Leviticus 13

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,	1 O Senhor disse a Moisés e a Aarão:
2 'If a swel ing or scab or spot appears on someone's skin, which could develop into a contagious skin-disease, that person must then be taken to the priest, either Aaron or one of his sons.	2 "Quando um homem tiver um tumor, uma inflamação ou uma mancha branca na pele de seu corpo, e esta se tornar em sua pele uma chaga de lepra, ele será levado a Aarão, o sacerdote, ou a um dos seus filhos sacerdotes.
3 The priest wil examine the disease on the skin. If the hair on the diseased part has turned white, or ifthe disease bites into the skin, the skin-disease is contagious, and after examination the priest wil declare theperson unclean.	3 O sacerdote examinará o mal que houver na pele do corpo: se o cabelo se tornou branco naquele lugar, e a chaga parecer mais funda que a pele, será uma chaga de lepra. O sacerdote verificará o fato e declarará impuro o homem.
4 But if there is a white spot on the skin without any visible depression of the skin or whitening of thehair, the priest wil isolate the sick person for seven days.	4 Se houver na pele de seu corpo uma mancha branca que não parecer mais funda que a pele sã, e o cabelo não se tiver tornado branco, o sacerdote isolará o doente durante sete dias.
5 On the seventh day he wil examine the person, and if he observes that the disease persists thoughwithout spreading over the skin, he will isolate the person for a further seven days	5 No sétimo dia examinará: se a chaga parecer não ter progredido e não se tiver estendido pela pele, isolá-lo-á uma segunda vez durante sete dias.
6 and examine him again on the seventh. If he finds that the disease has faded and has not spread overthe skin, the priest wil declare the person clean. This was merely a scab. Once he has washed his clothing hewil be clean.	6 No sétimo dia o sacerdote o examinará novamente: se a parte afetada perdeu a sua cor e não se tiver estendido por sobre a pele, declará-lo-á puro; é dartro. O homem lavará suas vestes e será puro.
7 'But if the scab spreads over the skin after the sick person has been examined by the priest anddeclared clean, then he wil let himself be examined again by the priest.	7 Mas se o dartro se tiver estendido por sobre a pele, depois de se ter mostrado ao sacerdote para ser declarado puro, se lhe mostrará uma segunda vez.
8 After examining him and certifying the spread of the scab over the skin, the priest wil declare himunclean: it is a contagious skin-disease.	8 Se o sacerdote verificar a extensão do dartro por sobre a pele, declará-lo-á impuro: é lepra.
9 'Someone who has a contagious skin-disease must be taken to the priest.	9 " Quando um homem for atingido pela lepra, será conduzido ao sacerdote, que o examinará.
10 The priest wil examine the sick person, and if he finds a whitish swel ing with whitening of the hairand an ulcer forming on the skin,	10 Se houver na sua pele um tumor branco, e este tiver branqueado o cabelo, e aparecer a carne viva no tumor,
11 this is a dormant skin-disease, and the priest wil declare the person unclean. He wil not isolate him;he is obviously unclean.	11 é lepra inveterada na pele de seu corpo; o sacerdote o declarará impuro; não o encerrará, porque é imundo.
12 'But if the disease spreads all through the skin, if it covers the person entirely from head to foot so faras the priest can see,	12 Se a chaga se estendeu por toda a pele do doente, da cabeça aos pés, o sacerdote que o examinar, verificando, segundo o que viu,
13 the priest wil then examine the sick person and, if he finds that the skin-disease covers his wholebody, declare the sick person clean. Since it has al become white, he is clean.	13 que a lepra cobre toda a pele, o declarará puro. Como se tornou completamente branco, é puro.
14 But as soon as an ulcer appears on him, he wil be unclean.	14 Mas no dia em que se perceber nele a carne viva, será impuro;
15 After examining the ulcer, the priest will declare him unclean: the ulcer is unclean, it is contagious.	15 o sacerdote, vendo a carne viva, declará-lo-á impuro; a carne viva é impura; é a lepra.
