Ezekiel 39

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 'So, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against you,Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.	1 E tu, figlio dell'uomo, profetizza contro Gog, e di': « Così parla il Signore Dio: Eccomi a te, o Gog, principe sovrano di Mosoc e di Tubai.
2 I shal turn you about, lead you on, and bring you from the farthest north against the mountains ofIsrael.	2 Ed io ti menerò attorno e ti condurrò fuori, ti farò venire dall'estremo settentrione, e ti condurrò sui monti d'Israele,
3 I shal break the bow in your left hand and dash the arrows out of your right.	3 e spezzerò il tuo arco nella tua mano sinistra, e farò cadere le frecce dalla tua mano destra.
4 You will fal on the mountains of Israel, you, al your troops and the nations with you. I shall make youfood for every kind of bird of prey and wild animals.	4 Cadrai sopra i monti d'Israele tu e tutte le tue schiere e i popoli che son teco: ti ho dato a divorare alle fiere, agli uccelli, ai volatili d'ogni specie, alle bestie della terra.
5 You will fal in the wilds, for I have spoken -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	5 Tu cadrai sulla faccia del campo, perchè io ho parlato, — dice il Signore Dio. —
6 I shal send down fire on Magog and on those living undisturbed in the islands, and they wil know thatI am Yahweh.	6 E scaglierò fuoco contro Magog e contro quelli che abitano tranquillamente le isole, e sapranno che io sono il Signore.
7 I shal see that my holy name is acknowledged by my people Israel, and no longer al ow my holy nameto be profaned; and the nations wil know that I am Yahweh, holy in Israel.	7 E farò conoscere il mio santo nome in mezzo al mio popolo d'Israele e non lascerò più profanare il mio santo nome, e le nazioni sapranno che io sono il Signore, il Santo d'Israele.
8 "All this is to happen, al this is to take place -- declares the Lord Yahweh. This is the day I predicted.	8 Ecco viene, è compito — dice il Signore Dio: — questo è il giorno del quale ho parlato.
9 "The inhabitants of the towns of Israel wil go out and set fire to and burn the weapons, the shields andbucklers, bows and arrows, javelins and spears. They wil burn these for seven years	9 Allora gli abitanti delle città d'Israele usciranno, e getteranno sul fuoco e bruceranno le armi, lo scudo e le lance, l'arco e le frecce, i bastoni e le picche, e ci faranno il fuoco per sette anni.
10 and not fetch wood from the countryside or cut it in the forests, since they wil be burning theweapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and despoil those who despoiled them -- declares theLord Yahweh.	10 Non porteranno più legna dalla campagna, non ne taglieranno nei boschi ma faran fuoco colle armi, e deprederanno i loro predatori, spoglieranno i loro saccheggiatori — dice il Signore.
11 "That day, I shall give Gog a famous spot in Israel for his grave, the val ey of the Obarim, east of theSea -- the val ey that halts the travel er -- and there Gog and his whole throng wil be buried, and it wil be cal edthe Val ey of Hamon-Gog.	11 E in quel giorno io assegnerò a Gog un luogo famoso per sepolcro in Israele, la Valle dei passanti, ad oriente del mare, la quale farà restare stupefatto chi passa: ivi sarà seppellito Gog e tutta la sua moltitudine, e quella sarà chiamata Valle della moltitudine di Gog.
12 The House of Israel will take seven months to bury them and cleanse the country.	12 E in sette mesi la casa d'Israele li seppellirà per purificare la terra.
13 Al the people of the country wil dig their graves, thus winning themselves renown, the day when Idisplay my glory -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	13 Li seppellirà tutto il popolo della terra, e sarà per loro un giorno famoso quello nel quale io sono stato glorificato — dice il Signore Dio.
14 And men wil be detailed to the permanent duty of going through the country and burying those leftabove ground and cleansing it. They wil begin their search once the seven months are over,	14 E stabiliranno degli uomini coll'incarico di girare continuamente il paese per seppellire e ricercare i rimasti sopra la faccia della terra, per purificarla: cominceranno a far le ricerche dopo sette mesi.
15 and as they go through the country, if one of them sees any human bones, he wil set up a markerbeside them until the gravediggers have buried them in the val ey of Hamon-Gog	15 E gireranno e percorreranno il paese, e, veduto un osso di uomo, vi porranno a lato un segno, fino a che i becchini non lo seppelliscano nella Valle della moltitudine di Gog.
