Isaiah 39

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 At that time, the king of Babylon, Merodach-Baladan son of Baladan, sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah,for he had heard of his illness and his recovery.	1 في ذلك الزمان ارسل مرودخ بلادان بن بلادان ملك بابل رسائل وهدية الى حزقيا لانه سمع انه مرض ثم صحّ.
2 Hezekiah was delighted at this and showed the ambassadors his entire treasury, the silver, gold,spices, precious oil, his armoury too, and everything to be seen in his storehouses. There was nothing in hispalace or in his whole domain that Hezekiah did not show them.	2 ففرح بهم حزقيا واراهم بيت ذخائره الفضة والذهب والاطياب والزيت الطيب وكل بيت اسلحته وكل ما وجد في خزائنه. لم يكن شيء لم يرهم اياه حزقيا في بيته وفي كل ملكه
3 The prophet Isaiah then came to King Hezekiah and asked him, 'What have these men said, and wherehave they come to you from?' Hezekiah answered, 'They have come from a distant country, from Babylon.'	3 فجاء اشعياء النبي الى الملك حزقيا وقال له. ماذا قال هؤلاء الرجال ومن اين جاءوا اليك. فقال حزقيا جاءوا اليّ من ارض بعيدة من بابل.
4 Isaiah said, 'What have they seen in your palace?' 'They have seen everything in my palace,' Hezekiahanswered. 'There is nothing in my storehouses that I have not shown them.'	4 فقال ماذا رأوا في بيتك. فقال حزقيا رأوا كل ما في بيتي. ليس في خزائني شيء لم أرهم اياه.
5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, 'Listen to the word of Yahweh Sabaoth,	5 فقال اشعياء لحزقيا اسمع قول رب الجنود.
6 "The days are coming when everything in your palace, everything that your ancestors have amasseduntil now, wil be carried off to Babylon. Not a thing wil be left," Yahweh says.	6 هوذا تأتي ايام يحمل فيها كل ما في بيتك وما خزنه آباؤك الى هذا اليوم الى بابل. لا يترك شيء يقول الرب.
7 "Sons sprung from you, sons begotten by you, will be abducted to be eunuchs in the palace of the kingof Babylon." '	7 ومن بنيك الذين يخرجون منك الذين تلدهم ياخذون فيكونون خصيانا في قصر ملك بابل.
8 Hezekiah said to Isaiah, 'This word of Yahweh that you announce is reassuring,' for he was thinking,'There is going to be peace and security during my lifetime.'	8 فقال حزقيا لاشعياء جيد هو قول الرب الذي تكلمت به. وقال فانه يكون سلام وامان في ايامي
