Deuteronomy 16

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 'Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover for Yahweh your God, because it was in themonth of Abib that Yahweh your God brought you out of Egypt by night.	1 - Osserva il mese delle nuove mèssi e il principio della primavera, per far in esso la Pasqua del Signore Dio tuo; in quel mese infatti il Signore Dio tuo, di notte, ti condusse via dall'Egitto.
2 You must sacrifice a Passover from your flock or herd for Yahweh your God in the place whereYahweh chooses to give his name a home.	2 Immolerai per la Pasqua del Signore Dio tuo pecore e bovi nel luogo che il Signore Dio tuo avrà eletto perchè ivi sia l'abitazione del suo nome.
3 You must not eat leavened bread with this; for seven days you must eat it with unleavened bread --the bread of affliction -- since you left Egypt in great haste; this is so that, as long as you live, you wil rememberthe day you came out of Egypt.	3 In essa Pasqua non mangerai pane fermentato; per sette giorni mangerai il pane dell'afflizione, senza fermento, perchè uscisti con gran timore dall'Egitto; così ti ricorderai del giorno della tua uscita dall'Egitto, per tutto il tempo della tua vita.
4 For seven days no leaven must be found in any house throughout your territory, nor must any of themeat that you sacrifice in the evening of the first day be kept overnight until the next day.	4 Per sette giorni non si vedrà fermento entro tutti i tuoi confini, e degli animali che avrai immolato alla sera del primo giorno, nulla rimarrà delle loro carni per l'indomani.
5 You must sacrifice the Passover not in any of the towns given you by Yahweh your God,	5 Non potrai immolare la Pasqua in una qualunque delle città che il Signore Dio t'avrà date;
6 but in the place where Yahweh your God chooses to give his name a home; there you must sacrificethe Passover, in the evening at sunset, at the hour when you came out of Egypt.	6 ma [solo] nel luogo che il Signore Dio tuo avrà scelto per farvi abitar il suo nome; tu immolerai la Pasqua, la sera, al tramonto del sole, all'ora in che uscisti dall'Egitto.
7 You wil cook it and eat it in the place chosen by Yahweh your God, and in the morning you mustreturn and go to your tents.	7 La cocerai e la mangerai nel luogo che il Signore Dio tuo avrà scelto; al mattino ti leverai, e potrai tornare alla tua dimora.
8 For six days you wil eat unleavened bread; on the seventh day there wil be an assembly for Yahwehyour God; and you must do no work.	8 Per sei giorni mangerai azzimo, e nel settimo, tenendosi l'adunanza del Signore Dio tuo, non farai alcun lavoro.
9 'You must count seven weeks, counting these seven weeks from the time you begin to put your sickleinto the standing corn.	9 Conterai sette settimane dal giorno nel quale avrai messo la falce nei grani;
10 You wil then celebrate the feast of Weeks for Yahweh your God with the gift of a voluntary offeringproportionate to the degree in which Yahweh your God has blessed you.	10 e celebrerai la festa delle settimane al Signore Dio tuo, con volontaria oblazione del frutto del tuo lavoro, che offrirai a seconda della benedizione del Signore Dio tuo.
11 You must rejoice in the presence of Yahweh your God, in the place where Yahweh your Godchooses to give his name a home, you, your son and your daughter, your serving men and women, the Leviteliving in your community, the foreigner, the orphan and the widow living among you.	11 Tu, il figlio e la figlia tua, il servo tuo e la serva, il levita che dimora entro le tue porte, il forestiero, l'orfano e la vedova che abitano con voi, banchetterete innanzi al Signore Dio tuo, nel luogo che il Signore Dio tuo avrà eletto per farvi abitare il suo nome.
12 Remember that you were once a slave in Egypt, and careful y observe these laws.	12 Ti ricorderai d'esser stato schiavo in Egitto, e osserverai ed eseguirai quello che è comandato.
13 'You must celebrate the feast of Shelters for seven days, at the time when you gather in the produceof your threshing-floor and winepress.	13 Celebrerai pure per sette giorni la solennità dei tabernacoli, dopo raccolti dall'aia e dallo strettoio i tuoi frutti;
14 You must rejoice at your feast, you, your son and your daughter, your serving men and women, theLevite, the foreigner, the orphan and the widow living in your community.	14 farai banchetto in questa tua festa, tu, il figlio tuo e la figlia, il servo tuo e la serva, il levita ancora ed il forestiero, l'orfano e la vedova che stanno entro le tue porte.
15 For seven days, you must celebrate the feast for Yahweh your God in the place chosen by Yahweh;for Yahweh your God wil bless you in al your produce and in al your undertakings, so that you will have goodreason to rejoice.	15 Per sette giorni celebrerai la festa del Signore Dio tuo nel luogo che il Signore avrà eletto; ti benedirà il Signore Dio tuo in tutte le tue raccolte, in tutti i lavori delle tue mani, e sarai nella gioia.
16 'Three times a year al your menfolk must appear before Yahweh your God in the place chosen byhim: at the feast of Unleavened Bread, at the feast of Weeks, at the feast of Shelters. No one must appearempty-handed before Yahweh,	16 Tre volte all'anno si presenterà ogni tuo maschio al cospetto del Signore Dio tuo nel luogo che egli avrà eletto: nella solennità degli azzimi, nella solennità delle settimane e nella solennità de' tabernacoli. Non comparirà a mani vuote davanti al Signore;
17 but each must give what he can, in proportion to the blessing which Yahweh your God has bestowedon you.	17 ma ciascuno darà secondo che avrà, secondo la benedizione datagli dal Signore Dio suo.
18 'You must appoint judges and scribes in each of the towns that Yahweh your God is giving you, foral your tribes; these are to mete out proper justice to the people.	18 Stabilirai dei giudici e de' magistrati alle porte di tutte le città che il Signore Dio tuo ti darà in ognuna delle tue tribù, perchè giudichino il popolo con giusto giudizio,
19 You must not pervert the law; you must be impartial; you wil take no bribes, for a bribe blinds theeyes of the wise and ruins the cause of the upright.	19 senza parzialità verso una o l'altra parte. Non guarderai alle persone, nè riceverai doni; perchè i doni accecano gli occhi de' sapienti ed alterano le parole de' giusti.
20 Strict justice must be your ideal, so that you may live long in possession of the country given you byYahweh your God.	20 Tu avrai in mira la giustizia, per giustizia, affinchè tu viva, e tu possegga la terra che il Signore Dio tuo ti darà.
21 'You must not plant a sacred pole of any wood whatsoever beside the altar which you erect forYahweh your God;	21 Non pianterai boschetti nè albero alcuno presso l'altare del Signore Dio tuo;
22 nor wil you set up a standing-stone, a thing Yahweh your God would abhor.'	22 nè ti farai od innalzerai statue, che il Signore Dio tuo ha in odio.