16 (and Hamonah is also the name of a town) and have cleansed the country."	16 E il nome della città sarà Amona. E così purificheranno la terra.
17 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Say to the birds of every kind and to al the wild animals:Muster, come, gather from everywhere around for the sacrifice I am making for you, a great sacrifice on themountains of Israel, so that you can eat flesh and drink blood.	17 Ora a te, o figlio dell'uomo, così parla il Signore Dio: Di' ai volatili e agli uccelli d'ogni specie e a tutte le bestie della campagna: Radunatevi, affrettatevi, accorrete da ogni parte alla mia vittima che immolo per voi, vittima grande (immolata) sui monti d'Israele, a mangiare la carne, a bere il sangue.
18 You wil eat the flesh of heroes, you wil drink the blood of the princes of the world. They are al ramsand lambs, goats and fat bul s of Bashan.	18 Voi mangerete le carni dei forti e berrete il sangue dei principi della forra, arieti, agnelli, capri, tori, volatili ingrassati, e tutte le bestie grasse,
19 You wil glut yourselves on fat and drink yourselves drunk on blood at this sacrifice I am making foryou.	19 e mungerete grasso a sazietà, e fino all'ubriachezza berrete il sangue della vittima da me immolata per voi,
20 You wil glut yourselves at my table on horses and chargers, on heroes and every kind of warrior --declares the Lord Yahweh."	20 e alla mia tavola vi sazierete di cavalli e di forti cavalieri, di guerrieri d'ogni sorta — dice il Signore Dio.
21 'I shal display my glory to the nations, and al nations wil see my sentence when I inflict it and myhand when I strike them.	21 E manifesterò la mia gloria tra le nazioni, e tutte le nazioni vedranno la giustizia da me fatto, e la mia mano stesa sopra di loro.
22 The House of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God, from that day forward for ever.	22 E la casa d'Israele saprà che io sono il Signore suo Dio da quel giorno per sempre.
23 The nations too wil know that the House of Israel were exiled for their guilt; because they wereunfaithful to me, I hid my face from them and put them into the clutches of their enemies, so that they all fel bythe sword.	23 E le nazioni sapranno che per la sua iniquità la casa d'Israele è andavi in esilio, perchè mi hanno abito donato, ed io ho nascosto ad essi la mia faccia, e li ho abbandonati nelle mani dei nemici, e tutti perirono sotto la spada.
24 I treated them as their loathsome acts of infidelity deserved and hid my face from them.	24 Secondo le loro immondezze e le loro scelleratezze io li ho trattati ed ho nascosta ad essi la mia faccia.
25 'So, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now I shal bring Jacob's captives back and take pity on the wholeHouse of Israel and show myself jealous for my holy name.	25 Per questo, così parla il Signore Dio: Ora farò tornare gli esuli di Giacobbe e avrò pietà di tutta la casa d'Israele, e mi armerò di zelo per il mio nome santo.
26 They will forget their disgrace and al the acts of infidelity which they committed against me whenthey were living safely in their own country, with no one to disturb them.	26 Ed essi porteranno la loro confusione e tutte le prevaricazioni che han commesse contro di me, quando abiteranno nella loro terra tranquilli senza aver paura di nessuno.
27 When I bring them home from the peoples, when I gather them back from the countries of theirenemies, when I display my holiness in them for many nations to see,	27 Quando li avrò fatti ritornare di mezzo ai popoli e li avrò radunati dalle terre dei loro nemici e in essi avrò fatto conoscere la mia santità dinanzi agli occhi di moltissime genti.
28 they wil know that I am Yahweh their God who, having sent them into exile among the nations, havereunited them in their own country, not leaving a single one behind.	28 Essi riconosceranno ch'io sono il Signore loro Dio, avendoli io deportati fra le nazioni e radunati nella loro terra, senza lasciar là un solo di essi.
29 I shal never hide my face from them again, since I shal pour out my spirit on the House of Israel --declares the Lord Yahweh." '	29 Ed io non nasconderò più loro la mia faccia, perchè ho diffuso il mio spirito su tutta la casa d'Israele -— dice il Signore Dio ».