16 But if the ulcer becomes white again, the sick person wil go to the priest;	16 Se a carne viva mudar e ficar de novo branca, o homem irá ao sacerdote, que o examinará;
17 the priest wil examine him and if he finds that the disease has turned white, he wil declare the sickperson clean: he is clean.	17 se a chaga se tornou verdadeiramente branca, o sacerdote declará-lo-á puro: e ele o é.
18 'When an ulcer appears on someone's skin, and then gets better,	18 Quando um homem tiver tido na pele de seu corpo uma úlcera que foi curada,
19 and if then a white swel ing or a reddish-white spot forms on the same place, the sick person wilshow himself to the priest.	19 e no lugar da úlcera aparecer um tumor branco ou uma mancha de um branco-avermelhado, esse homem se apresentará ao sacerdote para ser examinado.
20 The priest wil examine him, and if he finds a visible depression in the skin and a whitening of thehair, he wil declare the person unclean: this is a case of contagious skin-disease breaking out in an ulcer.	20 Se a mancha parecer mais funda que a pele, e o cabelo se tiver tornado branco, o sacerdote declará-lo-á impuro: é uma chaga de lepra que nasceu na úlcera.
21 But if on examination the priest finds neither white hair nor depression of the skin, but a fading of theaffected part, he wil isolate the sick person for seven days.	21 Mas, se o sacerdote verificar que não há cabelo branco na mancha, e ela não parecer mais funda que a pele, e se tiver tornado de uma cor pálida, isolará esse homem durante sete dias.
22 If the disease has then spread over the skin, he will declare the person unclean: this is a case ofcontagious skin-disease.	22 Se a mancha se estender por sobre a pele, o sacerdote declarará o homem impuro: é uma chaga de lepra.
23 But if the spot has stayed where it was and has not spread, it is the scar of the ulcer and the priestwil declare the person clean.	23 Mas, se a mancha ficou no seu lugar sem se estender, é a cicatriz da úlcera; o sacerdote declará-lo-á puro.
24 'If someone has a burn on the skin and an abscess, a reddish-white or white spot, forms on the burn,	24 Quando um homem tiver na pele uma queimadura de fogo, e a cicatriz dessa queimadura apresentar uma mancha branca ou de um branco-avermelhado, o sacerdote o examinará.
25 the priest wil then examine it. If he finds a whitening of the hair or a visible depression of the mark onthe skin, a contagious disease has broken out in the burn. The priest wil declare the sick person unclean: this isa contagious skin-disease.	25 Se o cabelo se tornou branco na mancha, e esta parecer mais funda que a pele, é a lepra que nasceu na queimadura; o sacerdote declará-lo-á impuro: é uma chaga de lepra.
26 If on the other hand the priest on examination does not find white hair on the mark or depression ofthe skin, but a fading of the mark, the priest will isolate the person for seven days.	26 Se o sacerdote verificar que não há cabelo branco na mancha, e que ela não parece mais funda que a pele, e se tiver tornado de uma cor pálida, isolará esse homem durante sete dias.
27 He wil examine the person on the seventh day and, if the disease has spread over the skin, he wildeclare the sick person unclean: this is a case of contagious skin-disease.	27 Depois disso o examinará. Se a mancha tiver se estendido por sobre a pele, o sacerdote declará-lo-á impuro; é uma chaga de lepra.
28 If the mark has stayed where it was and has not spread over the skin, but has faded instead, it wasonly a swel ing due to the burn. The priest wil declare the person clean: it is merely a burn scar.	28 Mas, se a mancha ficou no mesmo lugar sem se estender por sobre a pele, e se tiver tornado de uma cor pálida, é o tumor da queimadura. O sacerdote declará-lo-á puro, pois é a cicatriz da queimadura.
29 'If a man or a woman has a sore on the head or chin,	29 Quando um homem ou uma mulher tiver uma chaga na cabeça ou no queixo, o sacerdote o examinará.
