Leviticus 13

1 Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,	1 - Il Signore parlò a Mosè ed Aronne, e disse:
2 'If a swel ing or scab or spot appears on someone's skin, which could develop into a contagious skin-disease, that person must then be taken to the priest, either Aaron or one of his sons.	2 «Quelli sulla cui pelle e carne si sia formata una diversità di colore, o una pustola, o qualcosa di lucido, cioè piaga di lebbra, verrà condotto ad Aronne sacerdote, o ad uno de' suoi figliuoli.
3 The priest wil examine the disease on the skin. If the hair on the diseased part has turned white, or ifthe disease bites into the skin, the skin-disease is contagious, and after examination the priest wil declare theperson unclean.	3 Se questi riscontrerà nella pelle la lebbra, e mutato in bianco il colore dei peli, e depressa rispetto alla rimanente pelle e carne la parte dov'è la lebbra, è veramente piaga di lebbra, e quegli a giudizio del sacerdote verrà segregato.
4 But if there is a white spot on the skin without any visible depression of the skin or whitening of thehair, the priest wil isolate the sick person for seven days.	4 Se poi vi sarà sulla pelle qualcosa di bianco e di lucido, ma non più depresso della rimanente carne, e i peli saranno del colore di prima, il sacerdote lo farà chiudere per altri sette giorni,
5 On the seventh day he wil examine the person, and if he observes that the disease persists thoughwithout spreading over the skin, he will isolate the person for a further seven days	5 ed al settimo lo visiterà. Se la lebbra non s'è estesa di più, e non è penetrata di più nella pelle, lo farà chiudere per altri sette giorni,
6 and examine him again on the seventh. If he finds that the disease has faded and has not spread overthe skin, the priest wil declare the person clean. This was merely a scab. Once he has washed his clothing hewil be clean.	6 ed al settimo giorno lo rivisiterà. Se la lebbra non sarà più lucida, e non si sarà estesa sulla pelle, lo dichiarerà mondo, perchè si tratta di scabbia; quegli si laverà le vesti, e sarà mondo.
7 'But if the scab spreads over the skin after the sick person has been examined by the priest anddeclared clean, then he wil let himself be examined again by the priest.	7 Ma se dopo essere stato visitato dal sacerdote e dichiarato mondo, la lebbra tornerà a crescere, verrà condotto a lui,
8 After examining him and certifying the spread of the scab over the skin, the priest wil declare himunclean: it is a contagious skin-disease.	8 e convinto d'immondezza.
9 'Someone who has a contagious skin-disease must be taken to the priest.	9 Se un uomo avrà la piaga della lebbra, verrà condotto al sacerdote,
10 The priest wil examine the sick person, and if he finds a whitish swel ing with whitening of the hairand an ulcer forming on the skin,	10 che lo visiterà. Se sulla pelle apparirà il colore bianco, ed il colore de' capelli sarà cambiato, e vi sarà scoperta la carne viva,
11 this is a dormant skin-disease, and the priest wil declare the person unclean. He wil not isolate him;he is obviously unclean.	11 sarà dichiarata lebbra inveterata e radicata nella pelle. Il sacerdote pertanto lo dichiarerà contaminato, nè lo rinchiuderà, perchè è patente la sua immondezza.
12 'But if the disease spreads all through the skin, if it covers the person entirely from head to foot so faras the priest can see,	12 Se poi la lebbra si manifesta allargandosi sulla pelle e giunge a coprire da capo a piedi tutta la pelle dovunque gli occhi possono arrivare,
13 the priest wil then examine the sick person and, if he finds that the skin-disease covers his wholebody, declare the sick person clean. Since it has al become white, he is clean.	13 il sacerdote lo visiterà, e lo dichiarerà affetto da lebbra benignissima, essendo questa divenuta tutta bianca; perciò quell'uomo sarà mondo.
