1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If anyone vows the value of a person to Yahweh and wishes todischarge the vow:	2 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Chi avrà fatto un voto ed avrà promesso a Dio l'anima sua, pagherà il prezzo secondo la stima:
3 "a man between twenty and sixty years of age wil be valued at fifty silver shekels -- the sanctuaryshekel;	3 se è un maschio dai venti anni ai sessanta darà cinquanta sicli d'argento, secondo il siclo del santuario;
4 a woman wil be valued at thirty shekels;	4 se è una donna, trenta.
5 "between five and twenty years, a boy wil be valued at twenty shekels, a girl at ten shekels;	5 Dai cinque ai vent'anni l'uomo darà venti sicli; la donna dieci.
6 "between one month and five years, a boy wil be valued at five silver shekels, a girl at three silvershekels;	6 Da un mese a cinque anni sarà dato per un bambino cinque sicli, per una bambina tre.
7 "at sixty years and over, a man will be valued at fifteen shekels and a woman at ten shekels.	7 Da sessant'anni in là, l'uomo darà quindici sicli; la donna dieci.
8 "If the person who made the vow cannot meet this valuation, he wil present the person concerned tothe priest, and the priest wil set a value proportionate to the resources of the person who made the vow.	8 Un povero che non possa pagare l'estimazione si presenterà al sacerdote e darà quello che questi giudicherà e vedrà che egli possa dare.
9 "In the case of an animal suitable for offering to Yahweh, any such animal given to Yahweh wil beholy.	9 Se uno fa voto d'un animale che può essere immolato al Signore, l'animale sarà cosa santa,
10 It cannot be exchanged or replaced, a good one instead of a bad one, or a bad one instead of a goodone. If one animal is substituted for another, both of them wil become holy.	10 e non potrà cambiarsi, cioè non si potrà darne uno migliore pel cattivo, o uno peggiore pel buono; e se viene sostituito, tanto il cambiato che quello con cui si è cambiato sarà consacrato al Signore.
11 In the case of an unclean animal unsuitable for offering to Yahweh, whatever it may be, it will bepresented to the priest	11 Se uno fa voto d'un animale immondo, che non può essere immolato al Signore, lo conduca al sacerdote,
12 and he wil set a value on it, in relation to its worth. His valuation will be decisive;	12 Il quale, veduto se l'animale è buono o cattivo, ne fisserà il prezzo.
13 but if the person wishes to redeem it, he will add one-fifth to the valuation.	13 Se poi l'offerente volesse riscattarlo, aggiungerà un quinto sopra la stima.
14 "If a man consecrates his house to Yahweh, the priest wil set a value on it, in relation to its worth. Hisvaluation wil be decisive.	14 Se uno la voto della sua casa e la consacra al Signore, il sacerdote esaminerà se è buona o cattiva, e sarà venduta al prezzo da lui fissato;
15 If the man who has vowed his house wishes to redeem it, he wil add one-fifth to the valuation, and itwil revert to him.	15 se poi chi ha fatto il voto volesse riscattarla, avrà la casa, dato che abbia il quinto sopra la stima.
16 "If a man consecrates one of the fields of his ancestral property to Yahweh, its value wil becalculated in terms of its yield, at the rate of fifty silver shekels to one homer of barley.	16 Se uno fa voto d'un campo dei suoi possessi e lo consacra al Signore, se ne farà la stima in ragione della sementa: se il campo è seminato con tritata moggia d'orzo, si venderà per cinquanta sicli d'argento.
17 "If he consecrates the field during the jubilee year, he wil abide by this valuation.	17 Se fa voto del campo fin dal principiar del giubileo, sarà stimato quanto può valere;
18 But if he consecrates it after the jubilee, the priest wil calculate the price in terms of the number ofyears stil to run until the next jubilee and the valuation wil be reduced accordingly.	18 se fa il voto qualche tempo dopo, il sacerdote calcolerà il prezzo secondo gli anni che mancano al giubileo, e si farà una detrazione dalla stima.