30 the priest wil examine the sore; and if he finds a depression visible in the skin, with the hair on ityel ow and thin, he wil declare the sick person unclean: this is tinea, that is to say, a contagious skin-disease of the head or chin.	30 Se ela parecer mais funda que a pele, e nela houver os cabelos finos e amarelados, o sacerdote declarará impuro o enfermo: esta é a tinha, a lepra da cabeça ou do queixo
31 If on examining this case of tinea the priest finds no visible depression in the skin and no yellow hair,he wil isolate the person so affected for seven days.	31 Se o sacerdote averiguar que a chaga da tinha não parece mais funda que a pele, e nela não houver cabelos negros, o sacerdote isolará durante sete dias aquele que tem a chaga da tinha.
32 He wil examine the infected part on the seventh day, and if he finds that the tinea has not spread,that the hair on it is not yel ow, and that there is no visible depression in the skin,	32 No sétimo dia o examinará. Se a tinha não se espalhou, nela não houver cabelo amarelado algum, e a chaga não parecer mais funda do que a pele,
33 the sick person will shave his hair off, all except the part affected with tinea, and the priest wil againisolate him for seven days.	33 o enfermo cortará a barba, exceto no lugar da chaga, e o sacerdote o isolará de novo durante sete dias.
34 He wil examine the infected part on the seventh day, and if he finds that it has not spread over theskin, and that there is no visible depression of the skin, the priest wil declare the sick person clean. Afterwashing his clothes the person wil be clean.	34 No sétimo dia o examinará. Se a tinha não se espalhou por sobre a pele, e a chaga não parecer mais funda que a pele, o sacerdote declará-lo-á puro; ele levará suas vestes e será puro.
35 But if after this purification the tinea does spread over the skin,	35 Se, entretanto, depois que o tiver declarado puro, a tinha se estender por sobre a pele, o sacerdote o examinará.
36 the priest wil examine the person; if he finds that the tinea has indeed spread over the skin, the sickperson is unclean, and there is no need to verify whether the hair is yellow.	36 Se a tinha se tiver espalhado na pele, o sacerdote não procurará o cabelo amarelo, porque o homem é impuro
37 Whereas if, so far as he can see, the tinea is arrested and dark hair is beginning to grow on it, thesick person is cured. He is clean, and the priest will declare him clean.	37 Se a tinha lhe parece estacionária, e nela houver crescido cabelos negros, ele sarou; o homem está puro e o sacerdote declará-lo-á como tal.
38 'If spots break out on the skin of a man or woman, and if these spots are white,	38 Quando o homem ou mulher tiver na pele manchas brancas, o sacerdote o examinará.
39 the priest wil examine them. If he finds that the spots are of a dul white, this is a rash that hasbroken out on the skin: the sick person is clean.	39 Se essas manchas na pele são de um branco pálido, é uma mancha branca superficial: ele é puro.
40 'If someone loses the hair of the scalp, this is baldness of the scalp but the person is clean.	40 Quando um homem perder os seus cabelos, ele será simplesmente calvo, mas será puro.
41 If he loses hair off the front of the head, this is baldness of the forehead but the person is clean.	41 Se lhe caírem os cabelos da fronte, ele terá a fronte calva, mas será puro.
42 If, however, a reddish-white sore appears on scalp or forehead, a contagious skin-disease hasbroken out on the scalp or forehead.	42 Mas se na parte calva, posterior ou dianteira, se encontrar uma chaga de um branco-avermelhado, é a lepra que se declarou na parte calva posterior ou dianteira.
43 The priest wil examine it, and if he finds a reddish-white swel ing on scalp or forehead, looking like acontagious skin-disease,	43 O sacerdote o examinará. Se o tumor da chaga for de um branco-avermelhado na parte calva posterior ou dianteira, tendo o aspecto da lepra da pele do corpo, esse homem é leproso,
44 the person has such a disease: he is unclean. The priest will declare him unclean; he has acontagious skin-disease of the head.	44 é impuro; a sua lepra está na cabeça.
45 'Anyone with a contagious skin-disease wil wear torn clothing and disordered hair; and wil cover theupper lip and shout, "Unclean, unclean."	45 Todo homem atingido pela lepra terá suas vestes rasgadas e a cabeça descoberta. Cobrirá a barba e clamará: Impuro! Impuro!