14 But as soon as an ulcer appears on him, he wil be unclean.	14 Ma quando in uno apparisce la carne viva,
15 After examining the ulcer, the priest will declare him unclean: the ulcer is unclean, it is contagious.	15 allora su giudizio del sacerdote sarà dichiarato impuro, ed annoverato tra gl'immondi; perchè la carne viva tocca da lebbra è immonda.
16 But if the ulcer becomes white again, the sick person wil go to the priest;	16 Se poi ritorna bianca; e ricuopre tutta la persona,
17 the priest wil examine him and if he finds that the disease has turned white, he wil declare the sickperson clean: he is clean.	17 il sacerdote l'esaminerà, e dichiarerà che quegli è mondo.
18 'When an ulcer appears on someone's skin, and then gets better,	18 Se sulla carne e sulla pelle d'uno s'era formata un'ulcera, ed è guarita,
19 and if then a white swel ing or a reddish-white spot forms on the same place, the sick person wilshow himself to the priest.	19 ed al posto dell'ulcera, è apparsa una cicatrice bianca o rossastra, costui verrà condotto al sacerdote.
20 The priest wil examine him, and if he finds a visible depression in the skin and a whitening of thehair, he wil declare the person unclean: this is a case of contagious skin-disease breaking out in an ulcer.	20 Se questi vedrà che la parte dov'è la lebbra è infossata rispetto alla rimanente carne, e che i peli son diventati bianchi, lo dichiarerà contaminato, perchè la piaga della lebbra s'è formata su quell'ulcera.
21 But if on examination the priest finds neither white hair nor depression of the skin, but a fading of theaffected part, he wil isolate the sick person for seven days.	21 Se poi i peli hanno conservato il primitivo colore, e la cicatrice è oscura e non infossata rispetto all'altra carne, lo terrà chiuso per sette giorni;
22 If the disease has then spread over the skin, he will declare the person unclean: this is a case ofcontagious skin-disease.	22 se il male s'estende, verrà giudicato per lebbra;
23 But if the spot has stayed where it was and has not spread, it is the scar of the ulcer and the priestwil declare the person clean.	23 se rimane dove prima, è la cicatrice dell'ulcera, e quella persona è monda.
24 'If someone has a burn on the skin and an abscess, a reddish-white or white spot, forms on the burn,	24 Se uno si sarà fatto una bruciatura sulla carne e sulla pelle, e guarita che sia, presenti una cicatrice bianca o rossastra,
25 the priest wil then examine it. If he finds a whitening of the hair or a visible depression of the mark onthe skin, a contagious disease has broken out in the burn. The priest wil declare the sick person unclean: this isa contagious skin-disease.	25 il sacerdote la esamini; se è diventata bianca, e se al posto suo la pelle è più bassa che nel rimanente, lo dichiarerà contaminato, perchè la piaga della lebbra è venuta su quella cicatrice.
26 If on the other hand the priest on examination does not find white hair on the mark or depression ofthe skin, but a fading of the mark, the priest will isolate the person for seven days.	26 Se poi il colore de' peli non è cambiato, se la piaga non è sbassata rispetto alla rimanente carne, e la stessa apparenza della lebbra volge allo scuro, lo chiuderà per sette giorni.
27 He wil examine the person on the seventh day and, if the disease has spread over the skin, he wildeclare the sick person unclean: this is a case of contagious skin-disease.	27 Al settimo giorno lo visiterà; se la lebbra sulla pelle è cresciuta, lo dichiarerà contaminato;
28 If the mark has stayed where it was and has not spread over the skin, but has faded instead, it wasonly a swel ing due to the burn. The priest wil declare the person clean: it is merely a burn scar.	28 se invece il bianco è rimasto al suo posto, e volge allo scuro, è l'effetto della bruciatura, e quegli sarà dichiarato mondo, perchè la sua è cicatrice di bruciatura.
