1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aronne e disse:
2 'The Israelites must pitch their tents, each man by his own standard, under their family emblems. Theymust pitch their tents round the Dwelling where the Testimony is, some distance away.	2 «Gli Israeliti si accamperanno ciascuno vicino alla sua insegna con i simboli dei loro casati paterni; si accamperanno di fronte alla tenda del convegno, tutt'intorno.
3 'Encamped on the east side: 'Furthest towards the east, the standard of the camp of Judah, unit byunit. Leader of the Judahites: Nahshon son of Amminadab.	3 Si accamperanno a oriente, verso levante, quelli dell'insegna dell'accampamento di Giuda secondo le loro schiere. Principe per i figli di Giuda è Nacson, figlio di Amminadàb,
4 His company: seventy-four thousand six hundred men.	4 e la sua schiera è di settantaquattromilaseicento censiti.
5 'Next to him: 'The tribe of Issachar. Leader of the Issacharites: Nethanel son of Zuar.	5 Si accamperanno accanto a lui quelli della tribù di Ìssacar. Principe per i figli di Ìssacar è Netanèl, figlio di Suar,
6 His company: fifty-four thousand four hundred men.	6 e la sua schiera è di cinquantaquattromilaquattrocento censiti.
7 'The tribe of Zebulun. Leader of the Zebulunites: Eliab son of Helon.	7 Poi la tribù di Zàbulon. Principe per i figli di Zàbulon è Eliàb, figlio di Chelon,
8 His company: fifty-seven thousand four hundred men.	8 e la sua schiera è di cinquantasettemilaquattrocento censiti.
9 'The tribal forces in the camp of Judah number in al a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred.These will be the first to break camp.	9 Il totale dei censiti per l’accampamento di Giuda è di centoottantaseimilaquattrocento uomini, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere. Leveranno le tende per primi.
10 'On the south side, the standard of the camp of Reuben, unit by unit. Leader of the Reubenites: Elizurson of Shedeur.	10 L'insegna dell'accampamento di Ruben, suddiviso secondo le sue schiere, starà a mezzogiorno. Principe per i figli di Ruben è Elisùr, figlio di Sedeùr,
11 His company: forty-six thousand five hundred men.	11 e la sua schiera è di quarantaseimilacinquecento censiti.
12 'Next to him: 'The tribe of Simeon. Leader of the Simeonites: Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.	12 Si accamperanno accanto a lui quelli della tribù di Simeone. Principe per i figli di Simeone è Selumièl, figlio di Surisaddài,
13 His company: fifty-nine thousand three hundred men.	13 e la sua schiera è di cinquantanovemilatrecento censiti.
14 'The tribe of Gad. Leader of the Gadites: Eliasaph son of Reuel.	14 Poi la tribù di Gad: principe per i figli di Gad è Eliasàf, figlio di Deuèl,
15 His company: forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty men.	15 e la sua schiera è di quarantacinquemilaseicentocinquanta censiti.
16 'The tribal forces in the camp of Reuben number in al a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundredand fifty. They will be second to break camp.	16 Il totale dei censiti per l’accampamento di Ruben è di centocinquantunmilaquattrocentocinquanta uomini, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere. Leveranno le tende per secondi.
17 'Next, the Tent of Meeting wil move, since the camp of the Levites is situated in the middle of the other camps. The order of movement wil be the order of encampment, each man under his own standard.	17 Poi si leverà la tenda del convegno con l'accampamento dei leviti in mezzo agli altri accampamenti. Come si erano accampati, così si leveranno, ciascuno al suo posto, suddivisi secondo le loro insegne.
18 'On the west side, the standard of the camp of Ephraim, unit by unit. Leader of the Ephraimites:Elishama son of Ammihud.	18 L’insegna dell’accampamento di Èfraim, suddiviso secondo le sue schiere, starà a occidente. Principe per i figli di Èfraim è Elisamà, figlio di Ammiùd,
19 His company: forty thousand five hundred men.	19 la sua schiera è di quarantamilacinquecento censiti.
20 'Next to him: 'The tribe of Manasseh. Leader of the Manassehites: Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.	20 Accanto a lui la tribù di Manasse. Principe per i figli di Manasse è Gamlièl, figlio di Pedasùr,
21 His company: thirty-two thousand two hundred men.	21 e la sua schiera è di trentaduemiladuecento censiti.
22 'The tribe of Benjamin. Leader of the Benjaminites: Abidan son of Gideoni.	22 Poi la tribù di Beniamino. Principe per i figli di Beniamino è Abidàn, figlio di Ghideonì,
23 His company: thirty-five thousand four hundred men.	23 e la sua schiera è di trentacinquemilaquattrocento censiti.
24 'The tribal forces in the camp of Ephraim number in all a hundred and eight thousand one hundred.They wil be third to break camp.	24 Il totale dei censiti per l'accampamento di Èfraim è di centoottomilacento uomini, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere. Leveranno le tende per terzi.
25 'On the north side, the standard of the camp of Dan, unit by unit. Leader of the Danites: Ahiezer sonof Ammishaddai.	25 L'insegna dell'accampamento di Dan, suddiviso secondo le sue schiere, starà a settentrione. Principe per i figli di Dan è Achièzer, figlio di Ammisaddài,
26 His company: sixty-two thousand seven hundred men.	26 e la sua schiera è di sessantaduemilasettecento censiti.
27 'Next to him: 'The tribe of Asher. Leader of the Asherites: Pagiel son of Ochran.	27 Si accamperanno accanto a lui quelli della tribù di Aser. Principe per i figli di Aser è Paghièl, figlio di Ocran,
28 His company: forty-one thousand five hundred men.	28 e la sua schiera è di quarantunmilacinquecento censiti.
29 'The tribe of Naphtali. Leader of the Naphtalites: Ahira son of Enan.	29 Poi la tribù di Nèftali. Principe per i figli di Nèftali è Achirà, figlio di Enan,
30 His company: fifty-three thousand four hundred men.	30 e la sua schiera è di cinquantatremilaquattrocento censiti.
31 'The tribal forces in the camp of Dan number in all a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred.They wil be the last to break camp. 'Al under their appropriate standards.'	31 Il totale dei censiti per l'accampamento di Dan è dunque centocinquantasettemilaseicento. Leveranno le tende per ultimi, suddivisi secondo le loro insegne».
32 Such was the tally of the Israelites when the census was taken by families. The ful count of the entirecamp, unit by unit, came to six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.	32 Questi sono i censiti degli Israeliti secondo i loro casati paterni, tutti i censiti degli accampamenti, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere: seicentotremilacinquecentocinquanta.
33 But, as Yahweh had ordered Moses, the Levites were not included in the census of the Israelites.	33 Ma i leviti non furono censiti in mezzo agli Israeliti, come il Signore aveva comandato a Mosè.
34 The Israelites did exactly as Yahweh had ordered Moses. This was how they pitched camp, groupedby standards. This was how they broke camp, each man in his own clan, each man with his own family.	34 Gli Israeliti eseguirono ogni cosa come il Signore aveva comandato a Mosè. Così si accampavano secondo le loro insegne e così levavano le tende, ciascuno secondo la sua famiglia in base al casato dei suoi padri.