19 "If he wishes to redeem the field, he wil add one-fifth to the valuation, and the field wil revert to him.	19 E se colui che ha fatto il voto vorrà riscattare il campo, se lo terrà dopo avere aggiunto un quinto al prezzo di stima.
20 If he does not redeem it but sel s it to someone else, the right of redemption ceases;	20 Se poi non vorrà riscattarlo e verrà quindi venduto ad un altro, chi ne ha fatto voto non potrà riscattarlo;
21 when the purchaser has to vacate it at the jubilee year, it becomes consecrated to Yahweh, like afield vowed unconditional y; ownership of it passes to the priest.	21 perchè venuto il giubileo, sarà consacrato al Signore, e come terra consacrata apparterrà di diritto ai sacerdoti.
22 "If he consecrates to Yahweh a field which he has bought, but which is not part of his ancestralproperty,	22 Se il campo consacrato al Signore è stato comprato e non fa parte dell'eredità dei maggiori,
23 the priest wil calculate the valuation in terms of the number of years stil to run before the jubileeyear; and the man wil pay this sum the same day since it is consecrated to Yahweh.	23 Il sacerdote ne fisserà il prezzo secondo gli anni che mancano al giubileo, e chi ha fatto il voto darà tale prezzo al Signore.
24 In the jubilee year the field wil revert to the vendor, the man to whose ancestral property the landbelongs.	24 Nel giubileo la terra tornerà al primo padrone che l'aveva venduta e del cui patrimonio faceva parte.
25 All your valuations will be made in sanctuary shekels, at the rate of twenty gerah to the shekel.	25 Ogni stima si farà in sicli, del santuario. Il siclo vale venti oboli.
26 "The first-born of livestock is born to Yahweh; no one may consecrate it, whether it be cattle or sheep, for it belongs to Yahweh anyway.	26 Nessuno potrà consacrar con voto i primogeniti che appartengono al Signore. Se è un bue o una pecora, appartiene al Signore,
27 But if it is an unclean animal, it may be redeemed at the valuation price with one-fifth added; if theanimal is not redeemed, it wil be sold at the valuation price.	27 se è animale immondo, chi l'ha offerto lo riscatterà, pagando quanto è stimato più un quinto; se non lo vuole riscattare sarà venduto al prezzo della stima.
28 "Nothing, however, that someone vows unconditional y to Yahweh may be redeemed, nothing hepossesses, be it a human being or animal or field of his ancestral property. What is vowed unconditional y isespecial y holy and belongs to Yahweh.	28 Tutto quello che è consacrato al Signore, uomo, animale o campo che sia, non potrà esser nè venduto nè riscattato. Qualunque cosa sia stata una volta consacrata, sarà sacrosanta al Signore,
29 A human being vowed unconditional y cannot be redeemed but wil be put to death.	29 Ogni cosa consacrata e offerta dall'uomo non sarà riscattata, ma verrà messa a morte.
30 "Al tithes on land, levied on the produce of the soil or on the fruit of trees, belong to Yahweh; they areconsecrated to Yahweh.	30 Ogni decima della terra, sia dei frutti dei campi che degli alberi è del Signore ed è consacrata a lui.
31 If anyone wishes to redeem part of his tithe, he will add one-fifth to its value.	31 E se uno vorrà riscattare le sue decime vi aggiungerà il quinto.
32 "In al tithes on herds or flocks, the tenth animal of al that pass under the herdsman's staff wil beconsecrated to Yahweh;	32 Nelle decime dei buoi, delle pecore e delle capre, ogni decimo capo che passa sotto la verga del pastore sarà consacrato al Signore.
33 there wil be no examining whether it is good or bad, and no substitution. If substitution takes place,the animal and its substitute wil both become holy without possibility of redemption." '	33 Non si sceglierà nè il buono nè il cattivo, nè potrà sostituirsi: se si sostituisce un animale all'altro, saran consacrati al Signore tutt'e due e non potran riscattarsi ».
34 Such were the orders which Yahweh gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites.	34 Questi sono i comandamenti che il Signore diede a Mosè per i figli d'Israele nel monte Sinai.
