Isaiah 46

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Bel is crouching, Nebo cowering, their idols are being put on animals, on beasts of burden, the loadsyou have been carrying are a burden to a weary beast.	1 Bel se desploma, Nebó se derrumba, sus ídolos van sobre animales y bestias de carga; llevados como fardos sobre un animal desfallecido.
2 They are cowering and crouching together, no one can save this burden, they themselves have goneinto captivity.	2 Se derrumbaron, se desplomaron todos, no pudieron salvar la carga; ellos mismos van cautivos.
3 Listen to me, House of Jacob, al who remain of the House of Israel, whom I have carried since thewomb, whom I have supported since you were conceived.	3 Escuchadme, casa de Jacob, y todos los supervivientes de la casa de Israel, los que habéis sido transportados desde el seno, llevados desde el vientre materno.
4 Until your old age I shal be the same, until your hair is grey I shall carry you. As I have done, so I shalsupport you, I myself shall carry and shall save you.	4 Hasta vuestra vejez, yo seré el mismo, hasta que se os vuelva el pelo blanco, yo os llevaré. Ya lo tengo hecho, yo me encargaré, yo me encargo de ello, yo os salvaré.
5 With whom can you compare me, equate me, to whom can you liken me, making equals of us?	5 ¿A quién me podréis asemejar o comparar? ¿A quién me asemejaréis para que seamos parecidos?
6 They lavish gold from their purses and weigh out silver on the scales. They engage a goldsmith tomake a god, then bow low and actually adore!	6 Sacan el oro de sus bolsas, pesan la plata en la balanza, y pagan a un orfebre para que les haga un dios, al que adoran y ante el cual se postran.
7 They lift it on their shoulders and carry it, and put it down where it is meant to stand, so that it nevermoves from the spot. You may cry out to it in distress, it never replies, it never saves anyone in trouble.	7 Se lo cargan al hombro y lo transportan, lo colocan en su sitio y allí se queda. No se mueve de su lugar. Hasta llegan a invocarle, mas no responde, no salva de la angustia.
8 Remember this and stand firm; rebels, look into your hearts.	8 Recordad esto y sed hombres, tened seso, rebeldes,
9 Remember the things that happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and thereis none like me.	9 recordad lo pasado desde antiguo, pues yo soy Dios y no hay ningún otro, yo soy Dios, no hay otro como yo.
10 From the beginning I revealed the future, in advance, what has not yet occurred. I say: My purposewil come about, I shal do whatever I please;	10 Yo anuncio desde el principio lo que viene después y desde el comienzo lo que aún no ha sucedido. Yo digo: Mis planes se realizarán y todos mis deseos llevaré a cabo.
11 I cal a bird of prey from the east, my man predestined, from a distant land. What I have said, I shaldo, what I have planned, I shal perform.	11 Yo llamo del Oriente un ave rapaz de un país lejano al hombre en quien pensé. Tal como lo he dicho, así se cumplirá; como lo he planeado, así lo haré.
12 Listen to me, you hard-hearted people far removed from saving justice:	12 Escuchadme vosotros, los que habéis perdido el corazón, los que estáis alejados de lo justo.
13 I am bringing my justice nearer, it is not far away, my salvation wil not delay. I shal place mysalvation in Zion and my glory in Israel.	13 Yo hago acercarse mi victoria, no está lejos, mi salvación no tardará. Pondré salvación en Sión, mi prez será para Israel.
