Isaiah 63

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah in crimson garments, so magnificently dressed, marchingso ful of strength? - It is I, whose word is saving justice, whose power is to save.	1 »Ki ez, aki Edomból jön, vérvörös ruhákban Boszrából? Ékes az öltözetében, büszkén lépdel ereje teljében.« »Én vagyok, aki igazságot szólok, és hatalmam van a szabadításra.«
2 -Why are your garments red, your clothes like someone treading the winepress?	2 »Miért vörös az öltözeted, és ruháid miért olyanok, mint a szőlőprésben taposóé?«
3 -I have trodden the winepress alone; of my people, not one was with me. So I trod them down in myanger, I trampled on them in my wrath. Their blood squirted over my garments and al my clothes are stained.	3 »Egyedül tapostam a sajtót, és a népek közül senki sem volt velem; összetapostam őket haragomban, és eltiportam őket indulatomban; ráfröccsent nedvük ruháimra, és egész öltözetemet beszennyeztem.
4 For I have decided on a day of vengeance, my year of retribution has come.	4 Mert bosszú napja van a szívemben, és megváltásom esztendeje elérkezett.
5 I looked: there was no one to help me; I was appal ed but could find no supporter! Then my own armcame to my rescue and my own fury supported me.	5 Föltekintettem, de nem volt segítő, és csodálkoztam, hogy nincs támogató; de megszabadított engem saját karom, és indulatom támogatott engem.
6 I crushed the peoples in my anger, I shattered them in my fury and sent their blood streaming to theground.	6 Népeket tapostam el haragomban, összezúztam őket indulatomban, és a földre csurgattam nedvüket.«
7 I shal recount Yahweh's acts of faithful love, Yahweh's praises, in return for all that Yahweh has donefor us, for his great kindness to the House of Israel, for all that he has done in his mercy, for the abundance ofhis acts of faithful love.	7 Az Úr kegyességét emlegetem, az Úr dicső tetteit, mindazt, amit velünk tett az Úr; és nagy jóságát Izrael háza iránt, amit velük tett irgalmassága szerint és kegyességének nagysága szerint.
8 For he said, 'Truly they are my people, children who will not betray me,' and he became their Saviour.	8 Ezt mondta: »Mégis az én népem ők, fiaim, akik nem lesznek hűtlenek«; és szabadítójukká lett.
9 In al their troubles, it was no messenger or angel but his presence that saved them. In his love and pityhe himself redeemed them, lifted them up and carried them throughout the days of old.	9 Minden nyomorúságukban nem követ vagy angyal, hanem az ő arca szabadította meg őket; szeretetében és szánalmában maga váltotta meg őket; felemelte és hordozta őket a hajdankornak minden napján.
10 But they rebelled and vexed his holy Spirit. Then he became their enemy and himself waged war onthem.	10 Ők azonban ellenkeztek, és megszomorították szent lelkét; ezért ellenségükké vált, és ő maga harcolt ellenük.
11 But he cal ed the past to mind, Moses his servant. Where is he who saved them from the sea, theShepherd of his flock? Where was he who put his holy Spirit among them,	11 De visszaemlékeztek a hajdankor napjaira, Mózesre és népére. Hol van, aki felhozta őket a tengerből, nyájának pásztorával együtt? Hol van, aki bensejébe helyezte az ő szent lelkét?
12 whose glorious arm led the way by Moses' right hand? Who divided the waters before them to winhimself everlasting renown,	12 Aki vezette Mózes jobbját dicső karjával; aki kettéhasította előttük a vizet, hogy örök nevet szerezzen magának;
13 who led them through the depths as easily as a horse through the desert? They stumbled as little	13 aki vezette őket a mélységekben, mint a lovat a pusztában, úgyhogy nem botlottak meg?
14 as cattle going down to the plain. Yahweh's Spirit led them to rest. This was how you guided yourpeople to win yourself glorious renown.	14 Ahogy az állatot, mely leereszkedik a völgybe, megpihenteti az Úr lelke, úgy vezetted népedet, hogy dicső nevet szerezz magadnak.
15 Look down from heaven and see from your holy and glorious dwel ing. Where is your zeal and yourmight? Are your deepest feelings, your mercy to me, to be restrained?	15 Tekints le az égből, és lásd, szent és dicső lakóhelyedről! Hol van féltő szereteted és hatalmad? Bensőd felindulása és irgalmasságod távol maradnak tőlem.
16 After all, you are our Father. If Abraham will not own us, if Israel wil not acknowledge us, you,Yahweh, are our Father, 'Our Redeemer' is your name from of old.	16 Mégis te vagy a mi atyánk! Mert Ábrahám nem tud rólunk, és Izrael nem ismer minket; te vagy, Uram, a mi atyánk, Megváltónk a te neved öröktől fogva.
17 Why, Yahweh, do you let us wander from your ways and let our hearts grow too hard to fear you?Return, for the sake of your servants, the tribes of your heritage.	17 Miért hagyod, Uram, hogy letévedjünk útjaidról? Miért keményíted meg szívünket, hogy ne féljünk téged? Fordulj vissza szolgáid miatt, örökséged törzsei miatt!
18 Your holy people have owned it for so short a time, our enemies have trampled on your sanctuary.	18 Rövid idő alatt birtokba vették szent népedet, ellenségeink taposták szentélyedet.
19 We have long been like those you do not rule, people who do not bear your name. Oh, that you wouldtear the heavens open and come down -- in your presence the mountains would quake,	19 Olyanok lettünk, mint akiken nem te uralkodtál öröktől fogva, akiket nem a te nevedről neveztek el. Bárcsak szétszakítanád az egeket, és leszállnál! Színed előtt a hegyek megrendülnének!
