1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Yahvé dit à Moïse:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "If anyone vows the value of a person to Yahweh and wishes todischarge the vow:	2 “Voici ce que tu diras aux Israélites: voici le prix du rachat d’une personne que l’on a consacrée à Yahvé par un vœu.
3 "a man between twenty and sixty years of age wil be valued at fifty silver shekels -- the sanctuaryshekel;	3 S’il s’agit d’un homme de 20 à 60 ans, tu l’estimeras à 50 sicles d’argent selon le sicle du sanctuaire.
4 a woman wil be valued at thirty shekels;	4 Si c’est une femme, ton estimation sera de 30 sicles.
5 "between five and twenty years, a boy wil be valued at twenty shekels, a girl at ten shekels;	5 Un garçon de cinq à 20 ans, sera estimé à 20 sicles, une fille du même âge à 10 sicles.
6 "between one month and five years, a boy wil be valued at five silver shekels, a girl at three silvershekels;	6 Un garçon d’un mois à cinq ans sera estimé à cinq sicles d’argent, une fille du même âge à trois sicles d’argent.
7 "at sixty years and over, a man will be valued at fifteen shekels and a woman at ten shekels.	7 Au-dessus de 60 ans, un homme sera estimé à 15 sicles, une femme à 10 sicles.
8 "If the person who made the vow cannot meet this valuation, he wil present the person concerned tothe priest, and the priest wil set a value proportionate to the resources of the person who made the vow.	8 Si celui qui a fait le vœu est trop pauvre pour payer le rachat, on le présentera devant le prêtre qui fera une estimation, en tenant compte des moyens de celui qui a fait le vœu.
9 "In the case of an animal suitable for offering to Yahweh, any such animal given to Yahweh wil beholy.	9 Si on offre à Yahvé un animal, il est donné à Yahvé. Il est donc consacré,
10 It cannot be exchanged or replaced, a good one instead of a bad one, or a bad one instead of a goodone. If one animal is substituted for another, both of them wil become holy.	10 on ne le changera pas. On ne mettra pas une vilaine bête à la place d’une bonne, ni une bonne à la place d’une vilaine. Si l’on remplace un animal par un autre, ils seront l’un et l’autre consacrés.
11 In the case of an unclean animal unsuitable for offering to Yahweh, whatever it may be, it will bepresented to the priest	11 S’il s’agit d’un animal impur, que l’on ne peut offrir à Yahvé, on présentera l’animal au prêtre.
12 and he wil set a value on it, in relation to its worth. His valuation will be decisive;	12 Le prêtre en fera l’estimation selon qu’il le trouve bon ou mauvais et l’on se fiera à l’estimation du prêtre.
13 but if the person wishes to redeem it, he will add one-fifth to the valuation.	13 Si l’on veut le racheter, on ajoutera un cinquième au prix de l’estimation.
14 "If a man consecrates his house to Yahweh, the priest wil set a value on it, in relation to its worth. Hisvaluation wil be decisive.	14 Si quelqu’un consacre sa maison en la vouant à Yahvé, le prêtre en fera l’estimation selon qu’elle est bonne ou mauvaise et l’on s’en tiendra à l’estimation du prêtre.
15 If the man who has vowed his house wishes to redeem it, he wil add one-fifth to the valuation, and itwil revert to him.	15 Si celui qui a voué sa maison veut la racheter, il ajoutera un cinquième au prix de l’estimation et elle lui reviendra.
16 "If a man consecrates one of the fields of his ancestral property to Yahweh, its value wil becalculated in terms of its yield, at the rate of fifty silver shekels to one homer of barley.	16 Si quelqu’un consacre à Yahvé une partie de son champ, l’estimation se fera d’après la quantité de semence que reçoit ce champ, à raison de 50 sicles d’argent pour une mesure de semence d’orge.
17 "If he consecrates the field during the jubilee year, he wil abide by this valuation.	17 Si quelqu’un consacre son champ l’année même du Jubilé, on s’en tiendra à cette estimation.
18 But if he consecrates it after the jubilee, the priest wil calculate the price in terms of the number ofyears stil to run until the next jubilee and the valuation wil be reduced accordingly.	18 Mais s’il consacre son champ après le Jubilé, le prêtre évaluera le prix d’après le nombre d’années qui restent jusqu’au prochain Jubilé. Et il fera une réduction sur son estimation.
