17 He measured its wal , and this was a hundred and forty-four cubits high -- by human measurements.	17 וימד את חומתה על מאה וארבעים וארבע אמות במדת איש אשר היא מדת המלאך
18 The wall was built of diamond, and the city of pure gold, like clear glass.	18 ובנין חומתה אבן ישפה והעיר זהב מופז דומה לזכוכית זכה
19 The foundations of the city wall were faced with al kinds of precious stone: the first with diamond, thesecond lapis lazuli, the third turquoise, the fourth crystal,	19 ומוסדות חומת העיר מרבצות בכל אבני חפץ המוסד הראשון ישפה השני ספיר השלישי שבו הרביעי ברקת
20 the fifth agate, the sixth ruby, the seventh gold quartz, the eighth malachite, the ninth topaz, the tenthemerald, the eleventh sapphire and the twelfth amethyst.	20 החמישי יהלם הששי אדם השביעי תרשיש השמיני שהם התשיעי פטדה העשירי נפך אחד העשר לשם שנים העשר אחלמה
21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate being made of a single pearl, and the main street ofthe city was pure gold, transparent as glass.	21 ושנים עשר השערים הם שתים עשרה מרגליות כל שער ושער מרגלית אחת ורחוב העיר זהב מופז כזכוכית בהירה
22 I could not see any temple in the city since the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb were themselvesthe temple,	22 והיכל לא ראיתי בה כי יהוה אלהים צבאות היכלה הוא והשה
23 and the city did not need the sun or the moon for light, since it was lit by the radiant glory of God, andthe Lamb was a lighted torch for it.	23 והעיר איננה צריכה לאור השמש ולנגה הירח כי כבוד אלהים האיר לה ונרה הוא השה
24 The nations wil come to its light and the kings of the earth wil bring it their treasures.	24 והגוים ילכו לאורה ומלכי ארץ מביאים כבודם ותפארתם אליה
25 Its gates will never be closed by day -- and there will be no night there-	25 ושעריה יומם לא יסגרו כי לילה לא יהיה שם
26 and the nations wil come, bringing their treasure and their wealth.	26 והביאו בה כבוד הגוים ותפארתם
27 Nothing unclean may come into it: no one who does what is loathsome or false, but only those whoare listed in the Lamb's book of life.	27 ולא יבוא בה כל טמא ועשה תועבה ושקר כי אם הכתובים בספר החיים של השה
