1 John 3

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 You must see what great love the Father has lavished on us by letting us be cal ed God's children --which is what we are! The reason why the world does not acknowledge us is that it did not acknowledge him.	1 انظروا اية محبة اعطانا الآب حتى ندعى اولاد الله. من اجل هذا لا يعرفنا العالم لانه لا يعرفه.
2 My dear friends, we are already God's children, but what we shall be in the future has not yet beenrevealed. We are wel aware that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he real yis.	2 ايها الاحباء الآن نحن اولاد الله ولم يظهر بعد ماذا سنكون. ولكن نعلم انه اذا أظهر نكون مثله لاننا سنراه كما هو.
3 Whoever treasures this hope of him purifies himself, to be as pure as he is.	3 وكل من عنده هذا الرجاء به يطهر نفسه كما هو طاهر.
4 Whoever sins, acts wickedly, because al sin is wickedness.	4 كل من يفعل الخطية يفعل التعدي ايضا. والخطية هي التعدي.
5 Now you are well aware that he has appeared in order to take sins away, and that in him there is no sin.	5 وتعلمون ان ذاك أظهر لكي يرفع خطايانا وليس فيه خطية.
6 No one who remains in him sins, and whoever sins has neither seen him nor recognised him.	6 كل من يثبت فيه لا يخطئ. كل من يخطئ لم يبصره ولا عرفه
7 Children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Whoever acts uprightly is upright, just as he is upright.	7 ايها الاولاد لا يضلّكم احد. من يفعل البر فهو بار كما ان ذاك بار
8 Whoever lives sinfully belongs to the devil, since the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. Thiswas the purpose of the appearing of the Son of God, to undo the work of the devil.	8 من يفعل الخطية فهو من ابليس لان ابليس من البدء يخطئ. لاجل هذا أظهر ابن الله لكي ينقض اعمال ابليس.
9 No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is achild of God.	9 كل من هو مولود من الله لا يفعل خطية لان زرعه يثبت فيه ولا يستطيع ان يخطئ لانه مولود من الله.
10 This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not liveuprightly and does not love his brother is not from God.	10 بهذا اولاد الله ظاهرون واولاد ابليس. كل من لا يفعل البر فليس من الله وكذا من لا يحب اخاه.
11 This is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we must love one another,	11 لان هذا هو الخبر الذي سمعتموه من البدء ان يحب بعضنا بعضا.
12 not to be like Cain, who was from the Evil One and murdered his brother. And why did he murder hisbrother? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's upright.	12 ليس كما كان قايين من الشرير وذبح اخاه. ولماذا ذبحه. لان اعماله كانت شريرة واعمال اخيه بارة
13 Do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.	13 لا تتعجبوا يا اخوتي ان كان العالم يبغضكم.
14 We are wel aware that we have passed over from death to life because we love our brothers.Whoever does not love, remains in death.	14 نحن نعلم اننا قد انتقلنا من الموت الى الحياة لاننا نحب الاخوة. من لا يحب اخاه يبق في الموت.
15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you are well aware that no murderer has eternal life remaining in him.	15 كل من يبغض اخاه فهو قاتل نفس. وانتم تعلمون ان كل قاتل نفس ليس له حياة ابدية ثابتة فيه.
16 This is the proof of love, that he laid down his life for us, and we too ought to lay down our lives for ourbrothers.	16 بهذا قد عرفنا المحبة ان ذاك وضع نفسه لاجلنا فنحن ينبغي لنا ان نضع نفوسنا لاجل الاخوة.
17 If anyone is wel -off in worldly possessions and sees his brother in need but closes his heart to him,how can the love of God be remaining in him?	17 واما من كان له معيشة العالم ونظر اخاه محتاجا واغلق احشاءه عنه فكيف تثبت محبة الله فيه.
18 Children, our love must be not just words or mere talk, but something active and genuine.	18 يا اولادي لا نحب بالكلام ولا باللسان بل بالعمل والحق.
19 This will be the proof that we belong to the truth, and it wil convince us in his presence,	19 وبهذا نعرف اننا من الحق ونسكن قلوبنا قدامه.
20 even if our own feelings condemn us, that God is greater than our feelings and knows al things.	20 لانه ان لامتنا قلوبنا فالله اعظم من قلوبنا ويعلم كل شيء
21 My dear friends, if our own feelings do not condemn us, we can be fearless before God,	21 ايها الاحباء ان لم تلمنا قلوبنا فلنا ثقة من نحو الله
22 and whatever we ask we shal receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what isacceptable to him.	22 ومهما سألنا ننال منه لاننا نحفظ وصاياه ونعمل الاعمال المرضية امامه.
23 His commandment is this, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and that weshould love one another as he commanded us.	23 وهذه هي وصيته ان نؤمن باسم ابنه يسوع المسيح ونحب بعضنا بعضا كما اعطانا وصية.
24 Whoever keeps his commandments remains in God, and God in him. And this is the proof that heremains in us: the Spirit that he has given us.	24 ومن يحفظ وصاياه يثبت فيه وهو فيه. وبهذا نعرف انه يثبت فينا من الروح الذي اعطانا