19 "If he wishes to redeem the field, he wil add one-fifth to the valuation, and the field wil revert to him.	19 Si celui qui a consacré son champ veut le racheter, il ajoutera un cinquième au prix de l’estimation et le champ lui reviendra.
20 If he does not redeem it but sel s it to someone else, the right of redemption ceases;	20 Mais s’il ne rachète pas le champ et qu’on l’a vendu à un autre, le champ ne pourra plus être racheté.
21 when the purchaser has to vacate it at the jubilee year, it becomes consecrated to Yahweh, like afield vowed unconditional y; ownership of it passes to the priest.	21 Et quand viendra l’année du Jubilé, le champ sera voué à Yahvé comme un champ voué par anathème. Il deviendra la propriété du prêtre.
22 "If he consecrates to Yahweh a field which he has bought, but which is not part of his ancestralproperty,	22 Si quelqu’un consacre à Yahvé un champ qui ne faisait pas partie de son patrimoine, mais qu’il a acheté,
23 the priest wil calculate the valuation in terms of the number of years stil to run before the jubileeyear; and the man wil pay this sum the same day since it is consecrated to Yahweh.	23 le prêtre en calculera le prix selon la date de l’année du Jubilé. Cet homme paiera le jour même le prix fixé, et ce paiement sera une chose sainte pour Yahvé.
24 In the jubilee year the field wil revert to the vendor, the man to whose ancestral property the landbelongs.	24 À l’année du Jubilé le champ reviendra à celui qui l’avait vendu et au patrimoine duquel il appartenait.
25 All your valuations will be made in sanctuary shekels, at the rate of twenty gerah to the shekel.	25 Toutes tes estimations seront faites en sicles du sanctuaire. Le sicle est de 20 guéras.
26 "The first-born of livestock is born to Yahweh; no one may consecrate it, whether it be cattle or sheep, for it belongs to Yahweh anyway.	26 Cependant personne ne pourra consacrer le premier-né de son bétail, car le premier-né, veau ou brebis, appartient déjà à Yahvé.
27 But if it is an unclean animal, it may be redeemed at the valuation price with one-fifth added; if theanimal is not redeemed, it wil be sold at the valuation price.	27 S’il s’agit d’un animal impur, on le rachètera au prix de ton estimation en y ajoutant un cinquième, et s’il n’est pas racheté, il sera vendu selon ton estimation.
28 "Nothing, however, that someone vows unconditional y to Yahweh may be redeemed, nothing hepossesses, be it a human being or animal or field of his ancestral property. What is vowed unconditional y isespecial y holy and belongs to Yahweh.	28 Mais lorsqu’on aura voué à Yahvé par anathème une personne, un animal ou un champ qui font partie de son patrimoine, ceux-ci ne pourront ni être vendus, ni être rachetés, car tout ce qui est voué à la mort par anathème, appartient à Yahvé et à lui seul. C’est une chose très sainte.
29 A human being vowed unconditional y cannot be redeemed but wil be put to death.	29 C’est pourquoi aucune personne vouée par anathème ne pourra être rachetée: elle sera mise à mort.
30 "Al tithes on land, levied on the produce of the soil or on the fruit of trees, belong to Yahweh; they areconsecrated to Yahweh.	30 La dîme prélevée sur les semences de la terre ou sur les fruits des arbres appartient à Yahvé: c’est une part consacrée à Yahvé.
31 If anyone wishes to redeem part of his tithe, he will add one-fifth to its value.	31 Si quelqu’un veut racheter quelque chose de sa dîme, il y ajoutera un cinquième.
32 "In al tithes on herds or flocks, the tenth animal of al that pass under the herdsman's staff wil beconsecrated to Yahweh;	32 Le dixième du gros et du petit bétail, de tout ce qui fait partie du troupeau, sera consacré comme dîme à Yahvé.
33 there wil be no examining whether it is good or bad, and no substitution. If substitution takes place,the animal and its substitute wil both become holy without possibility of redemption." '	33 On ne fera pas de choix entre bon et mauvais, on ne remplacera pas l’un par l’autre. Et si l’on fait un échange, la bête remplacée et celle qui la remplace seront consacrées: on ne pourra les racheter.”
34 Such were the orders which Yahweh gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites.	34 Tels sont les commandements que Yahvé donna à Moïse pour les Israélites sur la montagne du Sinaï.
