Revelation 10

NEW JERUSALEM	JERUSALEM
1 Then I saw another powerful angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in cloud, with a rainbow overhis head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were pillars of fire.	1 Je vis ensuite un autre Ange, puissant, descendre du ciel enveloppé d'une nuée, un arc-en-cielau-dessus de la tête, le visage comme le soleil et les jambes comme des colonnes de feu.
2 In his hand he had a small scroll, unrol ed; he put his right foot in the sea and his left foot on the land	2 Il tenait en sa main un petit livre ouvert. Il posa le pied droit sur la mer, le gauche sur la terre,
3 and he shouted so loud, it was like a lion roaring. At this, the seven claps of thunder made themselvesheard	3 et il poussa une puissante clameur pareille au rugissement du lion. Après quoi, les septtonnerres firent retentir leurs voix.
4 and when the seven thunderclaps had sounded, I was preparing to write, when I heard a voice fromheaven say to me, 'Keep the words of the seven thunderclaps secret and do not write them down.'	4 Quand les sept tonnerres eurent parlé, j'allais écrire mais j'entendis du ciel une voix me dire:"Tiens secrètes les paroles des sept tonnerres et ne les écris pas."
5 Then the angel that I had seen, standing on the sea and the land, raised his right hand to heaven,	5 Alors l'Ange que j'avais vu, debout sur la mer et la terre, leva la main droite au ciel
6 and swore by him who lives for ever and ever, and made heaven and all that it contains, and earth andal it contains, and the sea and al it contains, 'The time of waiting is over;	6 et jura par Celui qui vit dans les siècles des siècles, qui créa le ciel et tout ce qu'il contient, laterre et tout ce qu'elle contient, la mer et tout ce qu'elle contient: "Plus de délai!
7 at the time when the seventh angel is heard sounding his trumpet, the mystery of God will be fulfil ed,just as he announced in the gospel to his servants the prophets.'	7 Mais aux jours où l'on entendra le septième Ange, quand il sonnera de la trompette, alors seraconsommé le mystère de Dieu, selon la bonne nouvelle qu'il en a donnée à ses serviteurs les prophètes."
8 Then I heard the voice I had heard from heaven speaking to me again. 'Go', it said, 'and take thatopen scroll from the hand of the angel standing on sea and land.'	8 Puis la voix du ciel, que j'avais entendue, me parla de nouveau: "Va prendre le petit livreouvert dans la main de l'Ange debout sur la mer et sur la terre."
9 I went to the angel and asked him to give me the smal scrol , and he said, 'Take it and eat it; it wilturn your stomach sour, but it wil taste as sweet as honey.'	9 Je m'en fus alors prier l'Ange de me donner le petit livre; et lui me dit: tiens, mange-le; il teremplira les entrailles d'amertume, mais en ta bouche il aura la douceur du miel."
10 So I took it out of the angel's hand, and I ate it and it tasted sweet as honey, but when I had eaten itmy stomach turned sour.	10 "Je pris le petit livre de la main de l'Ange et l'avalai; dans ma bouche, il avait la douceur dumiel, mais quand je l'eus mangé, il remplit mes entrailles d'amertume.
11 Then I was told, 'You are to prophesy again, this time against many different nations and countriesand languages and kings.'	11 Alors on me dit: "Il te faut de nouveau prophétiser contre une foule de peuples, de nations, delangues et de rois."