29 'If a man or a woman has a sore on the head or chin,	29 Se la lebbra sarà apparsa fra i capelli o la barba d'un uomo o d'una donna, il sacerdote li esaminerà.
30 the priest wil examine the sore; and if he finds a depression visible in the skin, with the hair on ityel ow and thin, he wil declare the sick person unclean: this is tinea, that is to say, a contagious skin-disease of the head or chin.	30 Se quella regione è un poco incavata rispetto alla carne rimanente, ed i capelli tirano al giallo e sono più fini del solito, li dichiari contaminati, perchè quella è lebbra dei capelli e della barba.
31 If on examining this case of tinea the priest finds no visible depression in the skin and no yellow hair,he wil isolate the person so affected for seven days.	31 Se vedrà che la regione macchiata è alla pari con la carne vicina, ed i capelli son neri, lo terrà chiuso per sette giorni,
32 He wil examine the infected part on the seventh day, and if he finds that the tinea has not spread,that the hair on it is not yel ow, and that there is no visible depression in the skin,	32 ed al settimo giorno lo visiterà. Se la macchia non s'è allargata, se i capelli sono del loro colore, ed il luogo della piaga è pari col resto della carne,
33 the sick person will shave his hair off, all except the part affected with tinea, and the priest wil againisolate him for seven days.	33 costui verrà raso, eccetto il luogo dov'è macchiato, e sarà chiuso per altri sette giorni.
34 He wil examine the infected part on the seventh day, and if he finds that it has not spread over theskin, and that there is no visible depression of the skin, the priest wil declare the sick person clean. Afterwashing his clothes the person wil be clean.	34 Se al settimo giorno si vedrà che la piaga è rimasta ferma al suo luogo, e non ribassata rispetto alla carne circostante, il sacerdote lo dichiarerà mondo, e quegli, lavatesi le vesti, sarà mondo.
35 But if after this purification the tinea does spread over the skin,	35 Se però dopo questa dichiarazione di mondezza, la macchia sulla pelle crescesse di nuovo,
36 the priest wil examine the person; if he finds that the tinea has indeed spread over the skin, the sickperson is unclean, and there is no need to verify whether the hair is yellow.	36 non stia a cercar di più se i capelli tendano a cambiar in giallo, perchè quegli è palesemente immondo.
37 Whereas if, so far as he can see, the tinea is arrested and dark hair is beginning to grow on it, thesick person is cured. He is clean, and the priest will declare him clean.	37 Ma se la macchia s'è fermata, ed i capelli son neri, riconosca che quell'uomo è guarito, e con sicurezza lo dichiari mondo.
38 'If spots break out on the skin of a man or woman, and if these spots are white,	38 Se sulla pelle d'un uomo o di una donna apparirà del bianco,
39 the priest wil examine them. If he finds that the spots are of a dul white, this is a rash that hasbroken out on the skin: the sick person is clean.	39 il sacerdote li visiti. Se vedrà che quel bianco sulla pelle volge allo scuro, sappia che non è lebbra ma semplice macchia di color bianco, e che quell'uomo è puro.
40 'If someone loses the hair of the scalp, this is baldness of the scalp but the person is clean.	40 L'uomo a cui cadono dalla nuca i capelli divien calvo, ma è puro;
41 If he loses hair off the front of the head, this is baldness of the forehead but the person is clean.	41 e quegli al quale cadono di sulla fronte, divien calvo davanti, ma è mondo.
42 If, however, a reddish-white sore appears on scalp or forehead, a contagious skin-disease hasbroken out on the scalp or forehead.	42 Se però sulla calvizie del capo o della fronte comparirà un colore bianco o rossastro,
43 The priest wil examine it, and if he finds a reddish-white swel ing on scalp or forehead, looking like acontagious skin-disease,	43 ed il sacerdote l'avrà costatato, sentenzierà senza dubitare che quella è lebbra formatasi sulla calvizie.