46 As long as the disease lasts, such a person wil be unclean and, being unclean, will live alone andlive outside the camp.	46 Enquanto durar o seu mal, ele será impuro. É impuro; habitará só, e a sua habitação será fora do acampamento."
47 'When a piece of clothing is infected with mould, be it wool en or linen clothing,	47 "Quando a lepra aparecer numa veste de lã ou de linho,
48 linen or wool en fabric or covering, or leather or anything made of leather,	48 num tecido de tela ou de trama, quer seja de lã quer de linho, numa pele ou num objeto qualquer de pele,
49 if the spot on the clothing, leather, fabric, covering or object made of leather is a greenish or reddishcolour, it is a disease to be shown to the priest.	49 se a mancha na veste, na pele, no tecido de tela ou de trama ou no objeto de pele, for esverdeada ou avermelhada, é uma lepra: será mostrada ao sacerdote.
50 The priest wil examine the infection and isolate the object for seven days.	50 O sacerdote examinará a mancha e isolará durante sete dias o objeto atingido pelo mal.
51 If on the seventh day he observes that the infection has spread on the clothing, fabric, covering,leather or object made of leather, whatever it may be, this is a contagious disease and the object is unclean.	51 No sétimo dia examinará a chaga. Se ela se tiver espalhado pela veste, pelo tecido de tela ou de trama, pela pele ou pelo objeto de pele, seja qual for, é uma lepra roedora; o objeto é impuro.
52 He wil burn this clothing, fabric, linen or woollen covering or leather object whatever it may be, onwhich the infection has appeared; for this is a contagious disease which must be destroyed by fire.	52 Queimará a veste, o tecido de tela ou de trama de linho ou de lã, o objeto de pele, seja qual for, em que se encontre a mancha, porque é uma lepra roedora; o objeto será queimado no fogo.
53 'But if on examination the priest finds that the infection has not spread on the clothing, fabric,covering, or leather object whatever it may be,	53 Mas se o sacerdote verificar que mancha não se espalhou pela veste, pelo tecido de tela ou de trama, ou pelo objeto de pele,
54 he wil order the infected object to be washed and wil isolate it again for a period of seven days.	54 mandará lavar o objeto afetado e o isolará uma segunda vez durante sete dias.
55 After the washing, he wil examine the infection and if he finds that there is no change in itsappearance, even though it has not spread, the article is unclean. You wil burn it; it is infected through andthrough.	55 Em seguida examinará a mancha, depois que ela tiver sido lavada. Se não mudou de aspecto nem se espalhou, o objeto é impuro. Tu o queimarás no fogo: a mancha roeu o objeto de um lado a outro.
56 'But if on examination the priest finds that the infection has diminished after washing, he will tear it outof the clothing, leather, fabric or covering.	56 Mas se o sacerdote verificar que a mancha lavada tomou uma cor pálida, arrancá-la-á da veste, da pele ou do tecido de tela ou de trama.
57 But if the infection reappears on the same clothing, fabric, covering or leather object whatever it maybe, this means that the infection is active; you will burn whatever is infected.	57 Se ela voltar novamente à veste, ao tecido de tela ou de trama ou ao objeto de pele, é uma erupção de lepra. Tu queimarás no fogo o objeto atingido pela mancha.
58 The clothing, fabric, covering or leather object whatever it may be, from which the infectiondisappears after being washed, wil be clean after it has been washed a second time.	58 Mas a veste, o tecido de tela ou de trama, o objeto de pele, seja o que for, que tiveres lavado e do qual a mancha tiver desaparecido, será lavado uma segunda vez e será puro.
59 'Such is the law governing disease in a linen or wool en garment, a fabric or covering or leather objectwhatever it may be, when it is a question of declaring them clean or unclean.'	59 Tal é a lei relativa à mancha de lepra que atacar as vestes de lã ou de linho, os tecidos de tela ou de trama, ou qualquer objeto de pele; é segundo ela que se declararão esses objetos puros ou impuros."
