Revelation 10

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Then I saw another powerful angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in cloud, with a rainbow overhis head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were pillars of fire.	1 Luego vi descender del cielo a otro Angel poderoso, envuelto en una nube, con un arco iris sobre su cabeza. Su rostro era como el sol, sus piernas parecían columnas de fuego,
2 In his hand he had a small scroll, unrol ed; he put his right foot in the sea and his left foot on the land	2 y en su mano tenía abierto un libro pequeño. Puso su pie derecho sobre el mar y el izquierdo sobre la tierra,
3 and he shouted so loud, it was like a lion roaring. At this, the seven claps of thunder made themselvesheard	3 y gritó con voz potente, semejante al rugido del león. Entonces, los siete truenos hicieron resonar sus voces.
4 and when the seven thunderclaps had sounded, I was preparing to write, when I heard a voice fromheaven say to me, 'Keep the words of the seven thunderclaps secret and do not write them down.'	4 Una vez que estos hablaron, yo me dispuse a escribir, pero una voz del cielo me ordenó: «Guarda en secreto lo que han dicho los siete truenos y no los escribas».
5 Then the angel that I had seen, standing on the sea and the land, raised his right hand to heaven,	5 Y el Angel que yo había visto de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra, levantó su mano derecha hacia el cielo,
6 and swore by him who lives for ever and ever, and made heaven and all that it contains, and earth andal it contains, and the sea and al it contains, 'The time of waiting is over;	6 y juró por aquel que vive por los siglos de los siglos, por el que ha creado el cielo, la tierra y el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos, diciendo: «¡Se acabó el tiempo de la espera!
7 at the time when the seventh angel is heard sounding his trumpet, the mystery of God will be fulfil ed,just as he announced in the gospel to his servants the prophets.'	7 Pero el día en que suene la trompeta del séptimo Angel y se escuche su voz, se cumplirá el misterio de Dios, conforme al anuncio que él hizo a sus servidores, los profetas».
8 Then I heard the voice I had heard from heaven speaking to me again. 'Go', it said, 'and take thatopen scroll from the hand of the angel standing on sea and land.'	8 Y la voz que había oído desde el cielo me habló nuevamente, diciéndome: «Ve a tomar el pequeño libro que tiene abierto en la mano el Angel que está de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra».
9 I went to the angel and asked him to give me the smal scrol , and he said, 'Take it and eat it; it wilturn your stomach sour, but it wil taste as sweet as honey.'	9 Yo corrí hacia el Angel y le rogué que me diera el pequeño libro, y él me respondió: «Toma y cómelo; será amargo para tu estómago, pero en tu boca será dulce como la miel».
10 So I took it out of the angel's hand, and I ate it and it tasted sweet as honey, but when I had eaten itmy stomach turned sour.	10 Yo tomé el pequeño libro de la mano del Angel y lo comí: en mi boca era dulce como la miel, pero cuando terminé de comerlo, se volvió amargo en mi estómago.
11 Then I was told, 'You are to prophesy again, this time against many different nations and countriesand languages and kings.'	11 Entonces se me dijo: «Es necesario que profetices nuevamente acerca de una multitud de pueblos, de naciones, de lenguas y de reyes».
