Zechariah 14

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Look, the Day of Yahweh is coming, when the spoils taken from you will be shared out among you.	1 Ecco, un giorno viene per il Signore e le tue spoglie saranno divise in te.
2 For I shal gather al the nations to Jerusalem for battle. The city wil be taken, the houses plundered,the women ravished. Half the city wil go into exile, but the rest of the people wil not be ejected from the city.	2 Radunerò tutte le genti a Gerusalemme per la battaglia. La città sarà presa, gli edifici saranno saccheggiati, le donne violentate. La metà dei cittadini andrà in esilio, ma il resto del mio popolo non sarà cacciato di città.
3 Then Yahweh wil sal y out and fight those nations as once he fought on the day of battle.	3 Il Signore uscirà a combattere contro quelle genti, come quando combatté nel giorno dello scontro.
4 When that day comes, his feet will rest on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east,and the Mount of Olives wil be split in half from east to west, forming a huge val ey; half the Mount will recedenorthwards, the other half southwards.	4 I suoi piedi staranno in quel giorno sopra il monte degli Ulivi, che è di fronte a Gerusalemme, a oriente. Il monte degli Ulivi si spaccherà in mezzo da oriente a occidente, formando un'immensa voragine: una parte del monte si ritirerà verso settentrione e l'altra verso mezzogiorno.
5 The valley between the hills wil be fil ed in, yes, it will be blocked as far as Jasol, it wil be fil ed in as it was by the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. And Yahweh my God will come, and al the holyones with him.	5 La valle di Innom sarà ricolma -- la valle di Innom si estende fino ad Asal -- sarà ricolma come fu ricolma in seguito al terremoto al tempo di Ozia, re di Giuda. Il Signore, mio Dio, verrà, e tutti i suoi santi con lui.
6 That Day, there wil be no light, but only cold and frost.	6 In quel giorno s'estinguerà la luce, non vi sarà più né freddo né gelo.
7 And it wil be one continuous day -- Yahweh knows -- there will be no more day and night, and it wilremain light right into the time of evening.	7 Sarà un giorno straordinario, noto solo al Signore; non vi sarà né giorno né notte e anche alla sera vi sarà luce.
8 When that Day comes, living waters wil issue from Jerusalem, half towards the eastern sea, halftowards the western sea; they will flow summer and winter.	8 In quel giorno usciranno acque vive da Gerusalemme: metà verso il mare d'oriente e metà verso il mare d'occidente; ci saranno d'estate e d'inverno.
9 Then Yahweh wil become king of the whole world. When that Day comes, Yahweh will be the one andonly and his name the one name.	9 Il Signore sarà re sopra tutta la terra. In quel giorno il Signore sarà unico e unico sarà il suo nome.
10 The entire country wil be transformed into plain, from Geba to Rimmon in the Negeb, but Jerusalemwil stand high in her place and be full of people from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the earlier gate, to theCorner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's wine-presses.	10 Tutto il paese sarà cambiato in pianura da Gàbaa fino a Rimmòn Negheb. Gerusalemme sarà sopraelevata, pur rimanendo nello stesso posto, dalla porta di Beniamino fino al posto della prima porta, fino alla porta dell'Angolo e dalla torre di Cananeèl fino ai torchi reali.
11 People wil make their homes there. The curse of destruction will be lifted; Jerusalem wil be safe tolive in.	11 Vi si abiterà. L'anatema non vi sarà più e Gerusalemme dimorerà in pace.
12 And this is the plague with which Yahweh will strike al the nations who have fought againstJerusalem; their flesh wil rot while they are stil standing on their feet; their eyes wil rot in their sockets; theirtongues wil rot in their mouths.	12 Questa sarà la piaga con cui il Signore colpirà i popoli che avranno mosso guerra contro Gerusalemme: farà marcire la carne di ciascuno, mentre si terrà ritto sui suoi piedi; i suoi occhi marciranno nelle loro orbite e la sua lingua marcirà nella sua bocca.
13 When that Day comes, a great terror will fal on them from Yahweh; each man wil grab hisneighbour's hand and they wil fal to fighting among themselves.	13 In quel giorno ci sarà per opera del Signore gran panico in mezzo a loro: uno afferrerà l'altro per la mano e la sua mano s'alzerà contro la mano dell'altro.
14 Even Judah will fight against Jerusalem. The wealth of al the surrounding nations wil be heapedtogether: gold, silver, clothing, in vast quantity.	14 Anche Giuda combatterà in Gerusalemme, e là sarà raccolta la ricchezza di tutti i popoli intorno: oro, argento e vesti in grande quantità.
15 And the plague afflicting the horses, mules, camels, donkeys and al the other animals in thosearmies wil be the same.	15 Ci sarà pure una piaga, simile alla prima, per i cavalli, i muli, i cammelli, gli asini e tutti gli animali che si troveranno in quegli accampamenti.
16 After this, al the survivors of al the nations which have attacked Jerusalem wil come up year afteryear to worship the King, Yahweh Sabaoth, and to keep the feast of Shelters.	16 Allora ogni sopravvissuto di tutte le genti venute contro Gerusalemme salirà di anno in anno per adorare il re, il Signore degli eserciti, e per celebrare la festa delle Capanne.
17 Should one of the races of the world fail to come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, YahwehSabaoth, there wil be no rain for that one.	17 Se una delle famiglie della terra non salirà a Gerusalemme per adorare il re, il Signore degli eserciti, sopra di essa non ci sarà la pioggia.
18 Should the race of Egypt fail to come up and pay its visit, on it wil fal the plague which Yahweh wilinflict on each of those nations which fail to come up to keep the feast of Shelters.	18 Se la famiglia d'Egitto non salirà e non verrà, sopra di essa ci sarà la piaga con cui il Signore colpirà le genti che non salgono per celebrare la solennità delle Capanne.
19 Such will be the punishment for Egypt and the punishment for all the nations which fail to come up tokeep the feast of Shelters.	19 Tale sarà il castigo per l'Egitto e per tutte le genti che non salgono per celebrare la solennità delle Capanne.
20 When that Day comes, the very bel s on the horses wil be inscribed with the words, 'Sacred toYahweh', and the cooking pots of the house of Yahweh wil be as holy as the sprinkling bowls before the altar.	20 In quel giorno su tutte le sonagliere dei cavalli vi sarà "Sacro al Signore" e nella casa del Signore le caldaie saranno come i bacili davanti all'altare.
21 Yes, every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shal be sacred to Yahweh Sabaoth, and al whocome to offer sacrifice will help themselves and do their cooking in them, and there wil be no more traders in the Temple of Yahweh Sabaoth, when that Day comes.	21 Ogni caldaia in Gerusalemme e in Giuda sarà consacrata al Signore degli eserciti. Quanti vorranno fare sacrifici verranno a prenderle per cuocervi le carni. In quel giorno non vi sarà più alcun cananeo nella casa del Signore degli eserciti.