44 the person has such a disease: he is unclean. The priest will declare him unclean; he has acontagious skin-disease of the head.	44 Chiunque pertanto sarà macchiato di lebbra, e sarà segregato a giudizio del sacerdote,
45 'Anyone with a contagious skin-disease wil wear torn clothing and disordered hair; and wil cover theupper lip and shout, "Unclean, unclean."	45 porterà le vesti sdrucite, capo scoperto, la bocca turata con la veste, e griderà d'essere contaminato ed impuro.
46 As long as the disease lasts, such a person wil be unclean and, being unclean, will live alone andlive outside the camp.	46 Per tutto il tempo che è lebbroso ed impuro, starà solo, fuori degli accampamenti.
47 'When a piece of clothing is infected with mould, be it wool en or linen clothing,	47 Se una veste di lana o di lino apparirà avere la lebbra
48 linen or wool en fabric or covering, or leather or anything made of leather,	48 nello stame e nella trama, o se una pelliccia o qualsiasi oggetto fatto di pelle,
49 if the spot on the clothing, leather, fabric, covering or object made of leather is a greenish or reddishcolour, it is a disease to be shown to the priest.	49 sia macchiato di bianco o di rossastro che sembri lebbra, verrà mostrato al sacerdote.
50 The priest wil examine the infection and isolate the object for seven days.	50 Questi l'osserverà, e poi lo chiuderà per sette giorni;
51 If on the seventh day he observes that the infection has spread on the clothing, fabric, covering,leather or object made of leather, whatever it may be, this is a contagious disease and the object is unclean.	51 se al settimo giorno, riosservandolo, troverà che la macchia è cresciuta, è lebbra radicata; dichiarerà immonda la veste o l'oggetto qualsiasi dov'è stata scoperta,
52 He wil burn this clothing, fabric, linen or woollen covering or leather object whatever it may be, onwhich the infection has appeared; for this is a contagious disease which must be destroyed by fire.	52 che perciò verrà dato alle fiamme.
53 'But if on examination the priest finds that the infection has not spread on the clothing, fabric,covering, or leather object whatever it may be,	53 Ma se vedrà che la macchia non è cresciuta,
54 he wil order the infected object to be washed and wil isolate it again for a period of seven days.	54 darà ordine che sia lavata la cosa dov'è la lebbra, e la terrà chiusa per altri sette giorni.
55 After the washing, he wil examine the infection and if he finds that there is no change in itsappearance, even though it has not spread, the article is unclean. You wil burn it; it is infected through andthrough.	55 Se vedrà che non ha ripreso l'aspetto di prima, anche se la lebbra non è cresciuta, la giudicherà immonda, e la farà bruciare, perchè è lebbra sparsa alla superficie di quella veste, o anche penetrata per tutto.
56 'But if on examination the priest finds that the infection has diminished after washing, he will tear it outof the clothing, leather, fabric or covering.	56 Se, dopo che la veste è stata lavata, il luogo della lebbra diventerà più scuro, lo straccerà, e lo staccherà dal resto.
57 But if the infection reappears on the same clothing, fabric, covering or leather object whatever it maybe, this means that the infection is active; you will burn whatever is infected.	57 E se dopo ciò apparirà ancora una lebbra volante e vaga nei luoghi che prima erano immuni, il tutto dev'essere bruciato.
58 The clothing, fabric, covering or leather object whatever it may be, from which the infectiondisappears after being washed, wil be clean after it has been washed a second time.	58 Ma se, lavando, le macchie vanno via, si laveranno due volte con acqua anche le parti pure, ed il tutto sarà mondo.
59 'Such is the law governing disease in a linen or wool en garment, a fabric or covering or leather objectwhatever it may be, when it is a question of declaring them clean or unclean.'	59 Questa è la legge riguardante la lebbra di una veste di lana e di lino, nello stame e nella trama, e d'ogni oggetto di pelle, per sapere se debba esser dichiarato mondo o immondo».
