1 'So, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against you,Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.	1 ואתה בן אדם הנבא על גוג ואמרת כה אמר אדני יהוה הנני אליך גוג נשיא ראש משך ותבל
2 I shal turn you about, lead you on, and bring you from the farthest north against the mountains ofIsrael.	2 ושבבתיך וששאתיך והעליתיך מירכתי צפון והבאותך על הרי ישראל
3 I shal break the bow in your left hand and dash the arrows out of your right.	3 והכיתי קשתך מיד שמאולך וחציך מיד ימינך אפיל
4 You will fal on the mountains of Israel, you, al your troops and the nations with you. I shall make youfood for every kind of bird of prey and wild animals.	4 על הרי ישראל תפול אתה וכל אגפיך ועמים אשר אתך לעיט צפור כל כנף וחית השדה נתתיך לאכלה
5 You will fal in the wilds, for I have spoken -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	5 על פני השדה תפול כי אני דברתי נאם אדני יהוה
6 I shal send down fire on Magog and on those living undisturbed in the islands, and they wil know thatI am Yahweh.	6 ושלחתי אש במגוג ובישבי האיים לבטח וידעו כי אני יהוה
7 I shal see that my holy name is acknowledged by my people Israel, and no longer al ow my holy nameto be profaned; and the nations wil know that I am Yahweh, holy in Israel.	7 ואת שם קדשי אודיע בתוך עמי ישראל ולא אחל את שם קדשי עוד וידעו הגוים כי אני יהוה קדוש בישראל
8 "All this is to happen, al this is to take place -- declares the Lord Yahweh. This is the day I predicted.	8 הנה באה ונהיתה נאם אדני יהוה הוא היום אשר דברתי
9 "The inhabitants of the towns of Israel wil go out and set fire to and burn the weapons, the shields andbucklers, bows and arrows, javelins and spears. They wil burn these for seven years	9 ויצאו ישבי ערי ישראל ובערו והשיקו בנשק ומגן וצנה בקשת ובחצים ובמקל יד וברמח ובערו בהם אש שבע שנים
10 and not fetch wood from the countryside or cut it in the forests, since they wil be burning theweapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and despoil those who despoiled them -- declares theLord Yahweh.	10 ולא ישאו עצים מן השדה ולא יחטבו מן היערים כי בנשק יבערו אש ושללו את שלליהם ובזזו את בזזיהם נאם אדני יהוה
11 "That day, I shall give Gog a famous spot in Israel for his grave, the val ey of the Obarim, east of theSea -- the val ey that halts the travel er -- and there Gog and his whole throng wil be buried, and it wil be cal edthe Val ey of Hamon-Gog.	11 והיה ביום ההוא אתן לגוג מקום שם קבר בישראל גי העברים קדמת הים וחסמת היא את העברים וקברו שם את גוג ואת כל המונה וקראו גיא המון גוג
12 The House of Israel will take seven months to bury them and cleanse the country.	12 וקברום בית ישראל למען טהר את הארץ שבעה חדשים
13 Al the people of the country wil dig their graves, thus winning themselves renown, the day when Idisplay my glory -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	13 וקברו כל עם הארץ והיה להם לשם יום הכבדי נאם אדני יהוה
14 And men wil be detailed to the permanent duty of going through the country and burying those leftabove ground and cleansing it. They wil begin their search once the seven months are over,	14 ואנשי תמיד יבדילו עברים בארץ מקברים את העברים את הנותרים על פני הארץ לטהרה מקצה שבעה חדשים יחקרו
15 and as they go through the country, if one of them sees any human bones, he wil set up a markerbeside them until the gravediggers have buried them in the val ey of Hamon-Gog	15 ועברו העברים בארץ וראה עצם אדם ובנה אצלו ציון עד קברו אתו המקברים אל גיא המון גוג
16 (and Hamonah is also the name of a town) and have cleansed the country."	16 וגם שם עיר המונה וטהרו הארץ
17 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Say to the birds of every kind and to al the wild animals:Muster, come, gather from everywhere around for the sacrifice I am making for you, a great sacrifice on themountains of Israel, so that you can eat flesh and drink blood.	17 ואתה בן אדם כה אמר אדני יהוה אמר לצפור כל כנף ולכל חית השדה הקבצו ובאו האספו מסביב על זבחי אשר אני זבח לכם זבח גדול על הרי ישראל ואכלתם בשר ושתיתם דם
18 You wil eat the flesh of heroes, you wil drink the blood of the princes of the world. They are al ramsand lambs, goats and fat bul s of Bashan.	18 בשר גבורים תאכלו ודם נשיאי הארץ תשתו אילים כרים ועתודים פרים מריאי בשן כלם
19 You wil glut yourselves on fat and drink yourselves drunk on blood at this sacrifice I am making foryou.	19 ואכלתם חלב לשבעה ושתיתם דם לשכרון מזבחי אשר זבחתי לכם
20 You wil glut yourselves at my table on horses and chargers, on heroes and every kind of warrior --declares the Lord Yahweh."	20 ושבעתם על שלחני סוס ורכב גבור וכל איש מלחמה נאם אדני יהוה
21 'I shal display my glory to the nations, and al nations wil see my sentence when I inflict it and myhand when I strike them.	21 ונתתי את כבודי בגוים וראו כל הגוים את משפטי אשר עשיתי ואת ידי אשר שמתי בהם
22 The House of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God, from that day forward for ever.	22 וידעו בית ישראל כי אני יהוה אלהיהם מן היום ההוא והלאה
23 The nations too wil know that the House of Israel were exiled for their guilt; because they wereunfaithful to me, I hid my face from them and put them into the clutches of their enemies, so that they all fel bythe sword.	23 וידעו הגוים כי בעונם גלו בית ישראל על אשר מעלו בי ואסתר פני מהם ואתנם ביד צריהם ויפלו בחרב כלם
24 I treated them as their loathsome acts of infidelity deserved and hid my face from them.	24 כטמאתם וכפשעיהם עשיתי אתם ואסתר פני מהם
25 'So, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now I shal bring Jacob's captives back and take pity on the wholeHouse of Israel and show myself jealous for my holy name.	25 לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה עתה אשיב את שבית יעקב ורחמתי כל בית ישראל וקנאתי לשם קדשי
26 They will forget their disgrace and al the acts of infidelity which they committed against me whenthey were living safely in their own country, with no one to disturb them.	26 ונשו את כלמתם ואת כל מעלם אשר מעלו בי בשבתם על אדמתם לבטח ואין מחריד
27 When I bring them home from the peoples, when I gather them back from the countries of theirenemies, when I display my holiness in them for many nations to see,	27 בשובבי אותם מן העמים וקבצתי אתם מארצות איביהם ונקדשתי בם לעיני הגוים רבים
28 they wil know that I am Yahweh their God who, having sent them into exile among the nations, havereunited them in their own country, not leaving a single one behind.	28 וידעו כי אני יהוה אלהיהם בהגלותי אתם אל הגוים וכנסתים על אדמתם ולא אותיר עוד מהם שם
29 I shal never hide my face from them again, since I shal pour out my spirit on the House of Israel --declares the Lord Yahweh." '	29 ולא אסתיר עוד פני מהם אשר שפכתי את רוחי על בית ישראל נאם אדני יהוה
